Great recovery! Few things to break down here. Firstly, that opening lap, just gotta be mindful of cold tires and wet track. Very slippery even when you're being conservative. Also keep in mind that the fast line with any puddle isn't necessarily the same as the dry line (and likely is very different). In this race, knowing you had such a pace advantage, staying alive is your biggest key. Not that you didn't anything wrong the first lap, but you lost your chance to fight for P1 immediately, when even falling back to 3rd or 4th L1, you're still in the fight. As for the issue with Juan at T14, I think it's a fair legit move, and it doesn't appear you slipped on a puddle or curve or anything. Although it was a fair move, the result is probably on you to back out of that one, just becase with the late dive and being behind at the apex, it's your job to give the other guy space. I think it's 100% a racing deal (especially in low splits), but if blame had to be assigned, it'd be put on you. Amazing comeback for P3, I'm very excited to see your progress if you do another season of GR86, to see the lessons and progress you've made from this season. Keep your head up, I can see the progress being made!
With Juan; you maybe could have stayed tighter and he should have been about 4 car widths to his left. Bit of both there but he was ahead and had the privilege of choosing his line. Always tricky making that in the moment call when you didn’t plan to make the move in the first place. I know you’re kicking yourself but that was a great recovery drive dude. Podium is always a good result… keep on going!
Agreed man, Something about the oval side has just been bad lately imo. I'm enjoying learning something new rather than being wrecked by people who should know better

Thank you Ian!
Really like the road series videos. Oval has gotten pretty bad with the inc points and aggressive people so I’ve just started to learn road cars
