Finally… some one willing to admit the ranunculus ha given them problems. I’m working thru my 4 th attempt. Halfway through the yoke now and think it may work out v the sweater is so lovely I think it’s worth the attempts. Onward!!!
I have been going to Rhinebeck for over 25 years. I am going this year. Yes yes yes ! I am debating on which day. Sat is just so crowded and hard to get into the booths. Sunday is a much better day to go. So it all depends on the weather for me this year. Last year I shared a fleece with someone. This year I want to purchase a sweater quantity of yarn and some spinning fiber. Love the chevron style sweater you are knitting. It’s gorgeous. How fortunate for you to find a lovely cone of boucle. That’s awesome. Looking forward to your next video 😊
Wow that is amazing! I love a good tradition! I really hope the weather holds out for the whole weekend! Good luck finding your yarn and thanks so much for watching 💛
I always try on the sweater/yoke before splitting for sleeves. ALWAYS. For me the benefit of the top down sweater is being able to try it on as I go along and make adjustments for fit so that when I’m done i have a custom fitted garment. That fits like it was made for me… which it is. I’m never disappointed at the end.
The spooky theme is adorable!! I’ll be attending NY Sheep & Wool! Saturday is very very crowded and busy in my experience, so going to stay for Sunday this time to have some more time to browse and see all the things!
Hi Nora! Regarding pictures of yarn - I like to go to Ravelry and search for the yarn in people's stashes and search for projects made with that yarn only. This gives a wide range of pictures of the yarn in different lighting. Hope that helps!
My main project right now is the Basketweave Pullover by Melissa Leapmqn for our 21 year old grandson''s hiking adventures this winter. I'm using two strands of Holtsgarn Supersoft (color Truffle) together with one of Titicaca (color Hickory). These are my favorite yarns to hold together, although typically I use one and one in place of dk yarns. This combo knits to gauge for a worsted weight sweater. After washing it is wonderful, although for knitting, it's a bit had on the hands for some folks. I purchase cones of supersoft that have spinning oil on them. For smaller amounts, you can buy 50gm balls, although I find it more economical to buy the cones, as our four grandkids are all in their 20s (big sweaters and knit-worthy!) so I have enough yarn in any color they like for a sweater plus hat and gloves or hand warmers. And, leftovers for colorwork.
That sounds so beautiful! They are so lucky to have you knitting for them! I will have to look into your yarn combo-I am hoping to get around to a big knit for my man sooner than later. The more yarn, the merrier! Happy knitting 💛
Your sweaters are coming out great! Yes, I'm going to Rhinebeck. I usually go every year, but I haven't gone since pre-COVID. Looking forward to going this year. I plan on going on Saturday (hope it's nice weather). If it is pouring, then I'll go Sunday. Saturdays are usually much more crowded, the podcasters meet on the hill, I think at 1:00 -- this is usually a crowded spot too. The food truck lines are usually long, so plan your lunch. Hope to see you there!
Love your happy podcasts 😀. I did the GSR’s on the sleeves. It gives you a diagonal shape. I liked it. I did three quarter length sleeves. I have an 87cm bust and did a size 6. I used a fingering weight yarn on 6cm needles. I probably should have done a size 7 to get a more oversized look. Anyway, point being, my sleeves didn’t turn out balloon sleeves like your picture. I think to get that effect you would need to size up. Measure your swatch and calculate the number of stitches after you split for body. Keep up the good work and happy knitting 🧶
Awesome intro! And, always love your little editing additions! Your Ranunculus is so beautiful on you! That color is stunning and looks like it glows - LOVE it! Good job on your cardigan and test knit progresses! 😊
Thank you so much! The loose weave just didn’t look right with this yarn. I am also very torn on a circular yoke being so oversized. The rag,an increases certainly help in this scenario, but I’d be interested to see how a chinkier yarn would work up in the pattern for myself. I love the color too 🥰
Such a cute episode! Love the spooky theme, it got me in the mood to do some decorating too. I just cast on the Edgar Slipover which has (gasp) twisted ribbing and a split hem and a double folded collar in twisted rib, none of which I have done previously. But hey, onward and upwards through the mistakes! How hard can it be? The color of your Ranunculus on you is truly spectacular. You glow in it, not because the neck is too tight either! Best of luck with the test knit deadline, the contrast and texture you have created just make me want to reach out and touch it. Thanks for a lovely 47 minutes!
