Thanks for the suggestion, Steven. This advice is from Gary: "Water - dish brush - dish soap - scrub - drip dry - use." I also passed along your idea.

Any chance you could do a similar video on waterfield's recommended method for leather care? This video is great.

I just got some Martexin to apply to my Waterfield pouch but the wax is pretty solid and not very easy to spread around with my fingers. Did you heat up the tin at all? Do I put a flame under the tin? Place the tin in hot water first? Your help is very much appreciated.

How often should the waxed canvas be rewaxed?

I don't like having to do any maintenance on my bags. Still good to learn for when I have to do this... if I do it...

Hi Simon, This is straight from the manufacturer: "Martexin Original Wax is an environmentally friendly blend of food and pharmaceutical grade waxes, and is completely non-hazardous."

Can I use MUSHERS WAX ? I have it for dog’s paw, but I couldn’t use it.
If not which wax makes really hard stiff on bag ?

Hi, We're not familiar with Mushers Wax. We recommend this one, the original wax used on your WaterField Designs bag, although there are likely others that work as well: www.sfbags.com/products/martexin-original-wax
