Fantastic video! i've got a small garment print business based in the UK and i have been considering the roland BY-20 for a while as an alternative to basic transfers (the plastic feel inkjet ones). The majority of my clients require vinyl printing, but there's nothing more annoying than telling a customer you can't fulfill their order due to transfers not being good enough quality or if it's something that vinyl simply couldn't handle. In your opinion would you keep the BY-20 strictly for the DTF prints or interchange with vinyl? ie would using vinyl then film then vinyl etc hurt the machine over time? The offer they currently have on them in the UK is £6999.00/£180.00 per month over 5 years. Sound like a good deal and something that would suit my small business? thanks and sorry for the long message
Great info. Spot on takes. One note, these are both warranty and service pre-requisite eco-systems. If you go prestige and want service or help. You have to be using their approved inks, powders, films. Same with Roland. The downside of this is that while yes, the roland is slightly higher cost the prestige isn't budget ink by any means either. Great machines for newbies with absolutely no DTF or wide-format printing experience! Wonderful first video of the series.

Excellent point! A MUST consideration.
You are trying to say $8,495.00 is a reasonable price for a beginner? No That is not affordable for most.