This is so kind 🥰 I am glad I could help get you in the spooky spirit! I hope your Slipover turns out great!!!! Thank you for the compliment and for being here 💛
Thank you so much! I have heard a lot of designers speak about how they think it’s important to get the perspective of a beginner for their patterns. I think I am an adventurous beginner at this point so I don’t mind being the guinea pig! 🐹
Your ranunculus is super cute on! I’ve typically got 5-6 projects of various types on the needles and then tend to focus on one as it starts to reach the finish line first. Have not joined the ranunculus party and typically go for more tailored garments. Glad you have found the joy of pure wool! I find it a dream to work with and wear and is definitely my preferred fiber. Thanks for such a fun episode! 🤗
Thank you so much! I really am loving it! 5-6?! I don't think I can handle that much multitasking hahah. I'm glad that you have a system that works for you!
If you're skipping the slip stitches just put a marker there before you get to the 3 and then you'll have your reminder. 😊 I have to say you're doing so well and you haven't even knitted a year! Wow! And you took on the Rannunculus! I haven't even done it yet. But I plan to this winter. But actually trying in is something I always do in top down. I use interchangeables so I just pull off my needles, hook on another cord and bam. Oh and yes I love to know all the deets! Size knitted, needle size, yarn size, start date.... 😊It just gives me a median idea to start from. I'm not a super fast knitted. I knit fast for an English knitted but I don't whip a sweater off needles on 3 days. I'm working on the Rain Romance sweater by Drops, on size US 8 and US4 (ribbing) and I'm on the last sleeve. It has taken about 10 days. But I stopped for a bit to start Cardigan no. 8 by My Favourite Things Knitwear. 8 am so tempted to cast on several things but I get overwhelmed by it so I just try to work on one thing at a time. But I just needed to see the yarn in using. I hate acrylic and bought this amazingly wooly looking super soft acrylic, Jewels pun by Sirdar in Sandstone Sunset and it is amazing. It'll be nice for a throw on that can go in the wash. Otherwise everything I have knit has been natural fiber. I normally hate acrylic because it tends not to breathe and I get overheated. Omg I'm chasing with you like I'm talking. So sorry! I'll stop!
So smart! Definitely going to keep that in mind for next time. And thank you 🥰 I am usually better about trying something on, I just can't be bothered if I am already all snuggled up on the couch 😅 I will try to include the start date from now on! Thank you!!!
Isn’t it the most amazing feeling when you first try on your sweater and it fits and looks perfect?! PS I started my Rununculus 4 times!! And I’m baffled by the hype of it. 🤔
Hello!! 👋 this is my favorite knitting podcast by far ❤ my current wip is the melange sweater by petite knit. It’s also my fist time knitting a sweater 😅
Hello Nora. I just found your channel today and I am very impressed with your knitting skills for the short time you have been knitting. I have been teaching knitting since 1982 and most people don't advance that fast. Mainly, I think because they don't want to take chances. I have students currently, who have been knitting for years and are still not at the level you are. Keep going strong. I love your Korshavn cardigan. I would like that in a vest.
Hi there!!! Thank you so much! I don’t have friends who knit so I haven’t had a way to gauge my progress until I started this channel. I do tend to just dive in head first on new things, but I didn’t even realize how far I’d come. I really appreciate you pointing that out. 🥰 I believe that there is a pullover version of the Korshavn Cardigan, but not 100% if there is a vest pattern too. Certainly enough there to hack! Do let me know if you give it a try! Thank you for being here 💛
very cool intro..... Yesssssssssssss Italian bind off.... i keep hearing about this bind off... The Ranunculus LOOKS GREAT ON YOU …. Love your ear rings ❤
Thank you!!! Sounds like your spooky stitches! Give it a shot! Thank you so much! I really love it! And thank you, they are my go-to earrings. I can't even remember when I got them, but they get a lot of love 🥰
I've used the German short rows from the sleeves in other patterns now too! It's really good for any short sleeves where you notice that its not an even horizontal line. Most commonly I notice the armpit side will be longer than the side that grows from the shoulder, but you might also have situations where the opposite happens. I've haven't knitted full length sleeves yet, since I live in Florida and I just picked up knitting this summer, so I can't say if its an issue or if the short row shaping helps there. But for half sleeve and shorter, I find the trick super useful.
