I just purchased this and I have had issues with the panels during install. Now today I had high winds and the wind broke the zipper and another one of the panels is coming in. One of the panels came through two days ago also, without high winds. Do the panels supposed to be screwed together?
Pretty girl, poorly engineered gazebo. Lack of engineering detail makes this a pain to erect and assemble. I'm an engineer, and i loath lazy engineering. Poor engineering starts with no accounting for sloped patios, as in typical slope away from the house for drainage. So to keep things plumb and level, I fabricated stands for the two distant posts. But I shouldn't have to, and some people might not know how or have the materials. The frame itself assembles fairly easily, just don't fully tighten every fastener, keep that towards the end. Where the issues arise is in panel installation. The two short ends (12x16 gazebo) fit fairly easily. Not so with the longer sides. I've had to cut two panels on opposite corners down by about 1/4 inch, and still use massive leverage with pry bars to force panels into position. Its entirely unnecessary if more thought was put into the engineering behind the product. Also, since one box weighed about 140 lb, which is too much for a single FedEx employee, that box was heavily damaged on both ends. The four gutter corners are scraped, on ground heavily from where it looks like box was dragged across concrete. Also, several panels had bends that had to be reshaped. Poor packaging to blame. Very unsatisfied, and seeking refund from Amazon.
