Good morning Emily! These plane crashes are heartbreaking losses. It absolutely infuriated me that without knowing any of the facts DEI was presented as the reason for the Washington plane crash. Like you said, in order for someone to be piloting a plane you have to be skilled to do the job. A lot of people think that DEI means giving a job to some just because they fit into a specific population to meet some kind of quota, which is wrong. DEI is in place to ensure that everyone is given an opportunity to apply for a job just like everyone else. And, like you said, DEI allows for accommodations to be put into place so that person is included. DEI doesn’t give a leg up or advantage to someone but instead puts everyone on a level playing field. I really don’t know a ton about politics but have recently tried to stay up to date somewhat. Also, politics typically bore me. And I agree that we all just need a little more kindness towards everyone. Have a great day my friend!! 💜💕💙💜💕💜💜