Nora, I am loving your podcast!! I especially appreciate your editing - I know that's a lot of work but I love when the little dog pops up and it makes me laugh. I can't believe you've only been knitting less than a year!! Both (strike that, all - I forgot about the cardigan) of your sweaters look fantastic. 🦇
Omg I love your videos and your personality! Girl I clicked subscribe at the intro before I even started watching the podcast lol. I can't wait to continue watching!!!❤❤
I'm so so glad I found your podcast. I smile from the start right the way to the end, and then very much look forward to the next one. Your ranunculus is looking fab, well all your knitting, but I have a soft spot for the ranunculus. I hope you have a lovely week, and I'm excited for the next episode 😊 💓
First time seeing you and one of your podcasts. I found you quite entertaining and refreshing. For a relatively new knitter you are doing very beautiful work, I applaud you 👏🏾😊👍🏾 I also liked your comment on human error. As a person who isn't into perfection and who very blithely accepts her mistakes (and keeps on moving), I thought you made a lot of sense. You are even making me consider making a Ranunculus. I've had no real interest in making one but who knows...maybe it's time.
I adore your podcast sooo much! you are so fun to watch, it's like hanging out with a girlfriend. I love how real you are and how funny you are. You inspire me to step out and try new things in knitting! Also I love that you updated your intro for the season. so cute! PS that Frank Ocre looks sooo good on you! You're making me want to try to knit a ranunculus
You may have convinced me to give the Ranunculus a go! 😂 Loving the spooky theme, and it worked out that I tackled a new Spooky Stitch this week! My newest WIP has a tubular cast-on with a provisional cast-on, and I'm TERRIFIED to pull the provisional stitches -- should get to that point in a couple days, and 🤞🏻 that I like it, because this was so much easier than the other tubular cast-on that I was doing before!
If you are interested, definitely utilize the comments section in my 3rd episode for really great ranunculus advice! I hope that you love it and I’m glad that you found a way to do it that works for you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I clicked so fast ☺️. Your videos are so much fun. I love the spooky 👻 theme and the challenge to knit or create something that scares you. I’ve got it in my head to make the Beginner Jacket from Petite Knits for my little boy and nieces. I find this super spooky as a beginner (aka, these will be my first knitting projects); wish me luck 🍀. And the textured sweater looks amazing. 💚🧶💚
Thank you so so much!!! I just looked up the pattern and I have total confidence in you! Every knitting project is best accompanied with deep breaths and a bit of grace. You got this!!!!! Good luck!
You are officially my Saturday Morning Cartoon (pod cast show). I look forward to you show every Saturday! Ok now to get back to the regularly scheduled program. 😁
Your Ranunculus is coming out beautifully! I ordered some Susurro in Paris Night and should be able to start by the end of the week. Happy knitting! 🧶❤️
your videos are fantastic! I tried two spooky things this week. Italian cast on and afterthought heel. Turned out more stressful than spooky, but got them done.
I was inspired by your earlier video to cast on my first Ranunculus and…I love it! I will definitely make another one, probably a short sleeved summer version 😊
Omg! I love your podcast soooo much! I smile the entire time. It has easily become one of my “set an alert for new episodes and watch immediately” choices. Lol. Your ranunculus looks amazing. The colors is perfection on your skin tone! Love it. You’ve almost convinced me to jump on the ranunculus train. 💗
Ahhhhh thank you so much!!! That means so much 🥰 I am loving the color and I'm hoping the pattern stays easy for the rest of the way! Yoke was am uphill battle but it's been smooth sailing ever since. To be honest, I only cast it on to see what the hype was--I didn't actually think I would want one in my wardrobe. But the more I've had it on the needles, the more I've realized that the texture is quite subtle and I think it looks really pretty! It's nice that you can completely change the look depending on your yarn and which style you choose. I can start to see what everyone is talking about....
