I don’t usually comment on videos but I would like you to know that your videos helped guide me back to Christ. I was saved and baptized in high school, but after school I joined the Marine Corps and I slid back hard. I was not walking with the Lord for 7 years after high school. After the Marines I was having a terrible time trying to sleep, found out I have tinnitus and I needed some noise to help me fall asleep. I found out about ASMR and fell in love with it. I found your channel about a year ago and you really helped me fall asleep even in the worst nights. Fast forward to 5 months ago and I’ve started praying, studying The Word, and going to church again. I feel my faith in Jesus is stronger than ever and I can honestly say you’re a big reason I rekindled my faith. Praise God for Him putting your channel in my life. And one last thing, if any of you who read this are considering becoming a follower of Christ, just jump in! You’ll never “clean yourself up” enough. Jesus changes the heart, the only thing you have to do is have faith. Thank you Christi! May God bless you and your ministry.
I actually like that you made such an interactive video. Personally i do love to hear scriptures but i would love to hear more then just scriptures. I want to hear what you think the lesson is. What wisdom you find in the scriptures. People like me who are curious about God need to hear what you think is in the scriptures. I dont know but i try to understand. Thanks for your insight on your chosen scripture.

I had a dream from God saying he would heal me if I read his word. I woke up and said are you sure Lord? Because I've been reading the bible for 13 years almost and I haven't seen healing. I then turned it over to proverbs 4 22 and it said my words are health and life to all your flesh, I believed it and I've been reading the word for 20 days now and steadily feeling a little bit better each day 😊
In this passage, I believe it shows that God knows our hearts and is aware of our problems. And if we have faith in him and his word, he will lay his hands on our situations. I also love how the paralytic man (and friends) had blind faith in God and Jesus to be healed. It's a beautiful passage

Thank you for this comforting video Christi. I've been struggling a lot with my physical health the past year, which led to a surgery that until now doesn't seem to have helped me in the way that it was explained it would by the doctors. Sometimes I wonder if my health will ever be restored to how good/strong I remember I used to feel. It affects my life and the lives of the people close to me that I love. I really needed the reminder that it's so important to shift our focus from ourselves to God in times of hardship, whatever it may be. So thank you again, God bless you and everybody else who needed this encouragement ❤️

Right. You can walk in the light of God and not go to church. As an introvert I feel better speaking to Him myself or with family. Churches aren't always comfortable to everyone and that is okay! I am Protestant which could be why this is my feeling about the subject.
Jesus isn't the church. The church isn't Jesus. And even though they read from the Bible, they don't always teach it correctly. They cherry pick. My point is don't give up on God because of people. God bless

I too have stopped going to a Church and I have been inspired to read The Word again by Pastor Joseph Prince on you tube. I just look up scriptures he talks about to inspire me.
Two things stick out to me personally pertaining to the first part of what you read. One they didn't know who Jesus or God was truly intimately and also whatever they saw was so marvelous in manner that they were ALL Shocked. That part was actually funny to me when I heard you read the part where everyone was shocked and amazed. I was like God is wild and awesome. When he moves you will be amazed. Gods glory is seen in his works!
I was just studying this yesterday praise God, clicked on this video and it’s about the same exact verses I was reading about yesterday, God is dealing with me I’m recovering from a hip replacement my second one in less than 10 years I’m a 37 year old man with a little family God has blessed my wife and I with 3 beautiful babies. God must be dealing with my heart from these verses thank you Christi for making this video sister we love you and may Godbless you in Jesus name amen and amen
I know two people who just had their second one as well (although much older). May the Lord speed up your recovery! You are a blessed man to have a wife and THREE children. What a gift!
@@ChristiASMR truly I am Jesus has been good to us we didn’t have children first 14 years of marriage our oldest is four years old ,2.5 yrs old girl then A ten month old. wifey and I have been married since 2005 when we were eighteen we cried and prayed many years for babies to come and God was so faithful to me even tho it looked like we wouldn’t never have any kids God showed his power and my first son was born and I even had a dream of it my wifey taking a pregnancy test and the dream came true, thanks for the kind words and prayers for me for full recovery as I need the Lords help to get back to it.
Thank you so much for your Bible readings, and for this Bible study. (Your telling of the story in your own words is really nice, too. 🙂) One request I have, is to do a Bible reading/s or study with little to no asmr techniques. There's no doubt that I have been relaxed by such techniques, however I'm thinking that I would be more focused on the Scripture itself, rather than being 'distracted' so to speak by the pleasurable sensations. How can i know if im a bad person who is playing with God and pretending to care, or if i am truly trying to get out of my sin and just cant do it yet? Please its driving me crazy idk what to do and ive tried everything
God knows your heart. Committing to His word, serving others, and loving others is how you glorify Him. Know that we are only human so we will never do it perfectly, but God love us anyone unconditionally. Our thoughts can make us think we are not doing enough, but those negative thoughts are not from Him. Put your trust only in the Lord and remember His promises to us. Romans 8:35-39

I often feel so undeserving of love that I shut myself down from Him, but I need to remember that no one is deserving of God and that everyone has a chapter in their stories they dont like to read out loud

The passage tells me that God is a loving God and he will forgive our sins if we truly will give him our hearts and surrender to him.
I feel like the Lord was telling me to surround myself with friends that have faith like those 4 in the passage so they can help me increase my faith.
