The first time I heard her "singing rap", I was in shock. She's an amazing artist.
So this show, Begin Again Korea was an established show with as you guessed it individual artists coming together. Sohyang was on 6 out of the 9 episodes so tons of material to cover. All in this stripped back style. Before this they would travel around another country, but this was 2020 so they traveled around South Korea at outdoor venues to bring hope to the people. The small audience at each area was done by lotto.
You did do one reaction to a performance from this show before "I Will Always Love You' if you go and re-watch you will see its mostly the same people.
While the talent of Sohyang is undeniable, the rest of the talent in this assemblage of Begin Again performers is absolutely stunning as well. Suhyun (the younger girl doing most of the hand-off) has an insanely clean voice. Others have mentioned the many skills of the other performers.

So enjoyable to see you react to this happy performance from Begin Again Korea. This segment of Begin Again took place during Covid, and this ensemble, with the inclusion of Lee Sora (a highly esteemed senior singer and the Originator of Begin Again Series) performed 154 songs in 15 locations in S Korea, visiting the essential workers during the epidemic. Begin Again 2 and 3 follows the group as they went busking through Portugal, Italy, and Hungary during the previous 2 years, with some changes in membership. Three of the performers shown here collaborated in Begin Again 2,3, and Korea. They are Henry Lau ( extreme left; singer, actor, composer, dancer, multilingual multi-instrumentalist), Lee Suhyun ( tne red-haired young woman, who is half of the sibling duo AKMU, actress, tv and radio host, and one of the mentors to the new YG group BabyMonster. AKMU currently has 2 Korean chart-topping hit songs, the cheerfully styled "LoveLee" and "Fry, fry.", the latest in their 10 year history with YG), and box-drummer Hareem ( multi- instrumentalist and singer).The others L to R in the thumbnail are Sohyang, Lee Hi, "Crush," Jung Seung Hwan, and guitarist-singer Jeuk Jae. All prominent artists in S Korea.
GREAT/FANTASTIC/AWESOME reaction. There's a video of this group rehearsing. The K-Pop artists had a difficult time with the cadence and rhythm of rap. Not So Hyang, she was spitting bars like she's been rapping all her life.
This is a concert series called BEGIN AGAIN where a group of young up and coming Korean artists travel around Asia and Europe showcasing their talents, the young girl harmonising with SOHYANG is LEE SUHYUN who is part of a brother and sister duo called AKMU, she has a few of her own performances in this particular set, the other girl in pink is LEE HI, another lovely singer with a very rich tone, HENRY JAU is a brilliant musician who plays violin, guitar and keyboard in these shows, I don't know the rest of the names but they are equally talented, this begin again series is a rabbit hole well worth going down 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Yes, she really is rapping. 😂Isn't it great. Also you do get some solos from the others so its a good introduction. That other lady is Lee Suhyun and her voice goes so well with Sohyang's. They did a duet on this show covering JessiJ's "Flashlight" a song that I know you will want to check out.
This is why I recommended this. Sohyang is known for her big ballads but she has other gems too.
Just be careful of copy write with Begin Again Korea, might want some kind of filter.