Both sweaters look great. I have a test knit to finish and them I will try some scary brioche. Get my big girl pants on and try it. Love your spooky spirit.
I just finished my first ranunculus, which should be dry now. News to me about short rows in the sleeves, I guess I didn't read that part. Watching your struggles with the pattern gave me flashbacks to mine.
I love your podcasts! Your energy and enthusiasm is infectious. I just wish we saw more of your cute little pup! Anyway, love what you are doing and love the thought of trying something that spooks you this month. I'll have to think about what I want to do for mine!
She's all over my IG stories! I'll get her to co-host with me one of these days 😂 Thank you for watching and I hope that you find your something spooky!!!
It’s literally so funny how you explained all the things when knitting and trying on the yolk I literally do get up and take off my sweater/Jammie’s 😂 and try it on I think it’s just because I’m always so excited to split for sleeves so I do try it on 😂
The ranunculus looks amazing! I'm am inspired to cast mine on. But....that Korshavn cardi looks pretty amazing too...I want to finish my No Frills sweater and the Westknits MKAL shawl before I cast on anything new.
Thank you!!!! I love my Korshavn so much--this is my second! Get those guys done and then figure out what you need on the needles--Ranunculus requires a little more brain power and Korshavn is a lot of knitting, but the chart is easy to memorize! Good luck choosing!
I absolutely love your podcasts and look forward to Saturday mornings soooo much now! I LOVE the spooky background! How fun!! I’m working on my first ranunculus all because you inspired me to. So thank you! I hope you have a productive week of knitting and I can’t wait to see you again next Saturday! 👻💗
I did the short rows on the body but I didn’t want the high/low you’d get with the short rows on the sleeves. I knit around until I got the sleeve length I wanted and did decreases called for in pattern the icord bind off. I’ve made 4. Have fun!
❤ the spooky idea. I’m knitting a textured sweater, spooky spooky! I-cord bind off tip, size down when you do it so it doesn’t roll up on you. I hated that on my latest tee!
I love the spooky vibes 😍 also, if (big IF) you decide to make a second ranunculus, I'm on board to make one alongside you 😉. I'm prepping my Etsy shop for my first holiday season ever (which is incidentally my "spooky" thing this month!) so making a ranunculus is on my list for 2024!
Thank you! IF I do make a second, it will definitely be next year! I would be so intrigued to see how smoothly things go a a second time around….certainly, I’ll keep y’all posted!
As always, your episodes are so fun to watch! For me #spookystitches2023 would defintely be doing the Italian Bind off on the bottom of my sweater. I thought it would never end but I'm glad I persevered because the finish is so worth it 🦇
Thank you so much! The first time I tried the Italian bind off included many tears and frustration 😂 it gets easier each time. I’m glad you made it through!!!! 🦇
Hi Nora. Love the spooky vibes in your podcast!! 👻 First of all I love what your wearing, it looks lovely! And although I haven't attempted the ranunculus, yet, um, I'm going to use the same yarn and color your using. I think it's beautiful. Take care and happy knitting or crafting.
Thank you! I am loving the spooky vibes myself! I should have mentioned that it was a simple granny square cardigan I free-styled a year ago. I highly recommend the Frank Ochre colorway! Especially in this yarn--it is practically glowing! Thank you so much 🥰 happy making to you!
