I think that means the other woman was content to be "the other woman," when it meant he'd give her his best, and shower her with love, affection, and presents, but when it meant ironing his shirts and cleaning his house and raising his child, she was OUT! She could get that with a BETTER man, who was younger and handsomer, and didn't come with a ready-made spoiled brat she didn't like.
So, either Moe and Lisa lived in squalor for ten years, or else they hired a housekeeper. Because if Lisa was the one cooking and cleaning, then she would have APPRECIATED all the hard work her mother did. But, if someone else did it, then she'd be able to still continue to think that it is nothing, and easy, and not valuable.

@@susanhansen1290 Of course there have been, but not many of those have had a thousand military personnel lining the route to the church as was the case in Prince William & Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011. I could have made a list of loads of weddings that cost millions however I only needed one example to compare to, in this case, a paltry 100k relatively speaking of course.

If you think these are good actresses, I’d hate to see what you would think are bad actresses. the mother cannot pick a southern accent and stick to it. Half the time she sounds like Blanche from the Golden girls half the time she sounds like Karen the sassy, black woman.
And now that I’m hearing the husband’s voice, it sounds like he’s trying to push a giant turd out every other sentence. Dude needs to eat some fiber.
And as always with these videos to make them speak at a decent speed instead of one that put you to sleep, you have to set the speed to 1.5

Maybe a little loud, BUT IT'S NOT ROBOT OR AI!!! And I agree that the southern accent is cringey, because you can't tell what state it's from (Kentucky? Oklahoma? What?) or if it's urban black. I would suggest to the otherwise good VAs to drop any accents unless well practiced.
A grown woman calling her father/dad Daddy still always makes me cringe. Just to be clear this is just my feelings, no one has to agree with it.
I have to admit that I am 65 years old and still think of my father as "Daddy", but he died when I was 18. I don't call him that out loud.

I call my mom mommy half the time she died when I was 23 I only call her that when I’m sick though and I live alone I called my dad daddy a couple of times in my head and not out loud for some reason when I see a dog 🐶 I call it doggy I need help

As the child of a Southern woman, I HATE it when people on the internet, usually Yankees, declare that THEY KNOW how ALL Southerners use, "Bless your heart" to mean, "F*#^ you!"
SOME may do that, but the vast majority of Southern women actually MEAN "bless your heart" to mean, "Awwww, you're so cute!"
I mean, really, my mother absolutely adored me, when I was a toddler, doing cute things. Do you really think that, when she was bragging to her friends about the cute and advanced things her daughter was doing, as a toddler, that she was also saying, "F#*^ that child"? Of course not. She was saying, "Awwww, the sweet little thing is trying SO HARD! So cute!"
And in this story, she used it properly, and only said it about people she actually loved and appreciated.

You might want to look into editing your videos a little better. The audio was all over the place, one minute I had to turn the volume down becouse of the screaming and the next I had to shoot it to the max just to hear what was being said.

@@sandrasausville9103I live in Bama and spent 23 years in various southern states. This "southern" accent was as bad as Elsa's (1883) - makes my ears bleed listening to bad southern accents.
I like the different accents. They make a nice change of pace. I have no problem with them as long as they are understandable!

You guys need to leave the accents alone. Mom's accent is a little offensive to people who live in the South Eastern U.S. Why? Because it doesn't sound authentic, it sounds like you're making fun of Country folk.
What if that is her natural voice? She might just have a different accent from what you’re used to.
