I never force them to go to college etc only wanted them to work get the money for what they needed to start their own thing but they do not respect my wisdom when I was trying to put all of us on I was being met with so much opposition! @@letitiadortch2631 No offense whatsoever, I don’t know anything about you or your family but it kinda sounds like maybe you haven’t really supported their hobbies and interests, or maybe they need some encouragement to further purse those hobbies and interests in hopes of figuring out a way to make a living off them. If they’re 18 and living with you rent free, the least they can do is pay for their own hobbies and interests. It’ll probably be a PITA helping them figuring out something they can realistically make a living off of but it’ll also help build your relationship with them. That alone could get them to want to get a job so that they can just help you out with rent or whatever.

Life is short and tough and there’s no player’s manual. I’m 53 now and if I can add one thing it’s trust your gut feeling always. We were never taught to do that and we tend to 2nd guess ourselves.
