i really like the paint colours on the front exterior. I think the walk-in closet and big master ensuite would make me want to buy it. The compromise with redesigning the kitchen worked out really well and looks like a great use of space. Only thing I don’t like is the black taps and handles in the bathroom. Overall, i can see why they had multiple offers over asking. One of their better flips
They should've listened to Christina and got rid of the wall between the kitchen and living area, it would've made the house look way bigger and spacious.
It's personal choice. I think they would have done it if the backyard was nice and had a view. Even though it was updated, it still wasn't picturesque. Some homeowners prefer having the kitchen, with all of its smells and noise, separate. Imagine if someone is cooking in the kitchen (pots, pans, fan, sink...) while you're trying to relax or watch TV. It's not always a winning combo.
Terek & Crestina I have a humble request for your consideration and same goes for all others house flippers. 🔔 It breaks my heart to see when contractors brutally demolish the kitchen cabinets specially, could you please consider removing the cabinets and fixture without damaging, these are resellable items someone can certainly revamp it and put it in use, 💰This can be a great service to non affording house makers and on budget hose makers.
I've been asking that for 20 years from a ton of different shows. It just doesn't happen. It would take extra time and effort, which to them isn't worth it. It's quite sad.
I really like the big bedroom suite, just a small change I would have put built in shelves and storage on either side of the fireplace, with such a small living room, the tiny display shelves are cute but just not practical with everyday life, and I miss fireplace mantels and would put the TV there too to also make it practical instead of the plain fireplace just my opinion, other than that it is awesome!
It was the right call to keep that kitchen wall, despite being able to afford the cost in the long run. It still looks open and bright. Kitchen smells won't float throughout the house so much. It came out really nicely.
The expected profit is crazy! In regards to the house I am a bit disappointed about them painting the outside tiles of the garden path grey. I feel that their choice of renovation style does not complement this cute house very well, except the master suite. Still, I cannot believe the profit margin. Mindblowing.
It's interesting how there are so many comments about that under this particular video. They never salvage anything, but instead obliterate everything - decking, fencing, cabinets... I can't even watch that part because it breaks my heart. So much of that could be given away - cabinets, fencing, decking, even wall studs.
@@VioletJoy You see this in almost all reno shows. Guess smashing everything and throwing it away instead of removing it carefully and donating it makes for better television.
@@angelbulldog4934 It needs to be neutral *for resale.* This show is about flipping rather than an innovative design challenge. It needs tobe compatible with more furnishings rather than fewer...
@@b_uppy I fully understand that. I've been watching home reno since This Old House in the 1960s. But everything they do is black, gray, and white. It's boring and tedious. There are other neutral colors out there. We all have our own preferences. Gray is not mine.
@@b_uppy Your opinion. I used gray in 1988 and was sick of it in a month. It's cold, impersonal, institutional...I don't live in a school or hospital. You have your taste and preferences, I have mine.
personally i like "rooms" in a house. not everybody likes all open. for the life of me i don't understand why they don't save what they can from demo and give it to rehab places. it's like hey look we are so rich we don't even think of any one lower class than us. not all of us like "modern". ugh this show just irritates me .
I can't even watch the destruction phase on any of these shows because my heart hurts too much to see the unnecessary waste. It just kills me to see all of the other wood that could be repurposed just get tossed in a dumpster also. 😭 I love reclaimed wood. No doubt even if it was just piled neatly on the driveway, someone would come pick it up for free. Even Ben and Erin on Home Town do that, even though they generally try to salvage most of the house. Nicole from Rehab Addict is the most consiencious home remodeler I've seen on a show. It warms my heart to see how she salvages so much, but there's still a lot of waste because some things just get old and outdated.
The kitchen and the bathrooms were not worth saving as they are about 20 years old. And most of their flips are the same. And they have actually given a few kitchens to the people who do the charity work. You obviously haven’t seen those episodes.
Their chemistry got so much better since the divorce. Glad they both work still work with each other and they seem happier.
This came out beautifully. The before floor plan was just stupid. Great job
Smart decision in removing that little bedroom and adding walk in closet.
One of my favorite flips! Really well done.
I wondered where the laundry room went.....and hoped to see the outcome.

Yeah with that big of a profit, they should have!

Exactly. Be great if the seriously incorporated rainwater harvesting techniques as well.

Except it would reduce the need for integrated sprinklers.

Additionally they add very little to the cost if at all.

after living in an apartment with an open kitchen I can say that closed kitchens are the best. like seriously.
Yes I like to look of open but like when you're cooking are meat it's really good to have a closed kitchen with crimsafe on windows

Why do they never put a dresser or bureau in the bedrooms?
I hate that brick tile in the guest bathroom. If I bought the house I would’ve changed it immediately
Don’t love the bathroom tile
❤ Belle transformation !
Will be glad when the trend of grey and white for EVERYthing changes. Honestly.
Wow,Tarek is very sarcastic. You can sense huge tension...
Wish they had removed that kitchen wall and they hadn't gone over that brick. It would have been such a cute modern farm house feel.
Oh good-getting better and BETTER
$20,000 just to take down a wall?
I loved you two together you all are awesome.I let you do my house but am in fl.love your show so much.
Really nice place.
I think Christina has claustrophobia
I’d really like to see and hope they’re recycling some of the old but useful materials instead of smashing and dumping everything.

I really liked this one
So they moved them to the UK version 🤔 At least they're getting along❤️
I like this one.
Where would you put the TV in the master bedroom???
No T.V. in the Bedroom it's for Sleeping 😴 💤
Might have to drop down from the ceiling TV that is
@@jeankeough845 No TV AT ALL! Been 8 years for me. Never again.
No tv in my bedroom. I do, however, occasionally take a laptop in to watch a movie in bed. I just hate ‘tv’
They can install it into the wall....for a flushed look. Saves space as well.
Christina has been divorced twice now. She needs to look inward to figure that out.

The best colour scheme in the kitchen very neutral very bright outside all white very exceptional to their usual clips
I didn't care for it at all. They do the same color scheme in every house. Not creative at all.

I prefer great as it conflicts less with certain wood tones, as well as other colors. They are more neutral than other 'neutrals.'