Love your podcasts Nora 😄🧶💗. Your podcast was a recommendation from RUclips and since my granddaughter’s name is Nora…I had to check it out…so glad I did 😍. Are you going Rhinebeck this year? Would love to meet you 😊
When I knit my long sleeved Ranunculus I did not do the short rows-I skipped right to section 9 then did the icord bind off. My sleeve has that slight balloon that you like. I would think that the size of the balloon would correspond to the amount of ease in the body. You could also do increases on the sleeve to make it more balloonimous (new word, right there lol), but I think you will be happy with the sleeve as written in section 9. I DID add 4 extra stitches on each sleeve. At underarm I picked up (1 more than pattern said) sts, k1, m1L, knit until 1 st remains, m1R, k1, pick up (1 more than pattern said) sts, PM for BOR/EOR. Okay I've edited this comment to add like 3 times lol. I think I'm done.
I think I'm in love with Frank Ochre 😍 I'm knitting the long sleeve version right now, first time for this pattern for me, and I didn't even think to not do the short rows 🤣 guess we'll see what happens lol 26:49
Don't steal my man 😂 Frank Ochre is my dream colorway--I LOVE IT! I think it's my laziness wondering if I can get away without them. Keep me posted on what you decide to do!
🌴☀️OMG HIIIIII 🙋🏽♀️ so good to see this video popup…guess who bought the Ranunculus pattern🫣 it’s all YOUR FAULT lol. I’m trying to decide on the cast on I want German or tubular…we’ll see. Ok going to watch the video now☀️🌴
Your videos are so fun. My #spookystitches2023 is sock knitting but I am going to give it a go in October. I will be at Rhinebeck Sat and maybe Sunday, and possibly Cake on Friday. Too expensive to pay to go to everything with my daughters with me.
Did you crochet your black top? and your Ranunculus color looks fantastic on you!! So glad it fits! I just finished crocheting the last baby blanket for the year! I am working on a gift knit hat for my best friend on Fingerling so i had to do some math for that and so far it's coming along good the hat I am knitting is "4 Sisters Toque Collection by Cozy Up Knits" (Jamie the Chatterbox) (the burgundy hat) It is a cables and lace. I am planning to cast on my selfish knitting helpfully this week that is the Pressed flower shawl in Autumn colors! 🦇
I did! I forgot to mention that 😅 thank you!!! I hope your selfish knitting gets here sooner than later! You deserve that shawl! I am very intrigued by the "Pressed Flowers" collection. I hope it is as fun to knit as it looks! 🦇 thank you!
I skipped the short rows for my long sleeve ranunculus. I can't remember how it said to finish them, maybe I followed the pattern, maybe not, but I did an I-cord bind-off on the sleeves and I really like it.
I am not using instagram at this time but i think my current spooky stitches is the stephen west MKAL! I am learning a lot of more techniques already :)
Nora I love your podcast! Professor Purl has an even easier way to transition between skeins than helical knitting that might interest you. Would you mind sharing what video editing software you use? I am getting ready to start my podcast back up and don’t like the changes that have been made to my software. Thanks again for the great content!
Great to know! I had no clue there was any other option-definitely going to check it out. I use adobe premiere pro for my editing software. It’s tricky to figure out at first, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot easier!
#spookystitches2023……. Applied I-cord and I DID NOT size down. Ugh. I might have to rip it back because it’s rolling up. If I do, I’ll only work on it on Saturday mornings so I can watch you instead of getting annoyed with redoing an entire I-cord. Your podcast is the best!!
👋 Hi! I love the spooky setting! I’m just a crocheter so I admire your bravery for trying so many new things. I was also admiring your granny cardigan. Did you make it? It looks perfect for spooky season. I’m currently working on an orange/white/black solid granny sweater for my teenage daughter who loves spooky season so much she has Halloween themed birthday parties in March. ❤️
Hello!!! Thank you so much for watching! I did indeed make my granny cardigan--as part of a matching skirt and cardi set last year! I'll have to share more about it at some point. You never know! I'm a crocheter turned knitter--I love having the different skills for different reasons. One thing I'll never stop crocheting are granny squares. They really are the best. I love that for your daughter!!! I hope she's obsessed with it! 💛
Finally… some one willing to admit the ranunculus ha given them problems. I’m working thru my 4 th attempt. Halfway through the yoke now and think it may work out v the sweater is so lovely I think it’s worth the attempts. Onward!!!
We're in this together!!! It hasn't been smooth sailing, but I'm happy I stuck with it! Good luck with yours!!!
