Darcy, you have been blessed with the usage of words…. Not the common ones but different ones meaning the same thing. You are a master at it 💖 Your narrator, can’t remember her name, brings your words to life ‼️. She is excellent 👍 Now I have housework to catch up on🧺🧽🪣🧹 lol. Will start another one soon. You got me hooked🪝 girl. Have a great day 💖💖👵🏻❣️
If you want scary, this is the book!!! It's an excellent story packed with frightening unexpected twists, and the characters' personalities are meticulously defined, as if they are real people! Make sure to read part 1 first!
I don't understand why the parents wrote the will in her favor. Hadn't seen each other in decades but parents could have died and she would never know. Seems to me the parents set her up. Them knowing the danger. Unless, something else changes . Not completely done with the book yet....🤔
@MamaofaWrestler no I understand that part. But I don't understand is why they put her in the will to inherit the house in the business. If they would have not put her in the will she would not have known when they passed and they would not have passed this house with all the issues the grounds or the winery. She would have been parentless but she wouldn't have had to go through what she went through and the parents knew that the house and land was very bad. So have they not put her in the will she wouldn't have had to go through that she wouldn't have known when her parents passed and she would have had to just to deal with why your parents handed her over to the grandmother at such an early age
If you are not named in a will but are considered the next of kin, you would generally be able to inherit land from the deceased under state intestate succession laws, meaning you would inherit the property if the person died without a valid will; however, the specific distribution would depend on the state's laws and the relationship you have to the deceased (google)

So, how many people, when they first heard about the barrels origin thought, thats the first thing I would have gotten rid of ? I did, it sure would have shortened this considerably, lol.
@, how about, in the beginning, when she was talking about the hanging nooses, she never even mentioned that there was someone actually in the house ringing the service bells ? Building on some kind of old graveyard is far from an original idea and I thought there wasn’t much care given to detail, there was also lot of meaningless, word fill. I really do like the narrator though, without that I would have bailed.
WHAT A GREAT STORY, the narrator is sooo gooood, kept me listening like i was watching a movie

I think the parents sent her to live with her Grandma to protect her from having anything associated with the house, including themselves.

That ruined the ending for me

Brilliant🪓
The narrator has a beautiful voice but it's too whispery getting a bit irritating hard to concentrate and enjoy 😊
