What I would call a good honest down to earth question and answer about the Volt 4 , will be interesting to see when other manufacturers go down the EN C 2 liner route .
With two liners it is very hard to induce big collapses only with muscle power, bcs of the higher loading on the lines. As such, additional lines are added to the glider during certification by the test pilots, to be able to produce big collapses. These additional lines might change the behavior of the glider during the collapses.

Excellent interview - that went deep, man. Moving parts and interplay, with honest insights from Stephan. Chapeau.
Thanks!
That is so informative and honest, great interview 👍
Can someone please tell me what are ''folding lines'' ? Thanks!

@@libvirtbackup1660 thank you!
Looking forward to some independent reviews and opinions but Stephan seem confident in his wing :)
We've ordered one so we can review it over a bit of time and take it on some cross-country flights
there needs to be EN A 2 liners.
