✅ 2 WAYS to restore a bedside table with and without sanding

In this video we are going to make a comparison of two different methods of restoration, but with similar results, of some bedside tables from the 50s.

Both tables consist of a frame and are covered by wood veneers.
They are in good condition. Only the varnish is bad and one is missing parts of the veneer.
METHOD 1: COMPLETELY SANDING • Como restaurar una mes... We did a rigorous restoration on the first table:
We disassembled it by sanding it completely and this work alone took us almost twenty hours.
Then we repaired the imperfections.
We cleaned the inside with lemon and a brush.
We varnished it completely, inside and outside.
We cleaned the metal parts.
And we mounted it.
In total it was almost thirty hours of work.
METHOD 2 • Como restaurar una mes... : To the second one we removed the varnish with solvent and alcohol.
Like the other one we cleaned the interior with lemon.
We cleaned and repaired the metal parts.
And we varnished it completely, inside and outside.
This process took us about twenty hours of work in total.
