"Acolytes are hard capped to 4 on corrosive, the green shards do actually break this cap, however you would need + 10 total to full strip them so the point is moot"

      Hey WiredChicken,
I have seen it multiple times now and the only actually informational remark regarding the shards' necessity is a single sentence towards the very end stating you would run into roadblocks at level 2000(!! That means we can assume them to be useless before this level) if you ran the build without them. In my opinion that should have been a major segment explored from the get-go so people don't craft the shards only to never get value from them.
The build being unrealistic itself is something I have no issue with. It's specifically the way the shards are discussed. I could have been more clearer in the video regarding this point. It's gonna be covered among others things in the follow-up I'm making.

Just to note - acolytes are hard capped to 4 on corrosive, the green shards do actually break this cap, however you would need + 10 total to full strip them so the point is moot, just an observation - also I wouldn't be so quick to discount a crit mod because you can get it from "other sources" - whether or not you build into crit very specifically depends on what breakpoints you are trying to hit. Explaining how this math works is much better in my opinion then saying to mod for more damage, as getting addional crit tiers is an absolutely massive damage jump and pure oranges with 18-55% chance at reds is easily achievable with orange shards and ceramic dagger/secondary outburst - no adarza needed unless you want 100% reds about 50% of the time. One last thing is between nexus/equilibrium - I really think this comes down to mission type so I gave two loadouts that are identical with this being the only swap

    • @Norrschein
      @Norrschein  Год назад +7

      Hey Kranqi,
thanks for the details. Acolytes being capped is something I totally missed! Regarding the crit, I am simply showing what the differences are in the Mesa builds as of the recording, not saying that it's a better build. I did not want to remove every single one of my shards and simply showed the differences for the sake of transparency. I should've been clearer on that point.
I'm currently waiting on a red tao drop which will let me complete my Mesa build. At that point I will test different variants of crit tiers vs raw modded dmg among other things, before I release it to the public. The statement of building more damage refers doing that instead of going for armor strip/status, so that would include more raw damage and/or higher crit tiers. I was also a little unclear on that one, sorry.

Getting additional crit tiers is not a massive damage boost.
The first crit is the most valuable by far. Each tier of crit adds your crit damage to the normal damage of the weapon.
Using this build as an example they have 6.3x crit damage.
The first crit takes a hit doing 1x damage and makes it 6.3x damage, 530% increase, that's huge.
The next tier, orange crits, now does another 5.3x damage, additive to the last 5.3x damage, for a total of 11.6x, this is slightly less than double the damage of the yellow crit, it's an 84% increase. Much much less than 530%.
Then the red crit? The fabled red crit that warframe youtubers strive for, the golden goose of build content? That takes you to 16.9x damage, or just a 46% damage increase from orange.
Additional crit tiers are nice, but at most (with infinite crit damage) an orange crit is double yellow, and a red crit is 50% more than orange, tier 4 crits are 33% better than red, tier 5 25% better than tier 4.
Sorry for the long comment but this is another thing that happens in warframe youtube a lot, and it annoys me.

@@kranqi7496 going going from 200% to 300% crit chance (actual crit chance, not the mod values) at 2x crit damage gives 33% more damage and at infinite crit damage gives 50% more.
Almost all mods are additive to the same bonuses, crit damage, damage, and elemental all behave that way with mods within each category. So adding serration when you already have merciless takes you from 460% damage to 625%, or 36% more damage. A lot of times I see youtubers add a crit mod where serration of all things is mathematically better.
Adding a 90% element mod when you already have two 60/60 mods takes the element damage from 120% to 210%, for 75% more damage of that element. Or 51% damage if you include the base IPS of the weapon in the calculation.
Crit damage adds on to all tiers of crit, so long as you have at least 100% critical chance the final damage modifier on the weapon is just additive again, so adding bladed rounds onto viral sense takes you from 220% to 340% (as there is the base crit damage), so it's an increase of about 55%.
I don't know if that all made sense warframe maths is awkward, but tl;Dr is that red crit and beyond is overrated, only go for it if it's easy to reach, or you do the maths on other alternatives for the slot.

