I watched so many videos about explaining God and reasons to believe in him. I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember, but I began to question the existence of God and why I believe in him. In the videos I start seeing atheist arguments make sense and Christian arguements seem less comvincing. I struggle with myself to define and defend my Faith. I am talking to God to help me be closer. Thanks to anyone that read this comment and now knows what is on my mind

i already gave my life to lord jesus, i just had doubts, cuz i saw isaiahs video saying the sinner prayer does not save you, i've prayed this prayer with all of my heart, i was crying cuz i thought i wasn't saved, but now i know that im saved, i've prayed this, and really gave my life to the lord, i know that the prayer doesn't save you, you gotta follow lord jesus, have a relationship with him, do the will of the father, do the works of jesus and of the father, Thank you!
1:20 - I noticed that when Christians talk about doubt and questioning, it still has to be within the box of Christian teaching, which means it's not real freedom to reason(nor real doubt). It is only within the bounds of faith bias that the bible is the only source. I had to put my bible glasses away to really come up with real questions. And if there's an answer to a question that hasn't been sufficient, then you withhold belief until there's evidence to warrant belief. If there's no explanation, you don't just assume the answer.

I would suggest to begin a serious study of Biblical apologetics. Read "Evidence that demands a verdict" and similar materials. Seek out good apologetics ministries. When you see it all laid out, the overwhelming evidence for Christ and the Bible, you will come to a place where you never really have a reason to doubt. Most Christians don't really understand how fact based our faith is and how much the evidence screams at us when we really examine it. Most churches today teach who and what Jesus and the Gospel are, but they don;t spend much time on WHY we should believe in Him over any other faith. So most don't realize the mountain of evidence, fact and proof our faith stand on.

If its just a man made book, how did it know Israel would reject Jesus and crucify Him? Who makes up a religion where all your people end up in hell but billions of foreigners go to heaven instead? NO ONE makes up a religion like that. The fact that Christianity became a religion outside of the Jews did not just randomly happen, the entire thing was foretold in the OT long before Jesus was ever born. How is it that for 1500 years before His Birth, all 7 Jewish feast in the OT law so clearly pointed to Jesus and the Gospel? Are you even aware of the 7 feast of the Lord and how impossible it is that they foretold of Christ and what followed? The entire Jewish life and year was based on those 7 holy feast days for 1500 years. How is it that the Passover alone so clearly symbolized Christ as the Lamb of God and Him calling His people out of the world 1500 years before His Birth? Why are all these totally impossible facts we can point to and illustrate unique to one and only one religion in the whole world? There is no other religion or book on earth that has this one ultimate design and thread of TOTALLY impossible evidence from beginning to end.....and spread out over thousands of years. This is totally unique to the Bible alone. And I did not even go in to the impossible fulfillment of modern Israel 2000 years after it was totally destroyed. What other nation has ever returned 2000 years after its total destruction. What other people have even survived and come back as a people 2000 years after they were scattered across the whole earth? There is none. There is no nation and no people where this has ever happened but this one. And with the whole thing written 2500+ years ahead of time? If its just a man made book, how is all this true, AND this one man is how time is divided on the earth, and this is the most famous man who ever lived? Again I am only scratching the surface here. These things are TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE in a fake man made book.
You have no idea how much I need this, I'm a new born again Christian this year and on my own with no guidance, in a small village (* apart from God) but I suffer with mental illness and felt I've done something wrong, or thought something wrong. I was crying earlier this morning because I was so stressed with my studies. I woke up so early to finish my script for the reporting and I was crying because of stress and I was doubting myself if I could even do the reporting. I decided to pray and kneel down before the Lord. However, when I was in the middle of asking for wisdom, my mom walked in and I decided to lock the door and then she knocked. She asked me what was wrong and I said “Ma, I’m so stressed, can we pray?”. We decided to pray thank God and ask for His forgiveness and then we asked for His guidance and wisdom. After that we ate, I was deeply thinking and my mom taught that I was thinking about and said “Give it to God”. So I did, every time a though of doubt came to mind, I would shake my head to take it out and rebuke it. And then, 18 minutes before my class, I decided to pray and then suddenly we received a message from my teacher and said that we have no classes! Seriously tho, if we continue to fight doubt and know God can, He can. I felt my faith strengthen from this. God is alive!
I can strongly relate. My only source of stress and sadness is school. My friends, my studies, and myself are my top 3 problems. And they are all because of school. My mental state is ruined because of that. I cry almost every evening, dreading the thought that tomorrow will be another day to suffer. That is, when I'm in doubt. When I'm in doubt, I find it hard to trust God's plan for me. When things don't go the way I wanted it to be, I forget to remind myself that it's the way God wants it to be and his plan is the best plan. It's a constant struggle, yet I still solve all of these by praying. They may not be completely solved but I prayed and I know he hears me.
@Luna The amount of times that this exact sort of thing has happened with me. God has us. I repeatedly have to tell myself that academics is not where my value lies, if God says trust I must trust. Easier said than done, and there’s been times where I worry and worry and worry over whether or not I’ll be able to succeed, only to have a prof cancel at the PERFECT time for me. Trust the Lord. Rest in him. Our help comes from him.❤️💪
You have no idea HOW BAD I needed this video. I struggle with doubts from time to time. I always chalked it up as spiritual warfare and weekness. Was always afraid if I show doubt, Jesus will say to me "Depart from me, for I dont know you." I STRIVE to show God my love, but sometimes my doubts creep in and wonder if he hears me. I DO send my concerns to God. Ill be honest....he answered me in one way or another and NEVER given up on me. God sent this video my way, that I dont doubt. Ive been praying on this for weeks. God is so wonderful. No words to describe it.

