- In today's episode of the "Smooth Moves" playthrough, we complete Young Cricket's stage, which consists of us balancing blocks on a Wii remote in order to cut to the front of a dumpling line.
For our next stage, we have Young Cricket, who uses his martial arts prowess for evil by cutting in line. Though now that I think about it, I'm surprised that Wario has never tried to open up a dojo. I mean, Wario has his own unique fighting style that yields results, as seen in "Wario World" and the "Wario Land" games, so I'm sure that lots of people would be willing to pay to learn his techniques. Plus, Wario could easily trick his students into working for him- completing chores, running side hustles, etc.- on the grounds of training. But I digress...
In regards to the microgames games, due to Young Cricket's stage introducing three new styles- Elephant, Waiter and Tug-of-War- there's a lot more variety than what's seen in Wario and Mona's stages. Not to mention, the Elephant and Waiter styles are solid since the former's more or less Remote Control, but with a different name, and the microgames involving the latter focus on balancing the Wii remote. Though as for the Tug-of-War style, while it works well for the most part, there are instances where it can feel a little finicky- almost as if you have to crouch and pull slowly in order for your motion to successfully register. As such, I find Young Cricket's stage to be better than Mona's, but not as good as Wario's since it lacks the unique flare that makes his stage special.
