for the life of me i cant remove the plastic trim from the door handle, i put enough force on it that i'm scared it might break, any idea if there's a clip that needs undoing on the back?

Does the crank window version work diffrently? I dont wanna break anything, and the panel seems to hold right at the place where the window crank is

Does anyone know how to remove the inside panel behind the driver to change the window motor/regulator? Thanks.

Hello John..many thanks for posting this 'how to video'. I have a 2014 Vauxhall Corsa Ltd Edition & the Nearside Mirror Mount is very loose. I was assuming that I'd need to remove the door card in order to access & tighten the Mirror Mounting Screws from somewhere inside the door ?
Your video shows how to remove the actual door card but after you've removed it I'm unable to see any access holes which may enable me to locate & access the mounting screws to retighten the Door Mirror.
Please would you be so kind to reply & clarify if it's necessary to remove the door card in order to access the Mirror Mounting Screws John ?? Thankyou kindly in advance, appreciated greatly !! 😊👍

To tighten the mirror yo need to remove the mirror cap/trim...the painted side and with i beleve a long 45 torx ,is just one scrue...you need a torch to see it because is hidden and if the are electric you need to move the body to line up with the hole for the scrue...thx for waching sir

@@howtowithjohn581 hello again John & many thanks for your speedy reply 👍.
Just to clarify that the Mirrors on my Corsa arn't the Electric Folding Version but yes they do of course have Electrics for the actual Mirror Glass to move left, right, up & down which is operated by the 4-way keypad thingy on the inner drivers door.
The Mirrors on my Corsa Ltd Edition are folded inwards manually by hand John.
Please could you advise therefore if it's not necessary to remove the inner door-card because you mention something about removing the Mirror Cap to expose the one Torx Screw which secures the mirror & therefore I'm assuming that I remove the full outer plastic mirror housing (cap) & then hopefully the Torx Screw will reveal itself ?
Thanks again John, now subscribed 😊👍

If you want to remove the mirror body you need to remove the door card to have acces to the electric plug...but like you mentioned is just loose and want just to get the bolt tight...only take the outer shell.

@@howtowithjohn581 thankyou again for your advice John & yes that's right I only wish to retighten the door mirror & therefore assume that I only need to remove the door mirror outer cover.
I can see no screws holding this cover in place & so i guess it's necessary to pry it away from the other half of the mirror using a thin pry tool, is that correct John ?
Thankyou & yes I'm already subscribed to your channel 👍😊