You're not alone I've been experiencing doubt too. I've prayed for forgiveness recently and I also have been afraid of hearing the Lord say the same thing. I'm lucky to have a good friend to talk to about it though.

Sometimes I have doubt about my faith in Hinduism but then I pray to Vishnu and my doubt goes away. I am so confident in my beliefs. How could me and 900 million other people who believe in Hinduism and were raised with Hinduism be wrong?
Sometimes I have doubt about the Ancient Greek Gods that I worship but then I remember that Zeus will smite me or whatever if I think that so I stop having doubts. It’s pretty silly to think that an entire society of people worshipped these gods. But when you look around the world and study history it is pretty easy to tell that it is human nature to invent religions in order to explain what they don’t understand. Most of the world isn’t even Christian and most Christians don’t fit each other's standards of being Christian. It is arrogant to think that the religion you were born into is the correct one. You wouldn’t dare travel to the other side of the world and tell people of other faiths that their whole entire lives they have been lied to and worshipping a false story. But of course they are….and so are you.
I've been avoiding this video for 2 whole weeks since it popped up in my recommended. I was scared of what I was going to listen to. But, after getting a bit of courage to view it, I can very proudly say that I've already been doing the last 2: getting answers and finding someone who relates and to talk to. The first part came to me as a surprise, because, yeah, I thought doubting was a bad thing. My mom always said, "God gave us a brain for a reason." But it's hard to believe when you're surrounded by people who shame you for doubting even for a little bit - who promotes blind faith 100% of the time. Your video made me realize that doubting was just a part of the process, that having a conversation with God is like trying to clear miscommunications and understandings with your friends or family. Question Everything. It will set you free. There is no reason to fear that you could be wrong about your faith. It's a scary thought. But truth will set you free. Blindly following faith is how you skip steps in knowing what and why you believe. I am an exchristian. But I will not encourage you to leave christianity. Only for you to figure out what and why you believe Faith is not a gateway to truth.

Do not listen to the comment about the Quran. It is okay to doubt, but DONT damage your faith on the purpose. Go to God, talk to him sincerely, and he will understand. Jesus is God, the Father is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. Jesus said unto him, “Have I been so long a time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? Meditating on this brings a comforting feeling to me. We are not alone or the first to realize that there is no other place to go than to Jesus.
Can someone please pray for me? I’ve been feeling lost, struggling with joy, distant from God and doubting if he really loves me. I want to have faith and grow in our relationship, but in order to do that I have to let go of someone so dear to me and I can’t imagine losing them and it brings me great sadness just thinking about it.

“Doubt leads to deeper faith” I don’t know exactly who said this but Greg Laurie mentioned it in a sermon of his and I felt an immense amount of relief from this quote. I often struggle with so much doubt and I hate it and I get so confused. But there’s always some optimism and hope in me that God will use it for good in the future and that, soon, I will have breakthrough in being even more secure in His truth than I was before, had I not gone through the doubt.

Jesus payed for our sins with his death on the cross. It's through faith in jesus that we are saved. Not through acts. Just believe in jesus christ and you can overcome anything.

Hi Bree-Rose, I just wanted to encourage you and second your pastor, God does hear you. I've often felt like I don't deserve for my prayers to be heard, and the truth is that on my own, I don't deserve it. But because Jesus died for me and I stand in His righteousness, when God sees me, He sees the pure and beautiful righteousness of Jesus, not my sin. I learned that that's why we pray in Jesus' name. God does hear you, and He loves to hear from you, just as He loves to hear from His Son, because we are /in/ His Son, Jesus Christ. His grace is so good, and that's entirely dependent on His good character and His love for you. He loves you so much ♥

This video is exactly what I need in my life right now! The first step is always the hardest, and I'm struggling to follow it because faith seems to be the only thing I can hold on to. My daily routine at the factory is grueling. I spend 10 long hours working on ancient machines that have seen better days. Lately, I feel disconnected from my coworkers and I'm struggling to find my place. Every day feels like an eternity, especially since these problems have been affecting three machines at a time since March. It's frustrating to face criticism and difficult problems with no clear answers. But even in the face of these hardships, I'm determined to hold on to my faith and persevere.