So, I believe a lot of the points in the video are fair statements to be made in a generalized sense. However in a few cases brought up, there are a couple issues that aren’t quite as specific as he makes it sound.
Firstly, the level cap thing *used* to be unrealistic. It used to be to find a level of enemies of any value would take hours of play in a single continuous mission that is unrealistic to the general player base at large. However, we now have content (specifically steel path Duviri) where you can have the average Joe Schmoe going 20 minutes into a run and finding those levels of enemies where lacking adequate preparation as such becomes a problem. Yes, it currently stands as only one part of Warframe, but it is a part that rewards players with the greater incarnon system and worthwhile arcanes that a large amount of players will be actively hunting for. So having a build ready for that content will make the general crowd ready for it is helpful to the community. Especially if this is a look into possibly having more of this type of content in the future with equally rewarding loot. It is still technically more specific than the rest of the gameplay, but it is not a rare or even uncommon occurrence for a player to want to go into these modes because the resources obtained from them are that good and enticing to all forms of players. A lot of returning players came back from years long hiatus just for that content.
Secondly, I agree that general content creators have to be very careful in warning players about how hefty the resource sink is for these builds and the level of necessity that each one entails. I just disagree with the example content creators (specifically Brozime because I don’t know about the other one mentioned) used for the video. Brozime is very meticulous and specific about informing players that a lot of the builds he makes on each video are not necessary for by in large a lot of the game and most are overkill. Hell mention that some of the enemies he tests these builds are will be the toughest non boss enemies to kill and that they don’t currently exist in the game at all in that state. He’s constantly replaying the entire game in free to playthroughs so that he can keep himself abreast of the current situation for new and returning players so he knows what will be worth their time to farm and build. The Kengineer and AZNvasion also are in this vein, to list a couple of examples of content creators not mentioned in the video who also make a point to call out their own builds when they are not necessary or even important to achieve for most situations or the average player and you’re better off spending your time doing anything else.
I’m not trying to diminish any of the points brought up in the video, but just informing that some of these unrealistic measures aren’t as unrealistic anymore (although they do retain some level of specificity) and that the specific creators mentioned are not really exemplary of the issues stated (for anyone unfamiliar of them who might end up avoiding their helpful content because of this video)

To add: it's also very impractical to use Regulators to armor strip at higher levels/level cap. With how slow it takes to proc all 14 corrosive status effects, you're probably going to get one shotted first before even applying the first 5 since you're exposed to damage. You're better off using a corrosive primer / weapon with high status to get the job done and then use Regulators after you strip, and even then you're still leaving yourself vulnerable.
As for the rest of the video, I think its the unfortunate effect of how Warframe youtubing has worked for the past 5 years. Creators get more clicks out of "LEVEL 9999 STEEL PATH ONE SHOT META BROKEN IMMORTAL" builds out of people regardless of their skill / knowledge level. In all fairness, most builds that scale up to level cap also work very well for normal content that the average Warframe player does without requiring a ton of set up and I think that should be obvious for most people who play the game.
If you understand how to mod, you can tweak most builds to your preferences which unfortunately the game doesn't do well to explain. Warframetubers can't always account for every use case, I mean these videos are always like 20-30 minutes in length and I'd assume 70% of the audience just skip to the build section based on the stats you see when hovering on the video.

