Sarah Nenni-Daher U sure wish I could find the Mongolian faux fur. Just can’t find here. Do you know of a website that might sell a small amount , like 1/4 yard? That would go a long way!! I’m in Texas
@@vetalverson7401 Yes I have a link to an Etsy shop I found who stocks and sells it in 1/4 yard!!!! Check the description under the video and go to the Etsy link. She has amazing quality fur.
I happened to have just the cut off fingers from making a fingerless glove for a grandson's Halloween costume, and I had a couple of big acorns that were a gift from another grandson when he was a toddler. The caps had fallen off, and now they have a permanent home. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love your new tutorial on how to make Gnome ornaments! My FAVE Gnome is the one with the tall hat which you bend into a curl! He's adorable!! ~Janet in Canada
Oh my Giddy Aunt! I'll be getting no housework done today now I can binge watch your videos. Today's plan was to make 'A' Gnome but I have a funny feeling I will be gnome all day. Thank you for sharing your creations but my hubby might not be so happy when he has to wait for his tea (that's dinner in USA). 😁
All three are adorable, but the one with the curly hat is my fav. Thanks for sharing this. I've been wanting to make these in a smaller version than the sock size and this was perfect! Thanks again!
Oh, Bonnie, I've made so many different gnome ornaments and yes, the bendy hat one steals my heart. My favorites are still my first ones - they are so much easier than these and pack a gorgeous punch on a tree or package. The ones I mean are here: ruclips.net/video/5jd7ZX3yXLk/видео.html
Wendy Short Thank you so much, Wendy. I hope you get a chance to make these little Christmas gnome ornaments. Or, as a viewer wrote below, even turn one into a pin - I just love that idea. Happy holidays, Wendy.
I have had the same running to 99 cents store dilemma Crystal for more supplies. I keep seeing accents to add on these already adorable gnomes. Such is the wonderful life of crafter, lol 😃
Wow, thank you for such a high compliment, Diana. I hope you'll join us for more. Making Christmas gnomes is SO addicting... Who am I kidding? I make them all year long. LOL
I love what you did with the old gloves. I to have so many of them. Every year I & my family get more gloves or mittens & did know what to do with them so I've been doing gnomes & tape in glove gnomes to see if there was a site for glove gnome & I'm so happy that I seen your web site. Thank you so much of your video. I'm going to make them try to do the something like you had shown on your video.Happy Holiday's
Cherie DeCoto Yes, these are perfect for those missing gloves! And I’ll have to try and see what I can come up with for a mitten gnome. I did make a tiny gnome IN a mitten ornament, but haven’t made one from a mitten... yet. Happy holidays to you and your family, Cherie.
I especially love the one with the y’all, bendable hat!🥰 This was my first time watching your channel so I’ll watch one more of your videos so I can see if i want to subscribe. I am trying not to subscribe to everyone I like based on one video. Thanks for sharing!💕
This is my 1st video and OMG these are soooo cute. You did a wonderful job explaining and now I am a new subbie!!! I am going to make these today!!! TFS...Blessings XoXo
@@SarahNenniDaher I didn't get to make them yet. I am still going to though. I will let you know. You probably can use the leftover material to make more, I don't see why not. XoXo
2:15 Oh my gosh they are already so cute! You may have just saved part of my presents dilemma. See I am disabled and have a dozen grandkids. Even though I am getting a late start I have it stuck in my head that I HAVE TO make a gift for each grandkid. It’s hard for them (& me) to accept that I can’t keep up the same pace as I used to, and I’ve always made them gifts. So I figure I can start by making each of them one small gnome then try and make their bigger gifts. That way if I’m unable to finish them they will at least have something. 😁🥰
Awww, Barbara, that is the sweetest thing you do for the grandkids. Homemade and handmade gifts are so very special. If you hit a snag in making any of my gnomes, you just let me know. I'll help where I can.

Adorbs! 😊❤️ tfs
You can make ear rings out of that
What size beads/wooden balls do you recommend for the noses on these little guys?
These were pretty small, I'd say the same size as a pony bead 1/4 - 1/3 inch (8 mm or so).
Where and what did you look under to find your acorn hats?
I have a couple of oak trees in my yard so they are quite plentiful. If you don't have access to oaks, you can make your own acorn caps from polymer clay or even model magic (would be lighter than polymer).
How do you keep the fur from falling apart? got fur everywhere
You have to cut only the backing. I have a video which details it: ruclips.net/video/-TgXjICQkQY/видео.html
Hi! I'm very funny, I think I'll try to do,but where can I find the beard? Thank you!❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗
Liliana, Check out the description box for where I get the fur (Amazon and Etsy, though some fabric stores have it). You can also use a shaggy fleece for a more streamlined look.
Are these adult gloves or kids
I've used both, actually. The blue and white ones used in this video were kids' gloves from the dollar store.
Love them all
