@@juleyray1975Yes, for sure! Your extremely recent loss is important, too. 💔
When the bottom drops out of our world with the death of a loved one, it seems to make no sense at all that the world just keeps going as if nothing so monumentally significant just happened. This happens with nearly all deaths, including those of celebritys' who are people who happened to live in the spotlight of media attention.
The world is changed by every death, and every birth, and every life.
Maybe you could write about your father; his life, who he was as person, and how important he was, so more people will have this truth brought to their attention. This record would be a way for others around the world, now, and for generations, to have the gift of knowing more of your father.
I think you could add your father to Legacy records, and there was an option to pay to keep the record permenantly. A few years ago, I did this with a loved friend, on behalf of my family.
You could also share information about your father to a public family tree, or Find-a-grave. This would be a way to reach many more people who have the capacity to appreciate the significance and value of a man and father they didn't have the honour of meeting. 💔 ❤️‍🩹 ♥️

John was very bitter at the music industry ever since 1987 when he wrote most of the music for slide it in David Coverdale fired him and he never got over that. David Coverdale tried to make amends over the last 10 years, but John wasn’t hearing any of it. Don’t forget John was the original guitarist in the winery dogs but they weren’t called the winery dogs at that time. They were called bad apple. John was so disillusioned with the music industry. He left the winery dogs. It was then Eddie trunk recommended Richie Kotzen.

@charles-y2z6c Planned Parenthood has saved so many women's lives. Many had cancer detected early enough to treat. Many more have been saved during miscarriages.
The U.S.A. has the highest pregnancy death rate in the developed world; higher than some developing countries. The highest pregnancy death rates are in states without Planned Parenthood.
Denying life saving medical treatment and allowing a person to die is not supporting life.
Best to avoid the propaganda and look up the facts before you judge someone responsible for providing a place for medical professionals to save lives, and provide healthcare for so many people, including children.

While bassist Rick Danko sings a killer sorrowful song about missing his loved one, it is Garth Hudson who comes in at the song's end with his sax and just nails it with a short solo and then the longer solo on the song's outro. He is just iconic.

Joan Plowright in 'Brimstone and Treacle' with Sting and Denholm Elliot. She was so very good in that, in everything really, but that's the movie she did that stuck with me.

Another person that passed away this week on 1/20/2025 was Hal Sperlich. Not too many people recognize his name, but he worked as an automotive product planner for Ford and Chrysler, and he, along with Lee Iacocca, were responsible for bringing two American icons to market: The 1964.5 Ford Mustang and the 1984 Chrysler minivans. He was 95 years old. Definitely a true automotive pioneer.

I had to re-watch ENDLESS SUMMER and #2 when I heard of Hynson's passing. We don't 'get to know him' but he contributes to those films so much. They're not biographies but he's one of the tour guides for that lifestyle. Thanks. Garth Hudson's appearance on Karla Bonoff's wonderful THE WATER IS WIDE is sooo distinctive as to be instantly recognizable as his contribution.

January Is a super mixed emotions month for our family. Happy because our 23 year old grandsons birthday on January 2nd and our 18 year old grandsons birthday on January 29th, but it's also hard because January 9th my precious mama passed in 2017 at 92, my husband's mother and my father both passed January 27th both from Leukemia, my daddy in 1984 at 55 years young and his mom in 1993 at age 73. So happiness and sadness at the beginning and ending of the month.

I can relate, but not so many births and deaths in January as you. My dad died 17th January 1981 aged 44 years (but I was told on my birthday). It was my birthday yesterday. It was my aunt's birthday last week. My child, 21 years exactly on one of your grandsons' birthdays.

Dennis the Menace was among my favorite movies as a kid. I could watch it over and over again and it would never get old. Joan Plowright was wonderful in that movie as Mrs. Wilson. "He's just a little boy!" She said that a lot to her on-screen husband and he wouldn't budge. Even when he showed up at the door covered in water and powder, Mrs. Wilson couldn't help but let out a giggle. Rest in Peace, Joan Plowright. Thank you for being a part of my childhood.