As for chromatic in the vacuum, Exalted blade is also notable in that there's actually two "hits": The blade itself, and the wave. Both aspects of it also have infinite punch through, so it doesn't care about enemy density.
When talking about the time it actually takes to swing, the forward attack(which most players will likely be using by default) you do 4 swings every 1.4 seconds, or 1 swing every 0.35 seconds at 1 attack speed. this means it'll take 5 seconds to stack 14 procs an enemy with waves alone, or 2.5 seconds with both the wave and the slash.
Exalted blade's default attack speed is .833, but using say Quickening bumps it up to 1.17, which further bumps it down to 4.27 seconds and 2.17 seconds respectively. From there it's mostly just dependent on if you consider that too slow.(just note that all other combos take at least twice as long as the forward combo)

      Hey,
thanks for the comment! It's one thing to call it unnecessary, but for armor stripping shards specifically it's not just "overkill". It's not functional for any realistic enemy level that you would encounter playing the games' normal content. I tested it up to roughly level 450 in the same kuva survival and got no use from my green shards. That was well over 3h+ spent. My guess is you would need to be in the thousands regarding enemy level to even get consistent armor strip.
That's not mentioned whatsoever, meaning the shards are just a waste of resources for anyone not playing that niche scenario, which is why I put that in the video.

I remember in 2019 when everyone kept saying "when are you ever going to meet a level 150 corrupted heavy gunner outside of endurance runs" and then in 2020 steel path came out where everything was over 100. It's not about the here and now it's about what might come. These overkill builds may stay overkill forever, but they might not.
Also another thing I forgot to add, have you checked brozimes channel for warframe builds? cause he has builds for everyone already. The reason those videos coming out are overpowered theoretical builds is because he's already done the every day use builds for each warframe. He's done so many builds he's had to make a whole series refreshing them all.

Yes that's right. I mentioned in the video that either one of these builds is fine for any content really. However, neither of the original build videos address this point sufficiently in my opinion.

Mostly seems like you don't like the way they are building specifically and would have them rather build to your own preferences. Some people find enjoyment in pushing everything to its limit, some people find comfort knowing they are equipped for anything, and some people, like you, might enjoy dealing just "enough" damage and having other qualities enhanced. These builds aren't being presented as the best/ must have, and actually Brozime gives plenty of alternative routes as well.

If it was clear from the start that this build can't realistically armor strip anything below level 1000 or so, the amount of people who would re-create it will significantly drop and it will naturally only be done by people who actually want level cap potential.
Point being that more details and specificity will be good for the community since resources are expensive, especially the new combined shards.

I think a lot of creators fall victim to wanting to launch vids with "MAX DAMAGE NOW!!!" trends. We all know it's for views and that's fair. It is interesting to see what they come up with.
But to see new players watch those videos and think that is the end goal, then go out and blow real money on attaining these very specific builds is pretty disheartening.
I've played this game before Ember Prime first came into existence and have quit and come back time and time again.
One thing I can assure everyone is that the meta builds being produced today will not be the same in a year from now. Trust me.
A prime example of this is my old Soma Prime build. Everyone knows Soma Prime used to be an absolute monster. I left it modded according to what worked 5yrs ago. Upon my return, the gun is absolute crap in its current state. Not only because of (what is now considered poor modding - even though it was Brozime's build from back then), but also because of nerfs, etc.
My whole point if you are a newer player is. Learn to mod properly, don't over commit to any build (aka buying the meta mods, etc.). Keep your builds for general use. I rarely go past 3 forma on most weapons, because I don't like having to get multiples of super rare mods and because I don't do longterm endurance runs. I have no need for it and I'd wager to guess most normal players don't either. The best take away from any big YT build video is the concept. Don't just look at the end result, but rather, the thought process and realization involved in producing the builds.
You'll end up saving yourself a lot of time and money and end up having more fun. Trying to go back and re-forma a build because you maxed it out and it no longer works a yesr later sucks big time.