I really appreciate your forgiveness and embracing the learning process with adding techniques. 🎉
Happy Knitting!

That is such great practice--it's my desire to be surprised in the end that really gets me. I have to be better!
I am amazed, when I learned how little time you have had in knitting ,how much you have learned and done, beautifully!!! - you are doing fabulous!!!!
Thank you so much 🥰
I love your intros. I get so excited when I see you have a new video. I love your enthusiasm and humor.
That makes me so happy to hear! Thank you so much!
Brioche.....ooooo....spooky!! Ok I'll try it! :0
Brioche spooks me too! Unless we're talking about French Toast--that's my kind of Brioche 😂
I knit the long sleeve ranunculus with the German short rows and I really loved it! It’s elegant and finished.
Sooooo good to know! Thank you!
Absolutely!! 💯 on Rhinebeck. Sunday is much less chaotic.
I’ve heard the same thing from a few people! Might be better for a first timer 😊
The spooky theme is adorable!! I’ll be attending NY Sheep & Wool! Saturday is very very crowded and busy in my experience, so going to stay for Sunday this time to have some more time to browse and see all the things!
Thanks so much! So good to know, thank you! I hope you have great finds!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🥰
Love your version of the ranunculus, much nicer than the loose weave and baggy look. The colour looks fabulous on you too. 😍

You are joyful! Love your fun free loving spirit, AND stepping up to “test-knitter” so quickly! Wow!’
Thank you so much! I have heard a lot of designers speak about how they think it’s important to get the perspective of a beginner for their patterns. I think I am an adventurous beginner at this point so I don’t mind being the guinea pig! 🐹

I will try to include the start date from now on! Thank you!!!
🦇 I’m here for runuculous tips! Thank you! 🌼
🦇🦇🦇 Your Korshavn Cardigan is looking fantastic. I’m excited to see the antler buttons on it too. Thanks for keeping me company while I knit 🙂
🦇 thank you!!! I am loving it--can't wait to have it in my wardrobe! Thanks for hanging out with me 🥰
Isn’t it the most amazing feeling when you first try on your sweater and it fits and looks perfect?! PS I started my Rununculus 4 times!! And I’m baffled by the hype of it. 🤔
Such a great feeling!! I am honestly with you. I feel more hyped about the yarn I used than the pattern lol
And I don’t know how people make it in a weekend!
Hello!! 👋 this is my favorite knitting podcast by far ❤ my current wip is the melange sweater by petite knit. It’s also my fist time knitting a sweater 😅
Thank you so much!! I’m glad you’re giving it a shot! I hope you fall in love with it!!!!
Thank you for being here 💛
Indeed there is! Korshavn Slipover www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/korshavn-slipover
Thanks for checking on that. I haven't had time to go check. Have a great day.
Love your ranunculus. I also love lots of positive ease.
Hi from England! Love your podcast. Love your energy. Love Stella and Eliie
Thank you so much!🥰
very cool intro.....
Great color on you. Great job. Pleasure to watch you .
Thank you!!!
That makes so much sense! Thank you!!!
That looks gorgeous on you. Great color for you
Thank you so much - it is my favorite color!
Thank you so much for noticing 💛 I am so happy that it brings you as much joy as it does for me. Thank you thank you thank you! 🦇
Omg I love your videos and your personality! Girl I clicked subscribe at the intro before I even started watching the podcast lol. I can't wait to continue watching!!!❤❤
Ahhhhhh 🥰 thank you so so much! Welcome to the crew!!!
Love, love your ranunclous! I am going to try one... and tubular cast on. Just did my first Italian bind off. Yay!
Thank you!!! Congratulations on your new skill! It gets easier with each time you do it!!!
Thank you so much for saying that 🥰 you are very kind! Thank you so much- I really am loving how it is turning out! Happy knitting 💛
Love how your Ranunculus is going. That color is wonderful.
Thank you!!!
