Very clever design, to get 4 berths, kitchen and bathroom along with internal storage for bikes etc in a conversion and still have a feeling of space, well done. Good presentation of the seats Alan.
Nice to see new stuff, not just things getting shuffled around. I think this is the beginning of some badly needed new innovations. Great video, thank you.
9:29 - Alan, you look so pleased with yourself after assembling that ingenious double bunk bed! Ha, ha! Your expression is priceless! 😊 This bunk bed is a game changer! No one else has one and its absolute genius! What a great find. I have to agree with you, this is the best RV to date. No, I would not exchange a bed in back for this bunk bed contraption. For one, you cannot make a quick getaway without dissembing the entire thing. I prefer loft beds that you pull down. Not a big fan of rear beds. Use rear for a bathroom and bath for a storage closet.
This is what a well constructed Winnebago Travato 59G could look like if Winnebago cared to do a quality job. Plus it has an extra bunk bed system for the kids. Just beautiful, Sweden! Well done!
It's very nice if we also have campervan like this... We are beginer campervan from Indonesia... We want to explore indonesia and share to all people... Thank 's for your video... It' s very cool....
Taking the overnight train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. When you're ready for bed, the guard comes around and sets up the beds, one up and one down. They're used every day for years they never break and are surprisingly strong. My feeling is this van would be great for family week-ends and holidays but for permanent living? mmmmmmmm. Nice idea though. Great kitchen and good use of space in the wet room.
Creative, flexible and practical. I also like the larger front overhead bed for 2 that pulls down and sits about dinette height. The bedding can be already ready (or close to it) and it's a quite lower and raise.
Interesting. 👍 Thanks Alan. The set up is great and presumably the patent can be licensed to other campervan companies. I also like the idea of a rear lounge plus bunk beds at the front. Maybe using a little more length. Put it on a quality 4x4 chassis and we may be in the market 🤗
My 35 year-old Trafic Autosleeper pop top has the bed in the front (not as high tech as this, I admit) and two hammock style bunk beds that pull out from the sides at high level. I still think it's better than most of the modern campers of a similar size I've seen!
I agree with you, Alan! As you were showing the bunk beds I was thinking that they were large enough for many adults. The corner bed is really too small for comfort for many (most?) adult couples, so just get rid of it and have space for a larger kitchen, washroom, and bicycle storage. Right on, mate! Thanks for the video!
Fabulous layout and the Bunk beds are ingenious although i wouldn't need them..plenty of storage and space for a small Motorcycle and bicycles under the bed...i don't know what more you need all in a small vehicle..Brilliant.
This could be an all seasons vehicle for a couple of van lifers touring many countries. Improveme to would include bigger holding capabilities for fridge and water, especially in this covid 19 era.
It’s all a matter of opinion as well as a matter of how you choose to use your Campervan. I wouldn’t choose much of what is on display here but can see why you like it so much. Thanks for posting this. I find different layouts and ideas very interesting..
If you forget and sit up straight in the bottom bunk, you have SO many things to hit your head on. I personally think the idea of a sofa turning into a decent double bed at the back is more practical and saves more room. Not sure the cleaniness of having to push a button to use the sink after the toilet works either.
I personally prefer the German style with the 2 single beds at the back and a door separating it from the front cabin. Love your Videos. From Catherine in Ireland
Very nice Alan, the bathroom does look a bit short and narrow for me, but that front bunkbed is something else and it just goes to show what you can do with a little bit of thought. A few years ago a bit see a crew cabbed Ford Transit with a luton body on it, it was being used to take very urgent loads all over Europe, and was driven by a husband and wife. in the luton bit above the crew cab it had a full sized width wise double bed and behind the two single front seats it had a small kitchen. So you can get plenty of things in a small space, you just need to think about it.
Amazing. I bet designers of camper-vans/motor homes have trouble sleeping. Jumping up in the middle of the night "Ive got it !". Find my pen and paper!!.
Brilliant Van and Brilliant Production. In my opinion you have clearly demonstrated the clever and well engineered features of this terrific camper van. I share your enthusiasm and verdict for this vehicle. Please keep these great videos coming. Best regards, Victor.
Nice video Alan, like the ariel shots and music............ Very good to see an innovative layout, like the L shaped kitchen and bathroom looks well finished, as does the rest of the van. Not keen on the front berths (though beautifully engineered) as they look a bit of a faff, and mainly cos they take up a lot of traditional storage space and if I'm not mistaken push the rear seat(s) a lot closer to the swivelled front seats.... little legroom there. Again great to see some new design coming along but for me, a great van for two with the storage areas reclaimed!
