Wow, wonderful. I'm just back in Sweden after visiting my family living just outside Harare, close to Ngomakurira mountain. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Harare. Would have been so crazy if I bumped into you in Harare. Love your videos, thanks for showing everyday life in African countries.
African countries must fight hard to help suctions against Zimbabwe to be lifted, so that the country can grow as it is rightfully supposed to. Watching from South Africa, Pretoria.
Thats not addressing the underlying issues though. Lack of democracy, corruption from the bottom all the way to the president, no freedoms of expression, the list goes on. Why do people try to pretend like these governments are not killing their own people and blame everything on sanctions. You lift the economic sanctions, a few people will benefit from the country's progress and majority of the country will still remain in poverty
@@janezimunya188 Honestly true, besides sanctions they still trade with china and all the resources are movin there including mines that they are giving china. Human rights first and freedom of speech.
Just realised it's been 6 years already since I joined your channel! Wow no regrets 🙌, always good vibes to watch! Warm personality and genuine people.
Nice video. Harare looks like a beautiful city from this video. Will be interesting to see what kind of channel, "Afro Trekker" becomes, but the young lady should benefit from the Miss Josey introduction.
What Josie in Zim welcome welcome girl.l saw your vlog very late l hope you are still in Zim..Enjoy your visit Zim is home to you too showcase it with all you have..❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thats what majority of Harare looks like. Pot holes, no running water, no electricity, which are supposed to be basic amenities. High levels of corruption, people want you to pay extra to do the job they already being payed to do. Useless local currency etc. If u are a visitor Zimbabwe is a wonderful place to be because you got foreign currency and you get to spend it in the best parts of the country were its never crowded because majority of the locals can't afford to do those activities. And then after you leave and go back to your home country and your a good paying job.
It is also true, let’s not try to hide it . Harare is now a ghost city. The street that was the cleanest street in town, they are now selling tomatoes and goats there
I am travelling from Europe to Zim in March with my son who is going to marry there. They are dating on Facebook for two years, and decided to marry. We shall stay in one village near Gweru. It is my long lasted wish to visit Africa, this is first time. I was in Egypt but this is not the same.
For Luxury in Harare, you should get intouch with Mr. Zim he is on RUclips as well. Otherwise try to drive around Harare East. We also have places for deep water diving, Lake Chivero for outings Chinhoyi caves The ruines around Zimbabwe Visit the cool mountains for hiking in Nyanga, Mutare, Chimanimani, Matopo. Mountain biking Layed back Bulawayo There are too many places to visit
I wish I was home I would come to visit you in person. You are so amazing I follow your travels....we are seeing the world through the lenses of your camera.
Europeans know the city better as Salisbury, after the old British prime minister, the name Harare is derived from that of the outcast Chief Neharawe, who, with his people, occupied the Kopj. Today Harare is known for its Gold Mines and Virginia tobacco.
He didn't occupy the kopje, that was his land and his people's land. The occupiers were the europeans. The name Harare returned home, as it should after colonial rule was toppled, and the name Salisbury was returned to sender.😉
Josey only if you visited like twenty years ago that’s when everything was in order.. Ask the OGs And thanks for visiting our beloved country safe travels..
girl be careful. dont stop talk to strangers. dont entertain it at all, you never know what could happen that's why your friend/tour guide was rushing you to move along
The roads in Rhodesia are very fine. It was funny you stopped at an “old car”. It was a Hyundai, which is the Korean word for ‘modernity’. *-* Safe travelling in Zimbabwe.
@stewartabraham - (named) After Cecil Rhodes, the country was called Rhodesia. The colonial administrator/ head before independence was Ian Douglas Smith. They got independence from London in 1980. Belize was even later than this i think into the 1980s.

Great to see these travels from the perspective of a regional traveller.
Zimbabwe doesn’t boarder Malawi. Zimbabwe’s shares borders with South Africa 🇿🇦, Botswana 🇧🇼, Zambia 🇿🇲, Mozambique 🇲🇿 and a bit of Namibia 🇳🇦
So many animal places and game parks.

That park used to be so beautiful but now it’s really really bad. Very heartbreaking 💔
At the national gallery, you should have just said that you are from Gweru. You easily pass as a local with your attitude and accent.
I was born in RHODESIA in SAILSBURY enjoying your video brings back great memories
It looks underdeveloped
Must have been a Sunday. Very quiet.
I was wondering
You didn't get as ready this time.. it probably feels safer that way ha!

Woow beautiful realy😮 why is it when people talk about Zimbabwe they sound like it's a jungle❤