I'm not sure exactly what you are going through, but I wonder if you could make some encouraging Bible verses and place them on 3 x5 cards and stick them in a pocket and be able to look at them during your work days. I know that you work long hours and I will definitely pray for you. I wonder if you could stick those cards on a part of your tools or tool box and quietly say them under your breath while you are working. You might be able to memorize Bible verses during your work days. I'm not sure if that works or not but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. You have a friend in me who lives in Kingston Ontario Canada.

I must be honest, I’ve had my fair share of doubts in the past and occasionally struggle with a passing thought would happen after taking my faith in Jesus Christ and the Word of God more seriously, though I’m ashamed to admit the brief doubts. I do know, however, this world is wicked and the immoral will say anything to get you to not believe and will say anything to justify what detestable things they do, for if they can claim “God doesn’t exist” in their heads, they can do anything. No matter what, I must remember always that Jesus has conquered death and sin, not just for my sake but for all mankind for He loved us more than anything. Just knowing that evil people wouldn’t do such a noble and holy thing for anyone gives me ever more faith in Christ my Lord and Savior everyday. Praise be to the Lord Almighty and may He help those who have doubt in their hearts that He may strengthen them in Jesus’ name. God bless you.

A very bad thing happened to me, I was the victim of harassment.... Since then I feel like my faith in God has weakened.... I got really scared wondering why this happened ... I love singing in my church but I ended up putting it aside because I feel very emotionally fragile...I really want God to console me and give me new courage to continue the walk.

Thank you for this! Doubt is always so difficult, and this past day or so it's hit me out of nowhere. Nothing has happened to me that's caused it, it's just happened. All logic and previous experience tells me the truth but I still find room to doubt. But in the name of Jesus I cast out doubts, and bring all my problems to him at his feet. Jesus has never failed to help my unbelief, no, not ever. Praise our Lord, our God, and our King: Jesus Christ!

I lost my little boy about 40 years ago. I can tell you that God has walked by my side. During this time, I have been able to speak to many people who have lost their children. I tell them the truth, it is the worst pain you will ever feel. And it just doesn’t go away. But when you draw close to Jesus, you feel his peace and you were able to go another day. I will tell you that after a few years, I felt peace and joy Whenever I got in the presence of God. Just take it a day at a time.
I'm not Christian, but I really like this video. I've had a lot of Christian friends scared about doubting their religion and all the sorts, doubt is normal, it's what makes us human and faith isn't something that is just to be blindly followed. Pray, and read the Bible. These are the two biggest actions to take if you're seriously in doubt. My new found faith is firm, and I find great comfort in reading the Bible (Old and New Testament), because the Word of God is what I find solace in. When I pray and speak with God, I know He is listening and is always going to raise me up when I fall.

I love my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially when they are doubting the faith. As an ex muslim and convert to Catholicism, I have been through lot of doubt and struggling. Also the great struggle between me and family. I am condemned forever by the community, but I never felt the ease with Christ which I never had that before in my previous religion. Probably God wants me to be the online testimony to carry cross together with people here online. I am too afraid to speak up publicly, still building foundation for my strong faith. Doubt is normal. Be surrounded by good brothers and sisters in Christ. Their prayers help build us stronger in this doubt. God bless you all.

This is incredible. The past couple of weeks I’ve really been struggling with a lot of doubts that have felt like they’ve been shaking my foundation. and I’ve still been debating on if I should share them with someone but was hesitant because I’ve always felt like sharing my doubts means I’m weak and would look disgraced upon by others. I’ve been praying to God asking him what I should do, and I still am not the most sure but this video definitely feels like a sign that he knows and hears me. I would suggest to begin a serious study of Biblical apologetics. Read "Evidence that demands a verdict" and similar materials. Seek out good apologetics ministries. When you see it all laid out, the overwhelming evidence for Christ and the Bible, you will come to a place where you never really have a reason to doubt. Most Christians don't really understand how fact based our faith is and how much the evidence screams at us when we really examine it. Most churches today teach who and what Jesus and the Gospel are, but they don;t spend much time on WHY we should believe in Him over any other faith. So most don't realize the mountain of evidence, fact and proof our faith stand on. You will soon come to place where you never doubt again.

I was a muslim prior coming to Christ, so of course I was taught alot of things about Islam and how Allah is the greatest. Even as a Christian, I occasionally struggle to have some of the muslim prayers still stuck in my head. I get fearful, what if I blaspheme against the Lord when I do such things? Am I even a christian?!?! What if I made the biggest mistake??? But I always ask God for help and forgiveness. I keep my Bible close to me and the Word of God always reminds me of what God said. That He will help me, He will uphold me, He will strengthen me, He will not forsake me. Those words reminds me that The Lord alone is worthy of praise because no other god in any other religion is willing to help their creation with such deep profound love to point of death.

