So......I'm having issues with this guy....but we're just friends, smh. I'm a Pisces and he's a Taurus. I'm giving him his space now. Someone please tell me if this Taurus guy is interested in having more than a friendship with me... or am I crazy? I must admit that I am very old fashioned, and the motherly / caretaker type and have been out of the dating scene for the last 13 yrs due to marriage, so i'm not up to date on modern dating etiquette. I'm normally very intuitive and can typically read people very easily however this Taurus guy has me baffled... just when I think I understand him and his intentions he seems to back away / shut down. It's very confusing to say the least! I am a Cancer woman going through separation / divorce from my Aquarius husband of 13 yrs. Enter Mr Taurus guy... He knows quite a bit about me as we have known each other for a little over 2 yrs. He is well aware of the fact that I have been contemplating divorce for a number of months. These are the signals (?) I have been getting from him for the last 6 months or so: 1. He has been asking a lot of questions - everything from how to cook a proper steak to what my plans are for the weekend. 2. I've caught him staring at me and listening intently to conversations i'm having with other people. When I notice him staring and lock eyes with him he suddenly drops his gaze and starts clumsily looking around the room and the floor! Sometimes he will suddenly just turn and walk away as if he was not even looking in my direction! 3. When he saw me talking with an old, male, acquaintance at his office one day, he waited til he got me alone and then immediately started asking questions like "how do you know that guy" and "how long have you known him"? He played it real cool though and there wasn't the tiniest hint of jealousy in his demeanor! He just acted like he was just expressing general interest. 4. I am an avid cook & baker and I always make baked goods for friends & clients... Last week I made him an "Opera Cake" for his birthday which requires a lot of skill and time to pull off - 5 hrs to be exact! I brought him and his employees a single piece each. His immediate response after the first bite was "that's a winner!"... "that's so good I might ask you to make (me) a whole cake!" He always compliments the food I make & bring to him & his employees - in between mouth-fulls of food, as he's wolfing it down and going back for seconds of course! : D 5. He makes a point to mention all the personality traits, likes / dislikes and anything else we have in common by saying "I like that too or "I'm the same way", "I believe that too", etc. 6. Mr Taurus has been my Chiropractor for over 2 yrs, which is how we met, however, in the last several months or more he seems to go the extra mile when treating me... His appointments are supposed to be only 15 minutes long - I get 25 - 30 minutes every time I go, with no extra charge! He will also treat me in his office when he's closed for the day, or even over the weekend if I text him that my back is bothering me. No receptionists present - just him & I. He has never made a pass at me before that i'm aware of however, last Saturday when I went for treatment I felt his body pressed against my side while I was laying on the table face down. I have NEVER felt his body touching mine before! I never really paid much attention to his behavior or the topics he likes to discuss and have always passed it off as he's just being friendly until... About 3 weeks ago he suddenly began to dump his personal life / business on me out of nowhere, without me asking for information! The first thing he told me was that he has had the worst yr of his life! Next he told me that he is "always a caretaker in relationships" Then he made sure to mention that" he is not one of those MGTOW guys"... then he began telling me all about not only his latest ex... but ALL of his exes from the past! He told me everything about their personalities, when they broke up, how they broke up, even information about his latest ex being diagnosed as with narcissistic personality disorder! Finally, he asked me about my husband, how many men i've dated, how long the relationships lasted, how we broke up and how I managed to get over my exes! I was a bit shocked to say the least! Before then I had only received bits and pieces about him. Even more confusing is the fact that after that information dump was made he suddenly went mostly silent for about 2 weeks! Every time I would talk to him he would say very little to nothing at all. Whenever I would mention that he's not being very talkative, he would reply... "i'm just listening to you". He is slowly opening up again however, I feel like he is playing it cool and acting l like he's not interested now! Is he just embarrassed by his own actions and perhaps he feels like he gave too much information away and afraid he may have scared me off? I didn't see him much after the info dump because I was too busy with work to get in for an appointment. Maybe he thinks I was turned off by his behavior? Anyway... Sorry this was so long! There was a lot to unpack here. Taurus men are very complicated I think! PS. One more interesting tidbit to add... I am a business owner myself and about 2 moths ago he asked me to do business with him. This ensures that he will see me at least twice a month to handle business. i have been in contact with a taurus man for a while. only he is married .. Someone please tell me if this Taurus guy is interested in having more than a friendship with me... or am I crazy? I must admit that I am very old fashioned, and the motherly / caretaker type and have been out of the dating scene for the last 13 yrs due to marriage, so i'm not up to date on modern dating etiquette. I'm normally very intuitive and can typically read people very easily however this Taurus guy has me baffled... just when I think I understand him and his intentions he seems to back away / shut down. It's very confusing to say the least!
