Very good review and your playing is great. I hope you can also make a demo with this guitar without all the effects, so we can hear the guitar on its own. The effects make it difficult to judge the guitar.
I know you like the bottoms to be 9's but do you use heavy tops? I've always used 10-46 but I just ordered a set of 9-42.. I've never tried them but I'm willing to give it a shot..
Hey Steve.I know you won't read it,but I'll try.I really like the PRS guitars, but I don't know wich guitar should I choose.I have an epiphon LP,but would like to buy a guitar that is good for many genres.Blues,Rock, the priority,but....I don't have a big budget.Around 750-1000€,but what about an HSH or HSS configuration. What would you choose?Hope that anyone could help me out.Every suggestion is appriciated.THX
Hey Marko, I am not Steve, but I can give you some suggestions. I have a few PRS guitars, so it depends if you want to have a duplicate LP type, in that case you may want to look at the the 245 SE , or even a Pauls Guitar SE. they have the fatter necks I believe. Bernie Mars den SE is even thicker than a 245 (LP Type) but not sure if you can find them new ? That’s very close to an LP If you want something different , the PRS Custom 22 or Custom 24 (the 22 fret is a little warmer on the neck I believe, I have the 24. ) Of course there is always the guitar that Steve is playing, S2, i have not tried them yet. And of course, there are other brands that as well. I have a few HSS guitars, but they are not PRS. But in your price range, there are many great guitars both new and used. I like to have different guitars now a days, so I try not to duplicate for variety. Hope that helps. Try before you buy if possible. But if not make sure you have a good return policy if possible
I just scored one heck of a deal. A Fender 1/12 Super Sonic 22 watt tube amp that looks brand new for only $200.. I got it from a man that's in the military that's going overseas next week.... And I found a Fender 212 Frontman last week and she only wanted $100 for it that looks brand new. But I gave the lady $170 for it.. She said that she needed the money bad and she had a little kid with her...
I always wanted that beautiful and sweet sounding guitar. But when PRS left out the birds on the S2 range its not gonna happen. This must be some kind of a marketing/pricing thing that we instead go to the core line. But they are to expensive. The S2 line is awsome and just what i want BUT WITH THE BIRDS. Otherwise is no a real PRS anymore for me and i sometimes you just want to go outside the SE line. The lack of the birds only makes me go to other brands. I think this is sad because the S2 line is lovely. Especially miss this Vela and the Mira with birds in the S2 line. Come on PRS makes this happen. For now i just wait for that day😢
@@jeannenooney not in the S2 Standards and not the Mira and the Vela that are my favourites and now they moved to the SE line, yes with the Birds but not in the S2 line
This guitar just sounds like nostalgia and I think that’s what draws me to it. It’s a very unique but attractive vintage sound
Just bought this guitar but with the satin finish. I can’t wait till it’s delivered!
Did you end up liking it?
I could sit and listen to you play and teach all day long. That’s a BADAZZ AXE! 🤘🎸
I love the sounds you got out of this guitar!

I have a ce and this might be the perfect accompaniment
Nice one
Love that Steve!.. n the guitar is nice too lol
Is it noise cancelling in the middle position with the bridge coil tapped?
I truly do like the semihollow version. Much better not that this is a nice guitar but the semihollow sounds so much better thanks again. 7:35 7:41 8:00
Dear guitar world, you should have Steve review more guitars, this is the way you do it!

There are many S2 models with the PRS birds. Here's a link: www.prsguitars.com/products/s2/ #wemakeprs
