You’re right. Replacing the driver isn’t an easy thing to do. But I can replace them with the upgrade I made on this project. You can see into the part 2 video and on my community section post
Don't need to replace the driver if you dont buy shity speakers. Hence why I only use b&c 21sw152. That takes 4000w and still don't blow considering its only 2000w rms. Only buy tour grade subs.
Ho realizzato tantissime casse anche con woofer da 21 pollici senza mai mettere una sola vite e mai qualcuna che si sia scollata o fessurata nei giunti sicuramente non ho mai lesinato sulla colla l'ultima che ho realizzato e stata il modello a tromba mth con un subwoofer da spl ad alta escursione da 18 pollici ed e spaventosa la pressione che genera avete fatto bene a mettere i tubi di accordo almeno la dinamica e più estesa ed il magnete viene raffreddato almeno c'è ancora qualcuno che spende i soldi per sano divertimento e non tutti sti tossici che stanno crescendo saluti a voi 👍
La colla è essenziale e molto probabilmente basterebbe da sola, hai ragione. Non avendo tanti morsetti abbiamo optato per fissare i pannelli anche con le viti, è stata una questione dì comodità e dì praticità. Grazie per il commento, questa è una gran bella passione!
That’s a good question 😂 this simple project was the first box We built, so after we found the plan online we built it without thinking about the possibility to remove the driver. After years of use we decide to built the bandpass version (check the last video) where we should remove the drivers if necessary

Infatti alla fine ne abbiamo costruiti 4 😅 Un consiglio che mi sento di darti è di fissare il cono con bulloni M6 dotati di dado, controdado e frenafiletti. Se ci monti un cono bello potente rischi che le vibrazioni allentino i dadi, quindi meglio fissarlo definitivamente.

@@igorCOD4ever multistrato fenolico da 18 mm, 21 mm è ancora più massiccio ma pesa parecchio. Purtroppo ti parte un pannello intero per fare un sub come questi, quindi 100 euro in questo caso sono solo di legno

Hi, nice question. To me that amplifier is a good one. I’m not a specialist so this is my opinion based on what I could heard. I use it to run 4 RCF LF18X401 and every time I turn up the volume I almost destroy my house but when I bought that amplifier I was wary. I did not expect that 400€ amplifier could kick so hard. Anyway I don’t know how it works with reflex subwoofers, I tested only with the wbin enclosure

This design of this bin is similar to 80s Jbl . I have build 8 bins with little modificans port and easy loading . Long throw lows. Ask old timers for more infor. 😢
I think they are similar to the SB115. This midbass horn push very hard 😂😂 but they don’t achieve a very low frequencies so they must beh matched with a bandpass subwoofer or simile reflex subwoofer.
Le mhb a été conçu par Marc o pour le g401 effectivement mais niveau ampli de behringer fait mieux de le proline pour 4 subs les miens tournent super bien avec le behringer mon pote avec son proline n'est pas au même niveau quand il s'agit d'alimenter 4 subs 👌

In the next video I showed that. We made two ports on the rear side where we can reach the driver and then replace it from the front panel (the panel with the reflex ports is removable, so through the “hole” the driver passes.
I use the Behringer NX6000. It runs the 2 drivers in parallel mode at 4 ohm. I got 4 subs so the amplifier runs two pairs of driver at 3000W RMS per channel.

Non ricordo quanti metri quadri siano a wbin, però ho utilizzato due pannelli commerciali a subwoofer. Li ho trovati in una falegnameria vicino casa, però sono parecchio cari. Stiamo sui 100 € a pannello

Noi avevamo già utilizzato questo progetto per altri due subwoofer con dei driver meno potenti e non avevamo mai avuto problemi, solo che questa volta i bulloni che tenevano il cono si sono allentati e siamo stati costretti ad aprire “tagliando”. Però abbiamo risolto il tutto creando due porte con due piastre in acciaio. Adesso all’occorrenza possiamo aprire e anche cambiare il driver
I think that calling it SUBWOOFER is more understandable for who don’t know anything about it. But I agree with you and I think I’ll build some bandpass subwoofer to achieve the lowest frequencies that I cannot reach with the wbins
That driver is way too close to the back of the box it's not gonna really feel powerful instead of having the tubes at the front you should've had more space between the front of the driver and the back of the box and put the tubes on the inside it would be much more powerful than this design

Reminds me of rla bass bins only they were 5 ft by 3 1/2 and the woofer was turned the opposite way.
You can get more bass if you let your pvc ports stick outside the box , you want the port as far away from the driver/sub
👍I have never seen a horn-loaded subwoofer with reflex ports in it.

What people do instead is throw horns in there to create a full range box..

We used 18mm plywood. It works well but the 21mm is the best choice in terms of strenght.

Mhb4818 is not compatible mith x401, use a lf18g401 also nx6000 is poo use a proline 3000 if you want a cheap great amp. / French soundsystem
All the system sounds great and it’s very powerful, so I'm satisfied with all the drivers and the amps. Soon I’m uploading the sound check
