Every moment in this video was special to me, I am now watching it a second time. The plants especially the cacti 🌵 call to me as do all the birds. Glenn's videoing skills give such an up close and personal experience. Thanks for it all, and especially the hummingbird! 🌵
I’ve lived in AZ 34 years now and have yet to make a visit to this museum - you’ve given me motivation - thanks! And another great video Glenn and Amy - keep ‘‘em coming. (Edited for a P. S. - beautiful close ups and absolutely love the 4K).
Thank you so so much! 😊 Definitely make a trip out there one day if you have the opportunity. It's lovely this time of the year before it gets too terribly hot because we've gone when the heat is around and boy... no shade anywhere!
Such a relaxing and beautiful tour. I always learn something. You could put some plants in your plans for your yard to bring the. hummers. They are wonderful to look at. A wonderful video, amy and glenn. Always done so well you guys.
Good question! Looking at their site it seems a lot of memberships, sponsors, donors, foundations, etc. But you're absolutely right. Of all the museums we've been to it is always pristine and super clean there.
Beautiful tour! I remember this place when we lived out there and our son was young. You actually see javalinas in the neighborhoods?? I also had never heard of that strange plant that grows super slow. I really enjoyed this one. Beautiful footage of the animals! 😀😍
Yup! We sometimes see javalinas just poking around in the washes around neighborhoods where we live. All fun and games until you realize there are babies with them! 😅
How the heck is there one else there around?? If that was in Seattle it would be shoulder to shoulder people even though it costs an arm and a leg to get in.
Well, not now, but about 10 years ago my father bought 2 there. Also, the last time I was at the Mesquite Valley Growers Nursery in Tuson I saw some.@@CactusAtlas

So kind of you! Thank you so much! 😄
Wow Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum! Such an awesome place. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching!
You got a lot of cool animal closeups 😀 👍
I think it’s because I was there early during feeding times.
Love the museum. We used to stop by every year for about 4 or 5 years but haven't been in awhile.
That's awesome! So happy to know others have been there too. We feel that It's just such a uniquely cool place. 😊
What a beautiful place, and the hummers are the icing on the cake! Really enjoyed the tour, thank you!
Our pleasure! It's a really peaceful place to spend a day.😊
Loved this! I am so glad I got to visit this place in February 2022!
Nice! That time of the year the weather is beautiful! 😄

Thank you so much! And not a bad idea! We've seen them around the yard now and again but they don't stay long.
Can you go back again and take a longer video? Love this so much!
Haha. I mean, we CAN... 😅 Glad you enjoyed our video!
A fascinating tour, Glenn and Amy! How is this beautiful museum funded? It must cost a fortune to keep it so impeccable.

@@CactusAtlas thats crazy!
It is. It's the wild wild west out here. 🤣
Have you visited Tohono Chul in Tucson? It's such a relaxing place. Also, the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is a must see!
We have not! Might have to see if we can fit that in the next time we're around the Tucson area. Thanks for the suggestion! 😄👍
I like roadrunners
Me too!

I got there at opening time on a cold winter morning. But trust me, by the time I left, the crowds had arrived
@@CactusAtlas good to know, I'm going to Tuscon for spring break and this will be the first place I go, definatly at opening hour. Thanks
I believe you can buy baby boojums at Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
😮 Reaaaally now? Did not know that! How cool!
