Lloyd Cole + band, 'Jennifer, She Said' @ Barbican, London, 25.1.25

It's hard to believe I booked this show 10 months before it took place. But it brought together beloved Lloyd with my favourite building and place on earth - the Barbican. As a member, I bought a ticket the moment it was on pre-sale so I could be front and centre with my knees bumping the stage and unable to put my glass of wine on the stage.
I'd done well to avoid set list spoilers on this tour but I kind of wish I'd been prepared for the very last song of the encore. It's my song! So I started filming late. But I swooned throughout and never wanted it to end. Listen to how beautiful and crystal clear that sound is. Thank you Barbican for being such a glorious place to see this wonderful band.
I can never get enough of Lloyd and I really hope he continues to play with this band and even make music with them.
