i never thought this video would come out. It took forever but I'm glad it made the cut. Thanks for having me Steven and I hope we can see one another very soon. I'm dying to come to NYC and when we move into our new home, you got a place to stay once again.
It has been reformulated according to other reviewers. The 2024 version is slightly lighter than the "older" version. I bought backups for the Absolutely Flanker in case they do the same thing to that fragrance too.
In the new one, they removed the toffee note and replaced it with chestnut. The new one is more vanilla forward. This is what I hear. Read the F.I.L. (fragrance ingredient list) code at the end of the ingredients list.
Are you sure the FIL code is the same? The bottle these guys have has a toffee note but the 2024 rerelease is not meant to have any toffee note apparently.
@@sun--li very certain because I have the new one. Produced in June 2024. ( Fragrances are always bottled 2-3 months before ending up on store shelves ) In a thread I was following someone had actually contacted Armani about it and they confirmed the same thing I'm thinking this 2024 thing is basically just a re-advertising rather than a relaunch of a new fragrance
@@patrickbateman4541 Do you notice a toffee note in your new bottle? And did you own an older bottle previously that you could compare the scent to? I really want the toffee note in there.
@@sun--li I do smell the toffee yeah quite noticably and no I don't have an old bottle to compare to but from memory of wearing the older bottles quite a bit from release onwards, it was the same. Also from what I remember of gents scents comparison video of the new vs old he just said mostly the spice/sparkle aspect of the fragrance has changed, not the sweetness, and that could just be from bottles aging Also I wore absolutely and only recently too. They don't have that same sweetness at all compared to this new bottle of intensely

This is what I have been seeing recently as well.
I don’t understand how to distinguish new formula from the old one 🤔, package looks the same 😂

Is this a paid partnership with Armani video?
Yes it is. Did we sell it hard enough?
This was a confusing release. Not even sure its a re release since the formula FIL code is still the same
I appreciate you sharing this
