I must admit that while I'm 100% on board with Rob's outrage at the whole 'climbing' debacle, it made me laugh like a drain when it happened, so it has to be that!

The friendly fortunes quiz was so funny. Rob losing it literally had me crying with laughter. I think a return to the friendly fortunes quiz should be in the pipeline!

I agree with Rob with the last entry. Over half of those answers are possible in real life. I remember watching that stream and being like "what kind of answers are those?" Lol
Me too. I felt like "what am I missing here?". Those answers should have not been counted when making the list.
@@Ivotas well it's a matter of scale. doing it to the same degree you can do it in a video game is not possible at least for most people. Theoretically possible for professional athletes, sure. most people? no.
@@marhawkman303 It's still possible though, while things like double jumps and respawns are impossible in real life, whether you are an athlete or not. Otherwise if athletisism and scale are a factor in this quiz answer, then scoring a goal from your own half of the field should also be considered impossible. Because only football players would have the athletisism and technique to kick a ball accurately across such a distance.
@@Ivotas Hmmm well, yeah, I suppose there's two ways to interpret the quiz. "things no one can do IRL", vs "things the people playing the games can't do IRL". Obviously rob interpreted the quiz the first way, but it seems like most of the audience went with the second.
@@marhawkman303 Even "things people playing the games can't do IRL" would be a bit faulty I think. There's for example Assassins Creed fans that got into parkour because of the games. I know that's not the norm but still there are. Also sports games are special in that they actually attract quite a number of people who actually play the corresponding sport. Again not the norm but isn't a rarity either, which is why sports games mostly get considered to be special in gaming because they attract a different type of gamer.
I see what you are saying though. One can definitely interpret the question that way. But then we enter the field of clear specifics to determine under which conditions the question apply. Whereas as simple "not possible at all" is a clear cut with no room for interpretation.

Rob will never get over the "climbing" incident. Obviously because that would require climbing over it in real life, which is surely impossible. Right? 🤣
Rob is never going to let that climbing things in real life go and personally I'm fine with that since it's always hilarious. Though the biggest mystery still is who is the 16 people who voted that. (And something tells me that will never be solved since they will probably feel Rob's wrath.)
I can see how that could be an answer for some people.
If my grandfather played video games his first answer would have been walk.
Sometimes you have to think outside the box.
@@swskitso We for me, it's the SCALE. In games you'll have people free climb a 100-foot cliff that's nearly perfectly sheer. Like Aloy, or the various playable characters in Uncharted games. SOME people can do that IRL... not many.
Then there's actual wall-crawling like in DCUO and several other games where you're not climbing in the traditional sense, but literally just walking up walls.

This is a fantastic list! One of my favoures FF I’ve seen for quite some time, and that’s not just because Rob did the classic intro 😍
There are Rob Rants, and then there are *Rob Rants* but Rob's live 'Climbing' meltdown was a thing of legends.
I go back and watch Rob's outburst from Friendly Fortunes at least once a month. Never fails to make me cry with laughter! 😂
I just went back and rewatched it.... Nath hints that Rob's perspective is not aligned with the viewers at one point actually, but I'm not sure Rob picked up on it.
Rob took the question to mean "physically impossible". but what Nath asked for was "you could never do". Many viewers seem to have interpreted that as merely "things I can't do".
Every single entry were classic shenanigans from everyone