Such an important lesson I have an atheist friend after years of try to talk to him his doubts start sparking doubts in my self and in my last inch of faith was fading I asked God to show me he was real and I feel he had me look at isreal archeology and history and as my question were answered my faith returned and feels almost unshakable

I've also been struggling with lots of doubts recently and it's made me feel so guilty. 😭💔 I was always one those good, strong, faithful Christian people who never strayed and I never thought I would be among those miserably struggling with doubts, but it happened to me too, and yeah I've had so much guilt. I felt so much pressure too and fear to open up about my feelings bc I could just imagine all of these people at church telling me "Oh wow....I never thought YOU would have doubts" and being so dissappointed in me. I really appreciate this video's loving and compassionate approach to addressing doubts. I didn't think about so many of these scriptures or examples from these stories in the Bible that should have comforted me in this time of need. Instead I thought of a bunch of rebuking verses and just felt horrible. 😞 I'd like to add another comforting verse: James 1:5 which says that we can ask God anything and He won't reprimand us for it. He is always there and ready to help us with our concerns. 💛🙏✨ Also, I was listening to a musical presentation called Lamb of God about Jesus' teachings and life on earth and the spirit of God was so strong in that whole presentation that I constantly struggling not to cry. That was also comforting bc God allowed me to feel that, He gave that to me when He knew I needed reassurance of His presence and His love. That was evidence to me that He wasn't so upset with me like I assumed He was, but rather that He understood, cared and wanted to help me. As suggested at the end of this video, the more I come to feel and trust in God's love, the more I feel I can overcome any doubts. Thanks so much for this video!!! God Bless you for this! I have chronic anxiety and that has seeped through into my faith. I am saved, have been a Christian my entire life and these thoughts have never popped up until recently. I've been on the cycle of growing in my faith, dealing with challenges with have distracted my focus; however, I've been able to handle these hardships better and have sought out God and tried to learn/grow my faith, which is when these thoughts pop up. These thoughts have no basis in reality, just pure anxiety of "what if God doesn't exist" (this type of worrying has crippled me at times, but has never been related to my faith until now). In turn, I feel guilty for having these thoughts and it has caused me to question my own salvation. I *know* this is either the Devil trying to decieve me as there is a noticeable pattern of me drawing closer to God and life throwing me curve balls - or God calling me into a new season of my faith and life, it's just these thoughts keep popping up and it's quite terrifying. Thank you so much for this! I pray that everyone dealing with these intrusive thoughts finds peace and comfort and can rest easy. God Bless you all.
I’ll be praying for you! Thought I was the only one but you described it exactly. These intrusive thoughts have no logic they just flood the mind and scare you. And it always happens when you’ve gotten closer to God. It’s scary and it makes no sense. It makes our brains foggy and makes it hard to have reasoning. It’s hard to find out where these thoughts and doubts are coming from because usually there’s something in life that goes wrong like a bad day or a loved one dying that causes us to be made at God and have doubts, but there’s no real reason that I know of as to why these doubts are coming into mind. That’s what makes these doubts scary. Having others pray for you can be very beneficial especially knowing that a righteous friend is praying for you knowing God hears the prayers of the righteous!
Something that helps me is to realize those thoughts are from the devil, God knows that. As is says in psalms, “call on me on the day of trouble, and I will deliver thee, and you will glorify me”
Well I was abused for idk 10 years was badly abused by my mom, depression, anxiety, porn addiction. Well it turned good like today, I find out my mom changed(long time ago actually and I couldn't tell) and I started to fast like 10 days~ ago(a meal a day) and it worked out greatly, all problems r gone, I can share the gospels again, I can love people again and I gave up all my pride. 4:00 I am in Japan. I had a Japanese friend ask why I am Christian and why I chose it over other religions. I unfortunately could only give a half baked answer because we were at a social gathering and it wasn’t the right place for a deep conversation. I am kicking myself for not having a better answer for the moment.
I’ve struggled (and still struggle) with doubt for much of my life. From what I’ve seen, if you let that doubt push you to search for answers, it will make you stronger and more discerning.
Doubt made me really look into some tough questions like my assumptions and questioning those assumptions. Questioning the actual evidence of what the Christian faith hinges it's beliefs on like the resurrection. I found the resurrection to be foudationed in very weak evidence the more I look into it and other claims in the bible.
Wow… this video came at the right time. I’ve been doubting for over a year now, and it’s really had me in a hold. It had me from crying, to scared, to numb in a short time span. I always look down on doubt, but this video taught me that it can be a learning experience, and draw me closer to Christ. I’ve also been thinking for months now that I should discuss this with my pastor, but ive been so nervous to do so. I don’t know why, but I keep holding back. @@Eruore i understand you, and its normal. On our walk with God we gi through some seasons where God is distant and it seems like he is not there, but trust me, HE IS THERE WITH YOU. God allows us to go through these difficult times because he is just testing us to see if we will remain with him. Or it can be for other reasons, but allways remember that he is with you and the only thing you have to do is keep seeking him. It may be hard but don't give up, it doesn't last forever. He will reveal himself to you. At the end you will see that your faith got stronger and you will get to feel God's peace and joy again. There's a big blessing after difficult times. If I have doubt, those times come from fear of the unknown. It helps me to spend time in worship every day. Worship for me is a daily devotional every morning. Maybe a faith based book. Music, worship music is not the same as it used to be. Spend 30 minutes to an hour a day in some combination of these. Favorite Christian author, Max Lucado. His books are easy to read, inspirational, and motivating. Worship music, Crowder, Zach Williams, and We the Kingdom. When you find yourself enjoying these times, understand that it is not the beat of the music or the words on the page, that is drawing you to it, it is God's love. God is pulling on your heart in your time of worship not the music.