First time seeing you and one of your podcasts. I found you quite entertaining and refreshing. For a relatively new knitter you are doing very beautiful work, I applaud you 👏🏾😊👍🏾
I also liked your comment on human error. As a person who isn't into perfection and who very blithely accepts her mistakes (and keeps on moving), I thought you made a lot of sense. You are even making me consider making a Ranunculus. I've had no real interest in making one but who knows...maybe it's time.
Thank you so so much! 🥰 the pattern really threw me for a loop. I never expected to like it, but it really has changed my mind!
Oh my goodness!!! I love the spooky theming 🎃🍂👻
Thank you!!! 🎃
Thank you so much! That’s exactly the environment I want to create here! I so appreciate your comment 💛 thank youuu
I was encouraged to finally cast on a Ranunculus and I’m loving it! I hope you do too😊
If you are interested, definitely utilize the comments section in my 3rd episode for really great ranunculus advice! I hope that you love it and I’m glad that you found a way to do it that works for you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Love this!
Love the podcast and the Ranunculus. I love those sleeves too so can’t wait to see the decision on how the sleeves are done.
Thank you!!! 🥰
Good luck!
@@akaNoraKnits aw, thank you. 🥰 Here comes the deep breaths 🤞
LOVE the texture contrast you ended up getting with the lace boucle yarn, and super glad you're excited about it! 🦇🦇🦇
Thank you!!! I can't wait to see it in the full scale! It also feels good to use some stash yarn! 🦇 thank you so much for watching!
great colour ranunculus! i’m going to rhinebeck…last year was my first time going and it’s so great we’re going back…hopefully you make it there
Thank you!! That is exciting to hear! I really hope I can get there! Have fun!!!
Love how they
Ranunculus looks.
You are officially my Saturday Morning Cartoon (pod cast show). I look forward to you show every Saturday! Ok now to get back to the regularly scheduled program. 😁
Greatest comment of all time. Thank you so so much! 🥰
You only need to do short rows for the Ranunculus sleeves if you are doing the diagonal cuff. Which I believe is for three quarter length sleeve.
Interesting! I didn't look into it too much, I'll have to reread that part! Thank you!
The production level and flow of your videos are so good and so fun. A joy to watch ☺️
Thank you so so much! I so appreciate that! 🥰
Your Ranunculus is coming out beautifully! I ordered some Susurro in Paris Night and should be able to start by the end of the week. Happy knitting! 🧶❤️
Thank you! Looking up colorway now........................GORGEOUS! I'd buy it just for the name 😍 I think that will be beautiful! Good luck!
your videos are fantastic! I tried two spooky things this week. Italian cast on and afterthought heel. Turned out more stressful than spooky, but got them done.
Thank you so much! I bailed on that Italian cast on the first time I saw it and conquered it for my Korshavn cardigan. Good on you!!!
I was inspired by your earlier video to cast on my first Ranunculus and…I love it! I will definitely make another one, probably a short sleeved summer version 😊
Ahhhh yay! I am so glad you love it!
💐🌿watch’in again lol🌿💐
The color of the ranunculus is gorgeous - looks great!
Thank you!!!
Both sweaters look great. I have a test knit to finish and them I will try some scary brioche. Get my big girl pants on and try it. Love your spooky spirit.
Thank you!!! Let's get these test knits done!!! I hope your brioche doesn't wind up being too spooky! Good Luck!
I just finished my first ranunculus, which should be dry now. News to me about short rows in the sleeves, I guess I didn't read that part. Watching your struggles with the pattern gave me flashbacks to mine.
I am happy that it is done for you 😂
Your ranunculus is looking absolutely stunning! I love the spooky setting and your skeleton names are awesome 😁🦇
Thanks so much! 🦇
I absolutely love your Ranunculus!!! It’s a perfect fit and the color is fabulous!
Thank you so much 🥰
I love your podcasts!
I love the idea for spooky stitches! I’be currently got the Sunday sweater by Petite knit on the needles
That one is so pretty! I hope it turns out just right!!!
It’s literally so funny how you explained all the things when knitting and trying on the yolk I literally do get up and take off my sweater/Jammie’s 😂 and try it on I think it’s just because I’m always so excited to split for sleeves so I do try it on 😂
You have more strength than me 😂 I just hope for the best and get angry later when it doesn't work out!
