Good morning Almir. Nice to see you always trying to make something work. Looking really good and I am sure you making tons of Contacts across the Pond into Europeanside. Happy Thursday & 73 my Friend. 💯👍🙋♂
Good morning Guenter. Nice to hear from you again! I love to play around with antennas. I was very happy with this one. Happy end week for you my friend & 73 de VE3DAL.
@@VE3DAL Tnx Almir, hope to meet you on air these Days. If the WX stays nice like today I am going to be out in the Fields working Daytime DX on 20,17, 15 and 12m Band. Happy Thanksgiving & 73
I didn't expect the GAA jersey. Nice. There are GAA teams in Ottawa, actually. I'll show you my setup at home sometime (incl. my 6m dipole). Don't worry about the bending too much. The bend is much smaller than a wavelength, so it shouldn't introduce any issues. Drop me a line via QRZ. -Craig
Hi Craig, in 2016 my wife and I went to Irland and that's where I got that jersey. That will be nice look forward. At the moment I will leave the antenna like that it's working perfectly and not worry about the bending. 73 my friend.
Just watched your video and you showing how you mount the MFJ on the bracket. You mention the bottom cap, and was not sure exactly what you meant, but I've seen other videos where hams have a long piece of string on the top section so they can just pull on that to get the top section to come up easily. Perhaps this is not what you were talking about though. I like your bracket! 73.
Thank you Scott! After I bought the 50mm pvc pipe I realized the bottom of MFJ cap is wider than 50mm. That's why I left a little space at the bottom. I'm using only the bottom 5 session of the MFJ which gives me about 20'. 73's de VE3DAL.
Hi John, I was surprised too I have been trying different locations around my place and that location is good. The other day I try the same setup at my driveway and the noise was terrible S5. 73's de VE3DAL.
@@VE3DAL ruclips.net/video/VRMo0_TGSfw/видео.html I propose to consider my version of a car support for the mast. He was installing a seven-meter wooden mast. Unfortunately, the language of the video is Russian.

I'm surprised how good your reception is. Your antenna is parallel to those big power lines less than 100 meters away.

Hello
Very interesting solution for the installation of spider beam mast
Thanks for sharing / 73

Thank you so much Jose! Best 73's de VE3DAL.
You may lack the rigidity of the structure in which the antenna mast is installed.
Yes that's one of the problems with this mast. I may get the Spiderbeam in the future. 73's