I watched so many videos about explaining God and reasons to believe in him. I have been a Christian for as long as I can remember, but I began to question the existence of God and why I believe in him. 1:20 - I noticed that when Christians talk about doubt and questioning, it still has to be within the box of Christian teaching, which means it's not real freedom to reason(nor real doubt). It is only within the bounds of faith bias that the bible is the only source. I had to put my bible glasses away to really come up with real questions. And if there's an answer to a question that hasn't been sufficient, then you withhold belief until there's evidence to warrant belief. If there's no explanation, you don't just assume the answer.

If its just a man made book, how did it know Israel would reject Jesus and crucify Him? Who makes up a religion where all your people end up in hell but billions of foreigners go to heaven instead? NO ONE makes up a religion like that.
The fact that Christianity became a religion outside of the Jews did not just randomly happen, the entire thing was foretold in the OT long before Jesus was ever born.
How is it that for 1500 years before His Birth, all 7 Jewish feast in the OT law so clearly pointed to Jesus and the Gospel? Are you even aware of the 7 feast of the Lord and how impossible it is that they foretold of Christ and what followed? The entire Jewish life and year was based on those 7 holy feast days for 1500 years. How is it that the Passover alone so clearly symbolized Christ as the Lamb of God and Him calling His people out of the world 1500 years before His Birth?
Why are all these totally impossible facts we can point to and illustrate unique to one and only one religion in the whole world? There is no other religion or book on earth that has this one ultimate design and thread of TOTALLY impossible evidence from beginning to end.....and spread out over thousands of years. This is totally unique to the Bible alone.
And I did not even go in to the impossible fulfillment of modern Israel 2000 years after it was totally destroyed. What other nation has ever returned 2000 years after its total destruction. What other people have even survived and come back as a people 2000 years after they were scattered across the whole earth? There is none. There is no nation and no people where this has ever happened but this one. And with the whole thing written 2500+ years ahead of time?
If its just a man made book, how is all this true, AND this one man is how time is divided on the earth, and this is the most famous man who ever lived?
Again I am only scratching the surface here.
These things are TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE in a fake man made book.

I was crying earlier this morning because I was so stressed with my studies. I woke up so early to finish my script for the reporting and I was crying because of stress and I was doubting myself if I could even do the reporting. I decided to pray and kneel down before the Lord. However, when I was in the middle of asking for wisdom, my mom walked in and I decided to lock the door and then she knocked. She asked me what was wrong and I said “Ma, I’m so stressed, can we pray?”. We decided to pray thank God and ask for His forgiveness and then we asked for His guidance and wisdom. After that we ate, I was deeply thinking and my mom taught that I was thinking about and said “Give it to God”. So I did, every time a though of doubt came to mind, I would shake my head to take it out and rebuke it. And then, 18 minutes before my class, I decided to pray and then suddenly we received a message from my teacher and said that we have no classes! Seriously tho, if we continue to fight doubt and know God can, He can. I felt my faith strengthen from this. God is alive!
I can strongly relate. My only source of stress and sadness is school. My friends, my studies, and myself are my top 3 problems. And they are all because of school. My mental state is ruined because of that. I cry almost every evening, dreading the thought that tomorrow will be another day to suffer. That is, when I'm in doubt. When I'm in doubt, I find it hard to trust God's plan for me. When things don't go the way I wanted it to be, I forget to remind myself that it's the way God wants it to be and his plan is the best plan. It's a constant struggle, yet I still solve all of these by praying. They may not be completely solved but I prayed and I know he hears me.