i get where you are coming from and agree to some extend. 100% agreed new players should never rush to get a new meta build within the first couple months of the content release as for one they prob arent ready for it yet anyway but by the time they actually get it the build might be changed. they havent been around long enough to look at a new update and know what de will prob nerf. i didnt get the topaz shard specifically because i knew it was going to change and de history is usually nerf to the ground and maybe a year later it will get some buffs.
i 100% disagree on the modding and forma aspect. every player should be investing into weapons that fall ~high b and up on a general teir list if they like the weapon. it is not that much investment for time for the gain of having a proper build on a weapon (note not saying to get rivens as they are a meme just having good mods and a full build). frames are iffy as most frames only need 1-2 forma to be in a good enough spot to be perfectly fine with some synergies and moderate loadouts.
the reinvestment every year or so i used to think was annoying but thb i kinda like it now. usually its not even that much reinvestment anyway. 1-2 forma at most and i get to have some fun finding some new combos and a fresh take on what was a static build at that point. on top its not that the builds from then were bad or that the mods got nerfed (tho it is true that some weapons got nerfed) its more or less that the builds just got power creeped. its more like oh this new stuff can make my old gun i liked better at the cost of having to play the game and get the new stuff.
to each their own on how they wanna play i just personally dont really understand the thought process of de introducing stuff to freshen up the game loop is bad (out side of de nerfing stuff on usage data as that is just retarded and generally either doesnt fix the core issue or is just a slap in the face for what the community finds fun). the real money thing is kinda meh as well. people are going to spend money regardless it just comes with having a premium currency on top of youtube videos. the people that are going to buy stuff are going see something cool and buy stuff regardless if its from youtube videos or some random in their lobby. been plenty of times newer players asked me for my loadout its none of my business how or if they obtain the items

@smolneko550 True. I had to condense a lot of what I wanted to say. I felt like I was saying too much. You pretty much finished my thought process(es). People will buy anything if it's the trend and you are right, it won't take a YT's influence to encourage them to spend the money.
I come from a simpler time when big builds didn't take Helminth, Archon Shards, Rivens, or Arcanes. So, admittedly, my age is showing. You make good points.
I highly recommend newer players stick to doing 3 forma max and avoid spending any umbra formas. Unless they find a frame or weapon that you absolutely love. Just don't go jumping all in on something because of what someone said and play how you want and for what makes you happy. It's supposed to be for fun before anything else.

I don't watch Warframe RUclipsrs, but in their defense, I am not going to optimize my build to complete low level content (every day base Steel Path) the fastest. I am going to optimize every warframe to excel at level cap and I won't change the build no matter what level content I am doing. When I want to do a level cap circuit run with friends or farm level cap disruption/void cascade, I do not want to make sure I chose the right config. The most I will do is swap bane mods. If you want to optimize Mesa for base steel path content, you want equipment that increases her mobility first and foremost. Agility archon shard(s), Dispatch Overdrive in the exilus slot of her melee weapon, Arcane Consequence, Amalgam Serration on her primary, Amalgam Barrel Diffusion on her secondary, etc. This is for faster completions for general content. I don't need to be as mobile at level cap as damage output and survivability matter more. I'd rather run different archon shards at level cap than the ones that would increase my QoL for general content.
However, if content creators are not informing their viewers that the displayed builds are for level cap then they are doing a disservice. I do understand where they are coming from though. As an endgame player, I will have a dedicated warframe or two to complete general content the fastest. I will not build every warframe with QoL in mind and will not build a duplicate of the warframe to alter archon shard configs. I hope you can understand this perspective.

A fair concession to this is the fact that The Circuit exists, has *way* faster level scaling, the Wyrmling Shot decree will proc Corrosive on every single shot, and Close Contagion means that on average, enemies close to your initial target will gain stacks at half the rate even if not directly hit, and overguard's maximum corrosive stack cap before it's broken will rise from 4 to 8, meaning you only need 6 more hits for full strip on thrax and eximus units once overguard is broken.
So, in the context of The Circuit, where you're at like level 1500 enemies by 30 minutes, and 4000 by an hour, green shards can absolutely make a difference. That being said, it may genuinely be preferable to go for a Tauforged Green rather than two green, since you lose that sweet 1.75x damage bonus against Ferrite Armour, and between 13x Corrosive and 1x heat proc, you've got 99% of armour completely removed, and corrosive damage further ignoring 75% of that to only be affected by 0.25x armour.

B: make another mesa and collect EVEN MORE tau shards and forma the frame and regulators…
just to do more damage in an activity I’ve already basically completed in my eyes as not every single incarnon is worth grabbing imo.

