I've shopped at Michael's for many years. We all recall when they had the generous 40-50% off coupons that are long gone now. Now it's only 20%. Back in the day, I would purchase more high priced items there on occasion, but only when I could apply that big discount. I know times have changed and they can't offer those big discounts anymore. BUT it would be nice if they extended a bigger discount (30-40%?) on the supplies for people participating in the class. I think that would make things much more attractive for people interested in the class.

Lindsay, love your slightly muted pumpkin still life. I have about a 6 graphitints and some may be suitable for this and I also have a set of 6 Japanese shadow wcs, and some of those may work on this too. Thanks!
Wishing now that I'd gotten the Graphitint over the Derwent Drawing, which I rarely use. At this point, I have the full set of Derwent Inktense and the full set of Albrecht Durer, both sitting museum-like in a drawer.. So maybe I'll whip out one or both of those and see if I can find some duller colors to try for this project. If nothing else, I absolutely love the pumpkin drawing you've done and might try that, at least. Thanks for yet another wonderful demo.
I definitely struggled to keep up during the last Michaels class. I do wish we had the reference photo for the fountain because I didn’t know what some of the parts were that I was trying to paint. The paint splashes made it kinda hard to see in my printed version of your painting. This is gorgeous and I wish I could take this class but have a spine injection that day…
