- I explain in detail what each zombie in Kongfu World does from the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. This took a lot of time to record and edit, so I hope you learned something new :)

I think there is one major difference between the Torch Kongfu zombie and the Torch Monk zombie. One is a sad dude with a sack, a headband and a lame torch, the other is a zombie monk spinning a torch at the blinding speed, while running(kinda) straight at your house.

Agreed, the commentary is very nice along with video on screen correlating with what is being said. That's also what I personally liked about your PvZ Heroes highlight, there's commentary that explains why you did what you did and the stats of any zombie/plant you place being shown letting any new people understand what's happening. Most highlights I see are dull and uninteresting until the one big play they have which is kinda disappointing considering how strategic and fun PvZ Heroes can be.
Pvz2 has arguably the MOST intriguing special region locked content out of any game, period. Great video!

I'm going to be honest, Gunpowder Devil's death animation is ridiculously underwhelming. Not because he doesn't do an animation based on the one that happens when a zombie is killed with fire or an explosion, not because his panicking upon realising he dropped all his bombs looks weird, not because he's not expressive enough, not because the animation isn't smooth, but because his head doesn't fall from the sky.
Blade Hero's is awesome though, like a warrior who fought their last battle
For real, I too wanted to see his head fall from the sky.

I like how unique detail in this game unlike normal one.especially qong zombie since he cant use his qong bc he lost a hand unlike the king from normal version once his hand is broken he still can use it.pretty cool feature if you ask me

it is worth mentioning that the drinking monk zombie deals damage overtime and not according to his animation
I remember time when these two zombies was actual bosses in this world. And they both are pretty solid fights, with Blade Hero is really challenging.
I can see why when he has 75k hp
One thing you forgot to mention. If you use a plant food on an imp pear on both bosses, it take out one bar of health on it.
I like how the Boss here is actually challenging unlike the original one.

The Chinese version is somewhat better than the other versions. The Chinese version has some unique plants that aren’t seen in any other version, they have the Brontosaurus in Jurassic Marsh, the Dino Stampede thing, etc.

Before the 1.8 update, there were 30 levels with the Gunpowder devil boss fight being on day 16. Admiral Helmet weapon stands would spawn and Torch Monk Zombies could sometimes deflect projectiles.
The flag that the flag barrer zombie uses is actually the war flag used by various chinese dynasties over the centuries! Also the swordsman zombie is based on the boxer and holy taiping rebellion soldiers! The Han Bronze Gargantuar is holding a club reminisent to the japanese tetsubo, but its kinda small for it size so maybe another club. The Blade Wielding Hero is I think based on a general in the period of the Three Kingdoms and lastly, the Gunpowder devil throws pirate impa because most gunpowder weapons used by chinese dynasties were used more during naval combat ( to disrupt or destroy enemy vessels )

It was hell I tell ya, the boss fights were absolutely ruthless
i'd love to see more videos in this style detailing the other unique zombies (maybe the major worlds having their own vids, then all the chinese exclusives in the worlds both games have all in one extra video)

Yeah his actual DPS looks about the same as a regular Zombie, he only really has the advantage of more HP and immunity to certain instant plants.
The pirate imp launching thingy makes sense because they usually get fired by imp cannons
Does nobody else find the fact that Drinking Monk outdamages the Swordsman to be a glaring issue? Also Knight Bronze is probably my favorite special enemy shown off in this video, although the Gargs in general could probably do with a bit less health, potentially 5.4k to match Jurassic Marsh Garg and hit the breakpoint of cleanly dying to 3 Cherry Bombs.
What a interesting version. It has a lot of special zombies.
Kongfu zombie- incredibly stupid.
Drinking zombie- inappropriate.
Hammer zombie- a very weak jester.
Torch kongfu zombie- Chinese explorer.
Exploding zombie- if you didn’t notice, he actually makes the same noise when exploding as jack-in-the-box zombie did.

Fun Fact: The Gunpowder Devil was actually on the World Map for Kongfu World prior to the 1.8.0 Update

You forgot one important thing about the Fire Monk Zombie (the one who spins their torch) is that the fire spin can easily destroy a zombie if the Monk Zombie above is hypnotized (even Gargantuars), also the 2 fire zombies here can lit up the gunpowder barrels' fuses in certain levels

I love this world rendition of the main theme, it's quite a bop.
Definitely better than most of the other worlds.
A bit late to the party but these Chinese-exclusive songs are banging. The ultiamre battle themes especially, they feel so unique using more than "Replace the main instrument with the instrument of the world" but actually truly remixed. So good.
How has there never been a bomb zombie in the main game?
It makes so much sense like the zombie version of cherry bomb.
A sword zombie would be cool too, but the fire zombie does it better.
There was the jack-in-the-box zombie, but it never got the remaster treatment like newspaper or football zombie for PVZ2

@@a.jaionakalilpercy1190 i mean, it exists, but it rarely actually explodes, you need an All-Star in the same line whose tackle isn't stopped by a plant to kick it, that's assuming the imp doesn't die extremely fast if you have a good defense.

I never noticed it before since i never even saw footage of the chinese version zombies, but MAN do they lack polish in their animations for anything unique and not reused from non exclusives
Sky City (another Chinese-exclusive world) is a lot more polished
I was always trying to find videos talking about the stuff that Is only in the chinese versions of Pvz and finally I found something like It. Cant wait for the whole series. (Also apperently china Is getting a new fairy tale world so that's even better)
The main thing I'm wondering about is why they had alll this extra content, and all these assets drawn,animated and coded, yet they only released this in China
Although the pvz china version has this world, it is not complete, because the new world needs to be released, so it has not been produced yet
Popcap Shanghai once planned to make a boss called Qigong Master, but it was abandoned because Popcap urged the Shanghai team to release Far Future as soon as possible
Hasn't far future been out for years before I made this comment in both versions? Also kongfu world and many other worlds have been released already, this is not an unfinished world. My question was WHY is this not in the international version?
@@thepizzaman6310 cuz this was made by PopCap Shangai, basically chinese popcap, if the international popcap added this world to the international version they would get something like a strike for copyright cuz its not the same company.

@@flagzombie how about the zombies in pvz online? If you haven't heard, it was a Chinese pvz mmo that closed in 2018 but its source code is available and partially playable. I say partially because it relied heavily on servers and not all of its files were archived. It has some cool exclusive zombies like the astro goop zombie and the desert death zombie.

I dont understand why popcap shangai is the always the one copying the usa popcap and never the opposite. This world with some modifications would be pretty original and nice to have in the international version

They had to impress our lord and savior Xi Jinping to make pvz2 available in China
so from what I picked up in this video is that pvz2 Chinese edition is less polished than the main version put brings more of a challenge

The 80hp was for dying animation or something, now basic zombies do have 190hp in code too
I used the hp from the PvZ Wiki. I can't really check the files myself to know.
@@flagzombie that wiki is more wrong than right, as evidenced by writing health in damage per shot, implying that you need to deal that much damage in a single shot to kill them, which isn’t how it works at all.