Even if the incarnon _mode_ isn't worth much, like in the case of Gorgon, the buffs alone to the base weapon for the most part make up for that.
Then again I've basically _"beaten"_ the game at this point and I'm just using collecting things and helping friends as excuses to play more.
["Her builds require a shit ton of moving parts to scale properly and retain a good kpm."]
Not a whole lot more than other frames, to be quite honest. Aside from having an exalted weapon, which is like, a known quantity, it's not terribly difficult to actually get her going. You don't even NEED corrupted or primed mods. It's just that youtubers love to minmax different mechanics to really yank out as much power as they possibly can to hit some arbitrary metric that is rarely useful to actual game progression in any meaningful away. For example, void fissures are the only game mode in which endurance content serves a functional point outside of Arbitrations (everything past 5th round is Rotation C) or the Circuit (everything past 5th round is maximum progression gain), with 95 minutes of survival being the point where all resource drop chances are doubled and all resource pickups are doubled.
Like, you CAN use Combat Discipline to proc Arcane Avenger to make Peacemakers crit more... but why, though, when you can go an hour in steel path survival even without that? Is it about whether or not you need to use the life support capsules?; are they just that bothersome to hit X on?
You could instead use the aura slot to put in Growing Power to have enough strength to max out Shatter Shield's damage reduction whilst using Precision Intensify to give Peacemaker a lot of strength without having to sacrifice efficiency or duration.
You could just put on Arcane Blessing to give Mesa a lot more health to actually chew through for Shatter Shield to defend, taking her from like 465 hp to 1665 hp. You could give her Arcane Guardian to give her enough armour to defend it beyond Shatter Shield (+900 armour takes her from 25% dr via armour to 77% dr via armour; effectively just over 66% damage reduction). This would take the 1665 from being 2247 effective health to 7242 effective health, and this is before Shatter Shield's 95% damage reduction further multiplies that by 20x, to 144,840 effective health, and if you had Adaptation, it could potentially go even higher still.
Point is, if someone doesn't have Combat Discipline or, more likely, Arcane Avenger, because Eidolons are awful and they maybe missed this event or didn't prioritize getting Avenger for the amount of time and effort they have, maybe getting a couple green shards, or even a tauforged green, maybe isn't actually all that difficult in comparison and can close the gap. Arcane Blessing is easier to get by a mile, Arcane Guardian also (it's a third of the price of Avenger if traded for, and it's relatively common by Eidolon standards).
Heck, there's even the _incredibly_ cursed builds that Helminth _over_ Peacemaker, using Muzzle Flash to blind and Ballistic Bullseye to pull some wicked forced-crit shenanigans with stuff like Tenet Plinx, Lato Incarnon, Bronco Incarnon, and potentially gas builds if using a gathering ability, and moreover it's not limited exclusively to secondaries either. The introduction of Precision Intensify only gives further power to this exact shenanigan, as it allows for things like Pillage to hit defence-stripping breakpoints with significantly less investment than it used to need.
As long as the mission gets done and you had fun, like, what's the issue? Do people really _need_ to kill like 200 enemies a minute? Maybe just getting a near-total armour strip with only one shard of investment is, like, enough that you don't feel like you need to have Combat Discipline and Arcane Avenger? Maybe you're not even using the green shards for Peacemaker; maybe they're for Tempest Barrage?
Mesa isn't really all that complicated. Like many things, people make her complicated to try and squeeze out every last drop of DEEPS, whether or not that level of DEEPS is actually requisite.

The two emerald shards set for corrosive are definitely more effective on weapons that can actually apply 14 stack before killing the target, phantasma prime or tenant cycron as examples.
But I think the consideration for 2 emerald shards on Mesa comes from topaz shards being changed from additive to multiplicative secondary critical chance requiring 4 topaz or 3 tau topaz to reach red crits. Even just using a few topaz for more consistent orange crits is more functionally useful than the corrosive but I would say it's less interesting.
Additionally brozime seems partial to parkour velocity for a more zippy Mesa's Waltz and was uninterested in using topaz shards after the corrective nerf, based on a coment he left on the video answering someone else's question.

