Playing synthezisers since I'm 16 years old. I'm 55 now. I have quite a big knowledge I think, of how you can use them ;-) Which amazes me with Carbon Based Lifeforms is the simplicity of their music. No complex combinations. No crazy sounds. No surrounded multi-timbral effects all the time. No vanity. Just that pure, unique simplicity which talks directly to your soul. Some call that definition : Art. We don't just get music here : Art is above our head, our ears, our soul. ;-)
It's pretty simple when it comes to composition, but from the production standpoint it's very complex, there's so many layers and little details that you sometimes need months of listening to discover.
Well they did pretty much the same set in the same location - the chill dome at Ozora. Let just say I was on the right diet and I will never forget that set.

CBL should really release this as a double live album, the mixes in this set are incredible! There are many subtleties that stand out from the album versions, and the progression of the set really takes you on a journey, Tensor into Escape into Loss Aversion, OMG, tears of joy!! I love CBL , hope to see them in the States someday!!! Cheers to everyone who 'gets' and is moved by this music!!
I am 57 years old and I bumped into CBL by accident while trawling through you tube about four years ago and what a spiritual music experience. I have been having since, it does not matter whether I am straight or high, CBL delivers each and every time. Great musicians I am glad you are in my life and I have never been to a concert or festival.

This is absolutely fantastic ❤️. I had this privilege to see them live couple of years ago playing in Poland. The event took place in the Jewish Synagogue and the sound-feelings were just incredible. I had a feeling I was in the middle of the sound heaven. Peace ✌️
I have been listening to varied music from literally all genres of music for 30+ years. Carbon Based Lifeforms are literally climbing up my list of all time favourites. The music they put out is on another level and the Derelicts album is no exception.
Of all their concerts and performances that I have visited or seen on the net, this clip from the OZORA 2017 is one of their best performances. As far as music is concerned. So many people don't get this music. They must be living on a different wave than me. When I play this music on my headphones, my mind goes where it chooses. It's like, I let go and let my mind. Maybe that is why they call it a brain massage.
I bet there is some kind of connection to low creativity and maybe intellect with those who dont really like any music of Carbon Based Lifeforms. I dont know, just speculating

I live in Australia. I came across CBL a few years ago when a Norwegian friend sent me the link to “Supersede”.it blew me away. It was the most beautiful music I have ever heard. It’s a pleasure to be listening to this live concert video which I have just discovered.

I was lucky to be at their other live set at the Dome this time at Ozora 2019, and it was one of the most magical night ever.
This is and always will be my go to comedown set. I have heard it so many times and every time it feels like a different experience.
So many people don't get this music. They must be living on a different wave than me. When I play this music on my headphones, my mind goes where it chooses. It's like, I let go and let my mind. Maybe that is why they call it a brain massage.
My man! The 1st few times I heard these guys I was trying to describe it to a friend. And a brain massage was exactly how I described it lol!
I bet there is some kind of connection to low creativity and maybe intellect with those who dont really like any music of Carbon Based Lifeforms.