Thank you for being here 🥰 I hope your Ranunculus goes smoothly!!! Thank you and happy knitting 💛
Love the spooky intro!
Thank you!!! 🎃
I did the short rows on the body but I didn’t want the high/low you’d get with the short rows on the sleeves. I knit around until I got the sleeve length I wanted and did decreases called for in pattern the icord bind off. I’ve made 4. Have fun!
Great to know! Thank you!!!
❤ the spooky idea. I’m knitting a textured sweater, spooky spooky! I-cord bind off tip, size down when you do it so it doesn’t roll up on you. I hated that on my latest tee!
Ahhhh all the spooky! You got this! Excellent tip-- thank you so much!
Thanks for another fun video. 🦇
Thank YOU for watching 🦇
Love the spooky opening !
Нора. ты очень позитивный человек! Проекты все супер!!!🤩👻👍💮
Большое спасибо! (Google translate--I hope that worked 😂)
Another great spooky podcast, your ranunculus is looking fantastic.
Happy Saturday
Thank you so much 🥰
On your basket weave sweater, you may need to go up a needle size on the sleeves to keep the same gauge as the body
Thanks for the tip!
Would love to meet you 😊
Thank you so much! I love that the name is coming back into style 💛 I am hoping to make it but not 100% yet if I can! I'd love to say hi!!!
Adding balloonimous to my vocab 😂 amazing insight--thank you!!!
Love the spooky intro! Sooo cute! 😍
Love the decorations ❤🦇
Thank you so much!!!
I’m going Saturday! You should go!
I am hoping I can make it! Have so much fun!!!
Your podcasts are Fantastic!! 🎉❤😂
Thank you!
🌴☀️OMG HIIIIII 🙋🏽♀️ so good to see this video popup…guess who bought the Ranunculus pattern🫣 it’s all YOUR FAULT lol. I’m trying to decide on the cast on I want German or tubular…we’ll see. Ok going to watch the video now☀️🌴
OMG! You crack me up😂 I can’t wait to see how yours turns out!
Loving the spooooooooky Halloween vibes. 🙃 Also, that Frank Ochre colorway on you is 🔥.
Thank you so much!!! I love my Frankie! 😍
🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇
5 out of 5 bats. Would recommend. 🙃
🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇 Thank you!!!!
Your videos are so fun. My #spookystitches2023 is sock knitting but I am going to give it a go in October. I will be at Rhinebeck Sat and maybe Sunday, and possibly Cake on Friday. Too expensive to pay to go to everything with my daughters with me.
Sock knitting is so spooky to me! I have had one pair on the needles since February 😅 good luck! & Have fun at Rhinebeck!!!
So good to know! Thank you!!!
I am not using instagram at this time but i think my current spooky stitches is the stephen west MKAL! I am learning a lot of more techniques already :)
Ahhhh love that! Keep us posted on how it goes here!
Aww thank you so much!!! You got this! On the bright side, I am taking this as advice for my i-cord bind off 😂 so thank YOU!
@@akaNoraKnits Good morning…for future reference, once I got it started, the I-cord pulled out super easily!!
So spooky!
You have been seriously inspiring. I am knitting my first project and have had to fix many mistakes. I love your podcast! Thank you for sharing.
🥰 thank you so much! It only gets better from there!!! You've got this! Happy knitting!
@@akaNoraKnits ❤️
👻 🎃 love your ranunculus ❤
Thank you!!!
after losing yarn chicken on this sweater, I'm going to make an entire dress while playing yarn chicken. double spooky there
Ooooh the most spooky kind of spooky. Nothing more satisfying than having just enough yarn to complete a project, though! I hope it works out!
Did you knit the whole sweater with size 7 knitting needles? Including yoke?
I did!! In Podcast ep. 10, I discuss my whole Ranunculus experience if that would be helpful!
❤❤❤
Question for anyone who sees this… what was the very first completed item you knitted? 😊
11:23 💯🙌🏼