Yeah idk about the whole armor stripping thing. Tried it myself, didn't feel a difference from my traditional build.
Like seriously, if you wanna kill stuff with the regulators, you just get a good chunk of ability strength, get some good fire rate buff with arcane velocity if you have it, invest in multishot, get galvanized shot and if you absolutely wanna scale you slap on primed heated charge, whatever else is up to you.
The reason behind this? The way regulators scale with ability strength and base damage. It's counted several times which is why galvanized shot has such an impact, it's not that you need to apply alot of one status, it's that you need to apply one of each.
That being said, corrosive shards still help, but not for regulators specifically, it's just a convenient thing to have if you have a corrosive primer for instance, but then it's not so much a Mesa thing.
If you want to remove these shards off your mesa and use them elsewhere, Yareli is a good candidate, just get a corrosive heat nukor. With that much base status chance on the weapon you're guaranteed to strip anything, and if something has shields you can still have your nukor be a magnetic progenitor to take care of that. Other weapons can be good too, but this one is just so easy to use for such good results.

I feel Brozime made it very clear that this was an extremely overkill, and expensive build. Valid takes of course but given Brozime's approach to this build being geared to lv 9999 content, it doesn't make sense to critique it based on the average player only making it to maybe lv 100-300. Also quite literally the first thing Brozime says is that you likely do not have everything for this build, I don't think it gets any clearer than that... He also mentions you do not need everything on the build, only parts of it will be powerful...

I'm not gonna lie, I watched this video out of interest because I have the frame setup for Brozime's build, but I have to say this: you talk about clarity regarding what the build is for, and I need to ask the question: how much clearer can you get than a title with "No Limits" in it?
The frame setup is great as is because Corrosive is a favourable damage type vs the main types of enemies that are going to be fought in most higher level activities, Grineer and the Grineer Corrupted enemies. Nourish + Energy Nexus is super comfy for almost everything you do on this build as you do not need to wait for Eximus to get use out of something like Equilibrium. Equilibrium is a fantastic mod, but I find it a better use case on Frames that can guarantee orbs (Voruna for example, or Protea) rather than something I just have on every frame. Preference plays a part for sure, I can definitely see that, but something that requires me to just not have my 4 turned on for a few seconds to basically fully recharge my energy to me is much more valuable on Mesa than just praying for an Eximus to show up, or praying to RNG to spawn an orb for me.
I however do not have the super investment stuff set up for it, because I don't have it, and I have the sense to not be like "omg wait this No Limits build isn't actually accessible?".
What do I have as a result of following Brozime's build? I have a super comfy Mesa with a favourable damage type vs all the enemies I will typically be killing, that requires minimal effort to pilot in just about anything, that has the potential to go very high in Endurance if I ever choose to do that (I don't like Endurance, and you can do Endurance with way, way less kitted out frames).
If the point is "think of the new players", I absolutely agree with you in 99% of cases, seeing builds where every single "easy build" has maxed arcanes and shards and stuff is very irritating and I had this exact problem returning to the game. But in this particular case, with Brozime's overinvestment build that he very clearly states is overinvestment, I don't think the argument really holds up here.
I'm not trashing your point, because overall I agree with most of what you've said, but I think that if you want to go after subpar buildmaking for new players, a build that Brozime has tweaked from his other build he was clear about basically nobody having all the stuff for it isn't the particular target I think you should be going after here. I think this build is a clear cut case of a build very much not intended for new players, or players just stepping into the world of Warframe buildcrafting.

    • @wellardsharks

The point is moreso that the build in question gets 0 benefit from the green shards. It presents a purely hypothetical idea of Mesa applying 14 corrosive procs to armour strip before killing the enemy, and yet Brozime's own video shows that this never happens. It's a waste of resources to put on Mesa because she gets 0 benefits.