"Leaving the bed up! "Gives your dog, "A Luxury apartment, a very useful van." I sleep 5hrs only. Bunks in the front would be perfect for me, make a lounge at the back,
A really good and alternative idea about sleeping 4 persons, but I prefer the Globe Traveller idea. Much safer and still having 4 seats, with a little grant about height, till the one (or two) who is sleeping at the upper bed wakes up. Thank you for your great videos. Keep ..... walking 😊😊😊
This is a really neat four berth van. The bunk beds inspired. I would like to see a version without the bunk beds and something else in that place. Not sure what, maybe a bigger kitchen with an oven. I like the double bed being able to rise up to store big items under it while still having the bed to use. But I do have to say the bunk beds do not look all that comfortable to sleep in or sit on in driving mode.
Thank you, Alan, for the review. I also think this one is up there; well, it is in my case. It is in the UK part of the Coachman range, I also like the Coachman Travel Master Sportivo, just need to work out which? I shall go and see them at the NEC on October 24. Looking towards 2025 for purchasing, so I have plenty of time to find which one will suit my needs best.
What a clever idea with the bunked bed. I agree, could do a lot of fun things with all that space in the back with no bed. Great idea for sub 6m camper vans.
I like these longer videos very much...my favourites as there is so much to see. I know its from a little while back but I am still catching up!! TY for sharing your expeditions! 🚔🚐🚘
Love the ingenuity of the bunk bed. Obviously first generation of this concept, can't wait for it to be further developed and improved. Hopefully other manufacturers take inspiration from this and start building with a lot more creativity.
Great design. I am not %100 for the practical side of front bed but it gives much more space for bath and kitchen. So the afford can easily be accepted, have nice trips :)
That's nifty Alan. Could put the grandkids in those bunks. I wouldn't do away with the fixed bed though. Very clever design. I would instinctively put my head the other end of that lower bunk.....tucked in out of the way. Nice one.
As a single traveler, i hate the bench seat right behind the driver's seat...wonder if i could get it removed...it would really open the layout up. Also, would prefer lithium battery and an induction stove vs the 70s camping style burners.
Some clever stuff, but too crowded and too many mechanisms that can fail. That bathroom and kitchen are hideously cramped. As a retired Mechanical Design Engineer, I can imagine much better ways to arrange that volume., and wouldn't press so hard to accommodate so many bodies in there. That van's basic form-factor is wide enough for simple beds in a transverse orientation, even as bunkbed style in a more efficient use of space up front. A slightly higher high-top with a cab-over combined with a vertically compressible (or lowered) front seating should free-up one whole volume for a comfortable bed above without trying so hard!
It’s a great design except for the location of LPG tank. The danger of gas leaking inside the van makes it dangerous. Access to the tank should be outside not inside.
The "sink" in the 'wetroom' is called a basin. !!! When he said "Space" I thought he was going to follow up with "the final frontier" 😂 Who needs 'business suits' when you're on a campsite 🤔
At 9.33 you can see Alan has had a wardrobe malfunction, that is unless it is just a bit of air conditioning by choice . I like the way you ROLL Alan!!!!!
Not a fan of the bunk beds. Great for kids but we like a two person van with fix bed and lots of comfort in the seating area to lounge. Don’t like the wet room loo either. Better vans out there for two people.
I myself live in a converted van and have spent a lot of time thinking through possible designs I have often thought about using just that space in front for extra bed here is a really ingenious solution but the bottom bed is too short. i love lifting the back bed. well thought out instead of having beds in the ceiling which take the light .the bathroom is cool well utilized it is definitely new inspiration
the bed lift for me is completely unnessecary, I donẗ understand why you make a buscamper for more than two persons anyway. It makes it cramped. Kids don't like travalling. They want to make friends and play with them and not going away every day....but that's my opinion
Imagine coming in well drunk, sorting out you bed & bedding, (for hours) retiring then rolling over and falling out of the top bunk in the middle of the night. Could happen.

great idea,, Personally, I think it is comfortable to always have a bed ready, so you can stretch your back
The 2 seat lounge/table and L shaped kitchen is my fav combo. I would sacrifice half that wardrobe for a bigger bathroom, tho.

make the bathroom & kitchen slightly bigger. Clever front bed though. Ideas like that start making MWB or SWB possible, with full kitchens & wetrooms.
Nice,
Can one fit an ADV bike in the backafter lifting the bed? I have a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally pro I like to take with me, with a ramp.
I don't know the bike so I cannot comment Magnus. Why not give the dimensions to the manufacturer and ask them directly?
I do not care for this layout, makes the inside way too small and uncomfortable.
