Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

How to do Impressions - An audience lead tutorial series where I attempt to pass on my Impressions knowledge.
Dubs - Comedic dubs of iconic scenes with new dialogue, (My Peaky Blinders and Lord of The Rings dubs have grossed over 6 million views on Facebook)

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on RUclips videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time RUclipsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of RUclips, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

Every line of Boromir is golden
Technically it is the Black Speech on the Ring. The Black Speech didn't have a written alphabet though so he had to use the Elvish letters to write the inscription. In any case, awesome job on the impressions as always!
Why didn’t Sauron just make an alphabet for it?
@@Samuel-vw4yv He probably didn't want to bother. Most of his minions were likely illiterate. He had a hard enough time getting them to speak the Black Speech.
Plus there are lots of languages in our world that use the Latin alphabet rather than inventing their own. I think Tolkien wanted to parallel that and have Elvish Tengwar be the standard alphabet for most Middle-earth languages.
Same prinsiple as english using the latin alphabeth.

Roasting Sauron over the volcano and armour is really funny considering he's a fire spirit. So yeah, he probably is really hot to the touch.
I may be wrong, but I believe you're thinking of Balrogs there. Sauron was a different breed of fallen Maia, uniquely tending towards shape-shifting before Eru Iluvatar got sick of his shit and removed his normal creature body privileges. That armored form is one of the only loopholes, he is allowed to manifest as an edgelord or a hideous creature, just not anything anyone not already in a desperate situation would ever trust.

They probably weren’t too wrong about why Sauron didn’t take his armor off. At that point Sauron had lost the ability to take on an attractive human form. He probably looked like a nightmare.
The fiery ring inscription IS written in the language of Mordor, just using the elvish alphabet. Gandalf told Frodo this in Fellowship…. I guess Gandalf has since forgotten that, preoccupied as he has been with his leg workout routine.

The entirety of Rings of Power is completely inaccurate to the Similarrion - Tolkein 's ACTUAL account of events from the First and Second Age.
It's best to treat Amazon's Series as a very expensive Lotr Fanfiction. It's honestly not much more than that.

Because in the lore Sauron made up Black Speech as a conlang and tried to make his orcs speak it, but they never really learned it, and instead just spoke their own tribal languages with the members of their own tribe and Common Speech to the orcs from other tribes. In the end only the Ringwraiths spoke Black Speech.