Yep good analysis. MHBlacky's build is also kinda heavy on the energy if my memory serves me right, he markets it as a very end game cause of how he builds it but it's very unsustainable cause of the energy efficiency on it is just straight up bad. I critiqued a different RUclipsr's build on a specific frame the other day and I got his fans seething at me. That RUclipsr or any "influencer" for that matter are not the only LR3 and vets of the game that knows how to build their stuff. Their fans that are mostly new to the game will defend them like I've hurt them personally cause no vet their worth their salt would use that build nor even think of putting certain combinations of mods that are just plainly impractical for actual use. I've had found some interesting stuff from the same RUclipsr that I've incorporated on my own builds but I'd comment about it if they're giving the wrong information.
I've noticed that some of the RUclipsrs lately don't even have practical builds, it looks nice on paper and MLG type meme videos but the amount of set up they do before they even hit record is just not practical and the amount of newbies thinking they could replicated those builds and asking for them are insane. I ask for builds cause they pique my interest but it's not that I'm gonna actually do it cause like I said the set up are sometimes more than it being usable, I just wanna see if I overlooked something that I could take from their builds to min max some stuff without going all out into meme territory.
6:38 at least KnightmareFrame actually uses the builds he usually makes for end game at end game. He usually starts the video with a montage of him killing level 9999 mobs. Then people get mad at him for making "unrealistic" over the top full of Primed and Galvanized mod setups when he actually markets it as an actual end game setup. Actual end game players would have the mods and resources to actually replicate it besides a Riven cause Rivens are Rivens.

Not because I think he's particularly bad at building or because it's "unrealistic" to go that far, but because he calls just about anything broken, especially when the interaction is above average at best. Like, not everything needs a supreme drop level of hype. You figured out a sidegrade to other shit that can be done at 9999 that's arguably less efficient than what could be done by the 20 people who actually want to play a mission that long, you don't need to try and trick me into believing that Yareli is suddenly god tier because of it.

I think there's an argument to be made that the goal of a corrosive build woudn't necessarily be to fully armor strip, but to remove enough armor to chew up the enemies while leaving enough armor to keep the damage bonus for enemies weak to corrosive damage. If the two shards are enough to make armor almost negligeable and drop the EPH of enemies to an insignificant level, does it really matter if a sliver or armor still remains ? That said I do think ppl like Brozime end up sounding arrogant with their builds most of the time , not bothering to explain the math or justify their choices and not proposing any alternatives or why they didn't choose any of the augments, for example, as if it wasn't required of them to justify their build choices. For years I looked at Brozime's build and I was puzzled at them, like why no survivability mods ? Why so much energy efficiency ? Why putting Roar and Red Shards on every single frame ?... It's ok to have your own preferences, but I pretty much never copy any of Brozime's builds... Sometimes I take inspiration from them, but they just don't work for me most of the time... Like his gauss build is all duration, zero survivability mods, no preparation to be able to start the mission running from the start ... Whyyy ? They guy will put a 15% duration mod over a survivability mod or prime flow for some reason... Such a wierd build maker...

Build for duration, efficiency and power strength. Key mods I use:
Mesa's waltz, fits in exidus slot, mine isn't even ranked up, I just need to be able to roll
Rolling guard to clense debuffs and on tap invincibility
Narrow minded, transient fortitude, umbra or normal intensify, primed or normal continuity are key mods I use for the stat set up. You may need to umbra forma a slot if you can and do isolation vaults for the corrupted mods. currently there are alerts on the weekend to get one corrupted mod per week (currently is blind rage, which I don't recommend on her until very end game, though it's very strong on a lot of other frames)
And key one: equilibrium, which let's you pick up energy while walking and rolling.
For steps further, the arcanes I run are molt argmented and molt efficiency
For more, I swapped her one for silence, which works well with negative range, though this can be swapped for say norish and something else ya like.
This all being said, her shatter shield should always be up, that buff is some insane mitigation. Make sure your keeping her shooting gallery and shatter shield up. Also why I like duration on her, because less buff upkeep time.
