Update: As of late July 2024, nearly 4 months after posting this Short: - Etrata went from $1 to $1.20 (meh) - Marchesa got reprinted in OTC, going from $1.50 to $0.30 - Ramses went from $1 to $8 In retrospect, I probably should have mentioned Mari, the Killing Quill. She bottomed out at $0.50 after the OTC reprint, but is now in the $6 range.
It will be popular, but 5 colour with an emphasis on one colour is kind of tough to run unless you have an optimal mana base. Some might have more success in 2/3 colours with Altair or Ramses. Edit: it's only the loses the game trigger that requires all 5 colours, so yeah, looks like it will be the definitive assassin commander. Weird that they would do that since it kills all creativity, but oh well.
When I refer to "tribal" in a video about MTG, I'm using the colloquial game term to describe synergies between creatures of the same creature type. In no way am I referring to the marginalized indigenous peoples of North American. I'd rather contribute to a solution to their strife than argue semantics.

There's a ezio five color that should be your choice for a assassin tribal gives all your assassins free running

@@JayoticMTGYou can still run him in whatever colors you want by going full mono black and just using the free running ability
My Ramses voltron deck has been able to win a 5 person game on turn 5, making use of interaction like Astarion's thirst
I enjoy running Kelsien, the plague for the mardu assassins. Dudes completely slept on.
i already have marchesa and etrata for my future assassin deck
Ramses is great with Ezio!
I made a Connor Kenway voltron deck with Ramses as the Finisher
You could also run a generic tribal commander like morophon, to get all of the colors
Assassin’s Creed is giving us a 5 colour Ezio that’s basically going to become the de facto assassin tribal commander.
I have two of those cards in my assassin's creed WUBRG deck. I didn't take etrata. I used the other one.
Ramses into bond of agony goes crazy
Pulled Katio tonight
what’s the point of saying Kindred (which isn’t the correct term, that goes to Typal) if you’re just going to say Tribal a second later?
was that a donkey kong sound effect at the start?
Thwomp
Thwomp from Mario 64!
Whoever said Erata was a bulk rare clearly never played my deck that won CEDH games on FNMs.
Bulk rare doesn’t necessarily mean unplayable, just inexpensive haha
No because I already had them in multiple various types too...GIVE ME THE MONEY
You’ve definitely made some money is you plan on offloading haha
Don't do Etrata too dirty. Great against green players with chonky creatures you can steal.
It’s called tribal not kindred
Kindred... Eww... Just say Tribal for sake...
None of these seem particularly good tbh
It’s weird that you’re still using tribal.