You have no idea HOW BAD I needed this video. I struggle with doubts from time to time. I always chalked it up as spiritual warfare and weekness. Was always afraid if I show doubt, Jesus will say to me "Depart from me, for I dont know you." I STRIVE to show God my love, but sometimes my doubts creep in and wonder if he hears me. I DO send my concerns to God. Ill be honest....he answered me in one way or another and NEVER given up on me.

Sometimes I have doubt about my faith in Hinduism but then I pray to Vishnu and my doubt goes away. I am so confident in my beliefs. How could me and 900 million other people who believe in Hinduism and were raised with Hinduism be wrong?
Sometimes I have doubt about the Ancient Greek Gods that I worship but then I remember that Zeus will smite me or whatever if I think that so I stop having doubts. It’s pretty silly to think that an entire society of people worshipped these gods. But when you look around the world and study history it is pretty easy to tell that it is human nature to invent religions in order to explain what they don’t understand. Most of the world isn’t even Christian and most Christians don’t fit each other's standards of being Christian. It is arrogant to think that the religion you were born into is the correct one. You wouldn’t dare travel to the other side of the world and tell people of other faiths that their whole entire lives they have been lied to and worshipping a false story. But of course they are….and so are you.
I've been avoiding this video for 2 whole weeks since it popped up in my recommended. I was scared of what I was going to listen to. But, after getting a bit of courage to view it, I can very proudly say that I've already been doing the last 2: getting answers and finding someone who relates and to talk to.
The first part came to me as a surprise, because, yeah, I thought doubting was a bad thing. My mom always said, "God gave us a brain for a reason." But it's hard to believe when you're surrounded by people who shame you for doubting even for a little bit - who promotes blind faith 100% of the time.
Your video made me realize that doubting was just a part of the process, that having a conversation with God is like trying to clear miscommunications and understandings with your friends or family. And once all is cleared, your faith becomes a little bit stronger than before.

Do not listen to the comment about the Quran. It is okay to doubt, but DONT damage your faith on the purpose. Go to God, talk to him sincerely, and he will understand. Meditating on this brings a comforting feeling to me. We are not alone or the first to realize that there is no other place to go than to Jesus.

Can someone please pray for me? I’ve been feeling lost, struggling with joy, distant from God and doubting if he really loves me. I don’t know exactly who said this but Greg Laurie mentioned it in a sermon of his and I felt an immense amount of relief from this quote. I often struggle with so much doubt and I hate it and I get so confused. But there’s always some optimism and hope in me that God will use it for good in the future and that, soon, I will have breakthrough in being even more secure in His truth than I was before, had I not gone through the doubt.

I've often felt like I don't deserve for my prayers to be heard, and the truth is that on my own, I don't deserve it. But because Jesus died for me and I stand in His righteousness, when God sees me, He sees the pure and beautiful righteousness of Jesus, not my sin. I learned that that's why we pray in Jesus' name. God does hear you, and He loves to hear from you, just as He loves to hear from His Son, because we are /in/ His Son, Jesus Christ. His grace is so good, and that's entirely dependent on His good character and His love for you. He loves you so much ♥

My daily routine at the factory is grueling. I spend 10 long hours working on ancient machines that have seen better days. Lately, I feel disconnected from my coworkers and I'm struggling to find my place. Every day feels like an eternity, especially since these problems have been affecting three machines at a time since March. It's frustrating to face criticism and difficult problems with no clear answers. But even in the face of these hardships, I'm determined to hold on to my faith and persevere.

I'm not sure exactly what you are going through, but I wonder if you could make some encouraging Bible verses and place them on 3 x5 cards and stick them in a pocket and be able to look at them during your work days. I know that you work long hours and I will definitely pray for you. I wonder if you could stick those cards on a part of your tools or tool box and quietly say them under your breath while you are working. You might be able to memorize Bible verses during your work days. I'm not sure if that works or not but I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. You have a friend in me who lives in Kingston Ontario Canada.

I must be honest, I’ve had my fair share of doubts in the past and occasionally struggle with a passing thought would happen after taking my faith in Jesus Christ and the Word of God more seriously, though I’m ashamed to admit the brief doubts. I do know, however, this world is wicked and the immoral will say anything to get you to not believe and will say anything to justify what detestable things they do, for if they can claim “God doesn’t exist” in their heads, they can do anything. No matter what, I must remember always that Jesus has conquered death and sin, not just for my sake but for all mankind for He loved us more than anything. Just knowing that evil people wouldn’t do such a noble and holy thing for anyone gives me ever more faith in Christ my Lord and Savior everyday. Praise be to the Lord Almighty and may He help those who have doubt in their hearts that He may strengthen them in Jesus’ name. God bless you.

A very bad thing happened to me, I was the victim of harassment.... Since then I feel like my faith in God has weakened.... I got really scared wondering why this happened ... I love singing in my church but I ended up putting it aside because I feel very emotionally fragile...I really want God to console me and give me new courage to continue the walk.