I am a Cancer woman going through separation / divorce from my Aquarius husband of 13 yrs.
Enter Mr Taurus guy... He knows quite a bit about me as we have known each other for a little over 2 yrs. He is well aware of the fact that I have been contemplating divorce for a number of months.
These are the signals (?) I have been getting from him for the last 6 months or so:
1. He has been asking a lot of questions - everything from how to cook a proper steak to what my plans are for the weekend.
2. I've caught him staring at me and listening intently to conversations i'm having with other people. When I notice him staring and lock eyes with him he suddenly drops his gaze and starts clumsily looking around the room and the floor! Sometimes he will suddenly just turn and walk away as if he was not even looking in my direction!
3. When he saw me talking with an old, male, acquaintance at his office one day, he waited til he got me alone and then immediately started asking questions like "how do you know that guy" and "how long have you known him"? He played it real cool though and there wasn't the tiniest hint of jealousy in his demeanor! He just acted like he was just expressing general interest.
4. I am an avid cook & baker and I always make baked goods for friends & clients... Last week I made him an "Opera Cake" for his birthday which requires a lot of skill and time to pull off - 5 hrs to be exact! I brought him and his employees a single piece each. His immediate response after the first bite was "that's a winner!"... "that's so good I might ask you to make (me) a whole cake!" He always compliments the food I make & bring to him & his employees - in between mouth-fulls of food, as he's wolfing it down and going back for seconds of course! : D
5. He makes a point to mention all the personality traits, likes / dislikes and anything else we have in common by saying "I like that too or "I'm the same way", "I believe that too", etc.
6. Mr Taurus has been my Chiropractor for over 2 yrs, which is how we met, however, in the last several months or more he seems to go the extra mile when treating me... His appointments are supposed to be only 15 minutes long - I get 25 - 30 minutes every time I go, with no extra charge! He will also treat me in his office when he's closed for the day, or even over the weekend if I text him that my back is bothering me. No receptionists present - just him & I. He has never made a pass at me before that i'm aware of however, last Saturday when I went for treatment I felt his body pressed against my side while I was laying on the table face down. I have NEVER felt his body touching mine before!
I never really paid much attention to his behavior or the topics he likes to discuss and have always passed it off as he's just being friendly until...
About 3 weeks ago he suddenly began to dump his personal life / business on me out of nowhere, without me asking for information! The first thing he told me was that he has had the worst yr of his life! Next he told me that he is "always a caretaker in relationships" Then he made sure to mention that" he is not one of those MGTOW guys"... then he began telling me all about not only his latest ex... but ALL of his exes from the past! He told me everything about their personalities, when they broke up, how they broke up, even information about his latest ex being diagnosed as with narcissistic personality disorder! Finally, he asked me about my husband, how many men i've dated, how long the relationships lasted, how we broke up and how I managed to get over my exes! I was a bit shocked to say the least! Before then I had only received bits and pieces about him. Even more confusing is the fact that after that information dump was made he suddenly went mostly silent for about 2 weeks! Every time I would talk to him he would say very little to nothing at all. Whenever I would mention that he's not being very talkative, he would reply... "i'm just listening to you". He is slowly opening up again however, I feel like he is playing it cool and acting l like he's not interested now! Is he just embarrassed by his own actions and perhaps he feels like he gave too much information away and afraid he may have scared me off? I didn't see him much after the info dump because I was too busy with work to get in for an appointment. Maybe he thinks I was turned off by his behavior?
Anyway... Sorry this was so long! There was a lot to unpack here.

PS. One more interesting tidbit to add... I am a business owner myself and about 2 moths ago he asked me to do business with him. This ensures that he will see me at least twice a month to handle business. After reading a lot about Taurean personality traits / behaviors when interested in someone... I wonder if he did this in an attempt to bring me into his inner circle? Not only as a friend but perhaps in an effort to give him a better chance to get to know / observe me.
