The movie for Let Me In was very very good. Loved it. The next Steig Larson? I need to try him out! Love his trilogy, can't wait for the NA movie! I finished 11-22-63 a short while ago and it's my 2nd favorite book by him, it was just WOW.
I'm sooooooooo excited to hear what you think of Jonathan Maberry. I WORSHIP that man's novels lmao! I seriously haven't read a single bad book from him! I actually just finished his novelization of the remake of The Wolfman, and I was blown away at how much better it was than the film!
I'm very curious about your books intake. How much do you read? One book per week? More, less? Do you always finish the books? Do you borrow books? Are you a collector? Much appreciated; keep up the good work.
I'm finishing up Rot & Ruin by Jonathan Maberry right now. It's a young adult zombie novel and it's really good. A bit slow at times, but good. Great haul!
Cool! Do you shop on lulu for books? I have a novel I finished recently, titled "Lone Wolves" about a DEA agent named Aaron Solomon who after losing his father and fellow agent to a vicious drug lord, is consumed with vengence and stops at nothing to get revenge on the man responsible for his murder. Currently, Iam working on the sequel, titled "Danger Close" which should be released next year.
Also, I think his strongest book, so far, is either part one of The Pine Deep Trilogy (Ghost Road Blues), or Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura series: Book 1). I cried, like, three different times throughout Rot and Ruin. Jonathan's writings are excellent.
I read Richard Gwyn's excellent first book on Sir John A. last year and plan on reading it again before I read the second volume. The Louise Penny books are also amazing. My favourite so far has been Bury Your Dead.Be nice if someone would make a series based on the books like the U.K. do with the British detectives?
COME BACK WE MISS YOU! 😭😭😭😭