Thank you for this! Doubt is always so difficult, and this past day or so it's hit me out of nowhere. Nothing has happened to me that's caused it, it's just happened. All logic and previous experience tells me the truth but I still find room to doubt. But in the name of Jesus I cast out doubts, and bring all my problems to him at his feet. I lost my little boy about 40 years ago. I can tell you that God has walked by my side. During this time, I have been able to speak to many people who have lost their children. I tell them the truth, it is the worst pain you will ever feel. And it just doesn’t go away. But when you draw close to Jesus, you feel his peace and you were able to go another day. I will tell you that after a few years, I felt peace and joy Whenever I got in the presence of God. Just take it a day at a time.

Pray, and read the Bible. These are the two biggest actions to take if you're seriously in doubt. My new found faith is firm, and I find great comfort in reading the Bible (Old and New Testament), because the Word of God is what I find solace in. When I pray and speak with God, I know He is listening and is always going to raise me up when I fall.

I had an opportunity to go through training and be placed at a large bank but now they are under a hiring freeze so the program is over for me. I love my brothers and sisters in Christ, especially when they are doubting the faith. As an ex muslim and convert to Catholicism, I have been through lot of doubt and struggling. Also the great struggle between me and family. I am condemned forever by the community, but I never felt the ease with Christ which I never had that before in my previous religion.
Probably God wants me to be the online testimony to carry cross together with people here online. I am too afraid to speak up publicly, still building foundation for my strong faith.
Doubt is normal. Be surrounded by good brothers and sisters in Christ. Their prayers help build us stronger in this doubt.

This is incredible. The past couple of weeks I’ve really been struggling with a lot of doubts that have felt like they’ve been shaking my foundation. and I’ve still been debating on if I should share them with someone but was hesitant because I’ve always felt like sharing my doubts means I’m weak and would look disgraced upon by others. I’ve been praying to God asking him what I should do, and I still am not the most sure but this video definitely feels like a sign that he knows and hears me. I would suggest to begin a serious study of Biblical apologetics. Read "Evidence that demands a verdict" and similar materials. Seek out good apologetics ministries. When you see it all laid out, the overwhelming evidence for Christ and the Bible, you will come to a place where you never really have a reason to doubt. Most Christians don't really understand how fact based our faith is and how much the evidence screams at us when we really examine it. Most churches today teach who and what Jesus and the Gospel are, but they don;t spend much time on WHY we should believe in Him over any other faith. So most don't realize the mountain of evidence, fact and proof our faith stand on. You will soon come to place where you never doubt again.

I was a muslim prior coming to Christ, so of course I was taught alot of things about Islam and how Allah is the greatest. Even as a Christian, I occasionally struggle to have some of the muslim prayers still stuck in my head. I get fearful, what if I blaspheme against the Lord when I do such things? Am I even a christian?!?! What if I made the biggest mistake??? But I always ask God for help and forgiveness. I keep my Bible close to me and the Word of God always reminds me of what God said. Such an important lesson I have an atheist friend after years of try to talk to him his doubts start sparking doubts in my self and in my last inch of faith was fading I asked God to show me he was real and I feel he had me look at isreal archeology and history and as my question were answered my faith returned and feels almost unshakable

I've also been struggling with lots of doubts recently and it's made me feel so guilty. 😭💔 I was always one those good, strong, faithful Christian people who never strayed and I never thought I would be among those miserably struggling with doubts, but it happened to me too, and yeah I've had so much guilt. I felt so much pressure too and fear to open up about my feelings bc I could just imagine all of these people at church telling me "Oh wow....I never thought YOU would have doubts" and being so dissappointed in me. I really appreciate this video's loving and compassionate approach to addressing doubts. I didn't think about so many of these scriptures or examples from these stories in the Bible that should have comforted me in this time of need. Instead I thought of a bunch of rebuking verses and just felt horrible. 😞 I'd like to add another comforting verse: James 1:5 which says that we can ask God anything and He won't reprimand us for it. He is always there and ready to help us with our concerns. 💛🙏✨ Also, I was listening to a musical presentation called Lamb of God about Jesus' teachings and life on earth and the spirit of God was so strong in that whole presentation that I constantly struggling not to cry. That was also comforting bc God allowed me to feel that, He gave that to me when He knew I needed reassurance of His presence and His love. That was evidence to me that He wasn't so upset with me like I assumed He was, but rather that He understood, cared and wanted to help me. As suggested at the end of this video, the more I come to feel and trust in God's love, the more I feel I can overcome any doubts. Thanks so much for this video!!! @bbab664 No, I cannot do whatever I want. I must still deny my sinful desires and strive to act as God has commanded in all ways. Jesus died so I could be FORGIVEN because nothing I could ever do would truly atone for any of my sins. I still must try to avoid sinning at all costs.

