Having the ability to eliminate the need to use a VPN for file access is a gamechanger. With the huge influx of work from home users, a lot of companies have experienced a large increase in latency due to the high number of concurrent connections. Hopefully, this will be useful in eliminating the bottlenecking of VPN networks and allow for a better end-user experience.

You could do this via cloud recording if teachers record their classes. That also makes them available later if you cannot make the class in real time. Note that your IT team would need to give you view permission to recorded classes for this to work.
