7:16 Howard, I cannot understand your setup on this video. The first shot that you do. When you go to the table is a shot to the right middle pocket. And you're telling us that you're lining up to the inside between the pocket and the right edge of the object ball. This would put the ball in the bottom left corner pocket. At best. I think you miss stating what you intend.
Please look at the video again in clarify. You're interchanging the opposite edge with the inside Edge. very confusing thank you

Basically your visual is center CB line (while standing behind that line.) to Opposite of the cut angle to the pocket. Just follow with no lateral movement right to CCB and shoot. If your lineup is correct, it works. Forget about pockets. Keep watch the video , it takes time to adjust.

Howard, I have been working with this for several months and several years with Stan's. I like what you're suggesting but it seems like I am overcutting anything that is under a 30°.
Cut. Anything with more than four diamonds is extremely hard. do you have any suggestions

Howard, I think I finally got it. I'm starting to see the line from the pocket to the object ball. 😅

You keep mentioning pocket which has no relevance. All shots are made without knowledge of where the pocket is at. The first shot you mentioned visual is CCB to ROB edge and your lined up for CCB shot...

hi Howard love this, how does this effect vision centre if my vision centre is not in the middle as its not many thanks

Try using pivoting to get used to the position. Would suggest watching earlier videos to learn the aiming basics..

      @@howardberger3676 hi Howard
Many thanks for your reply mate
I play a fairly ok level atm , been playing snooker and pool for years and I’ve always sighted the shots as I’ve seen so I think basic aiming is not what I really need mate it’s only a couple shots that make me feel off set I have had sight right and me seeing a straight line is to the right hand side of my belly button I’m wondering if me coming in from centre is affecting some shots if that makes sence
Thanks again for your great vids

Mr. Berger. I am getting a lot of success with this system. However, my confusion from the beginning is whether or not perception is on Right side of the object ball or left side of the ball. You are using the term the opposite side. However, in every case, it appears that the perception you are using is on the same side of the pocket you are shooting at. Which is on the inside rather than the outside. Which is to say the same side not the opposite side. This is where my confusion arises. I think I am just not understanding what you mean by the opposite side.I know you say to pay no attention to the pocket. However, the shoot line becomes visible as soon as I use the inside versus the outside. Would you agree with this assessment. Regardless, I really appreciate all the work you're doing. And I only wish I could shoot like you.

In most earlier videos you guessimate the OB angle to the pocket. Either A B or C in most cases. 15,30 or 45 degrees . You then aim from the CB at 1/2' from ctr CB to one of the above aimlines. You the pivot to CCB and shoot. My latest video does the same but due to your stance your automatically set up as above. Pls note that the earlier version with pivoting is more accurate.

hello Howard. I am interested in learning a bit more about what you do while getting down on the shot.
aligning ccb to outside edge of ob makes you line up with a half ball shot or about a 30 degree cut.
translating this into all the different angles you demonstrate takes something else I cannot understand from the video. you also say there is no pivot.
any more info you can share about the process?
for example if ob is in the head spot and cb one diamond below it how can this same alignment be applied if the ob is in the foot spot and cue ball in center table?

    Hi Howard.
Ive watched all yours , CJ , and Shuffets videos.
So now this is completely opposite of CTE.
Not.center to edge on object ball towards the cut , but edge to opposite side of pocket ?

Can u show ur stance while shooting the balls ?

He is right. No pivot required. But he keeps saying that he is looking at the object ball to one side but hits it on the opposite side. I aim CTE and I aim to the left edge if it is cutting right and right side if it’s cutting left. Goes in most of the time as long as you have good fundamentals and shoot straight.

Generally with CTE you aim at one of the "aimlines" which could be 15,30 or 45 degrees in relationship to the angle to the pocket. Then go to CCB and shoot!