God Bless you for this! I have chronic anxiety and that has seeped through into my faith. I am saved, have been a Christian my entire life and these thoughts have never popped up until recently. I've been on the cycle of growing in my faith, dealing with challenges with have distracted my focus; however, I've been able to handle these hardships better and have sought out God and tried to learn/grow my faith, which is when these thoughts pop up.
These thoughts have no basis in reality, just pure anxiety of "what if God doesn't exist" (this type of worrying has crippled me at times, but has never been related to my faith until now).
In turn, I feel guilty for having these thoughts and it has caused me to question my own salvation. I *know* this is either the Devil trying to decieve me as there is a noticeable pattern of me drawing closer to God and life throwing me curve balls - or God calling me into a new season of my faith and life, it's just these thoughts keep popping up and it's quite terrifying.

I’ll be praying for you! Thought I was the only one but you described it exactly. These intrusive thoughts have no logic they just flood the mind and scare you. And it always happens when you’ve gotten closer to God. It’s scary and it makes no sense. It makes our brains foggy and makes it hard to have reasoning. It’s hard to find out where these thoughts and doubts are coming from because usually there’s something in life that goes wrong like a bad day or a loved one dying that causes us to be made at God and have doubts, but there’s no real reason that I know of as to why these doubts are coming into mind. That’s what makes these doubts scary. Having others pray for you can be very beneficial especially knowing that a righteous friend is praying for you knowing God hears the prayers of the righteous!
Something that helps me is to realize those thoughts are from the devil, God knows that. As is says in psalms, “call on me on the day of trouble, and I will deliver thee, and you will glorify me”
Well I was abused for idk 10 years was badly abused by my mom, depression, anxiety, porn addiction. Well it turned good like today, I find out my mom changed(long time ago actually and I couldn't tell) and I started to fast like 10 days~ ago(a meal a day) and it worked out greatly, all problems r gone, I can share the gospels again, I can love people again and I gave up all my pride. So light so easy🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 praise the lord

I’m going through something terrible, and I have so many questions and have even been angry with God. sometimes i shove these negative emotions and questions down because i grew up believing that doubt means you don’t trust God and that you’re not supposed to doubt, but “just have faith”. I even sometimes believe that if i am angry or have questions, God is angry with me and has left me. This video help out SO much and put things into perspective. thank you so much!

4:00 I am in Japan. I had a Japanese friend ask why I am Christian and why I chose it over other religions. I unfortunately could only give a half baked answer because we were at a social gathering and it wasn’t the right place for a deep conversation. I am kicking myself for not having a better answer for the moment.

I’ve struggled (and still struggle) with doubt for much of my life. From what I’ve seen, if you let that doubt push you to search for answers, it will make you stronger and more discerning.
Doubt made me really look into some tough questions like my assumptions and questioning those assumptions. Questioning the actual evidence of what the Christian faith hinges it's beliefs on like the resurrection. I found the resurrection to be foudationed in very weak evidence the more I look into it and other claims in the bible.
Ive been struggling with islam since 2 Weeks now. God just took ALL my doubts and helped me trough it. Halleluja!!!
Wow… this video came at the right time. I’ve been doubting for over a year now, and it’s really had me in a hold. It had me from crying, to scared, to numb in a short time span. I always look down on doubt, but this video taught me that it can be a learning experience, and draw me closer to Christ. I’ve also been thinking for months now that I should discuss this with my pastor, but ive been so nervous to do so. I don’t know why, but I keep holding back. Thank you Jesus for this video, and I pray that i’m able to do the steps and put in the effort. ❤

@@Eruore i understand you, and its normal. On our walk with God we gi through some seasons where God is distant and it seems like he is not there, but trust me, HE IS THERE WITH YOU. God allows us to go through these difficult times because he is just testing us to see if we will remain with him. Or it can be for other reasons, but allways remember that he is with you and the only thing you have to do is keep seeking him. It may be hard but don't give up, it doesn't last forever. He will reveal himself to you. At the end you will see that your faith got stronger and you will get to feel God's peace and joy again. There's a big blessing after difficult times. If I have doubt, those times come from fear of the unknown. It helps me to spend time in worship every day. Worship for me is a daily devotional every morning. Maybe a faith based book. Music, worship music is not the same as it used to be. Spend 30 minutes to an hour a day in some combination of these. Favorite Christian author, Max Lucado. His books are easy to read, inspirational, and motivating. Worship music, Crowder, Zach Williams, and We the Kingdom. When you find yourself enjoying these times, understand that it is not the beat of the music or the words on the page, that is drawing you to it, it is God's love. God is pulling on your heart in your time of worship not the music.
I don't have any christian friend to talk to, but I talk to God even when I have doubts about him
