Honda certainly likes variations on a theme. Back in the 1970s they had CB350, CL350 and SL350. Now they have CB500F, CBR500R, CB500X, SCL500 and Rebel 500. A lot of budget friendly choices for the motorcyclist getting their second motorcycle.

I think you'd love the SCL as a first bike. my first was a ninja 250. Now there's the ninja 500 which costs less than this, yet has similar performance...but definitely not off road capable, nor has the old school charm.
