Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko All Bosses Intro All cutscenes and ending (No Damage) Boss 1 Evil Santa Boss 2 Rock Hard Boss 3 Brian of Oz Boss 4 Mad Bomber Final Boss Rez
The Nintendo 64 had a different ending due to the memory limitations of the Nintendo 64 cartridge. There were also no cutscenes in the Nintendo 64 and the sexual innuendos and exchanges between Gex and Agent Xtra were removed from the Nintendo 64. However, the cutscenes that remained were rendered in-game, Instead of playing a pre-rendered cutscene. Gex's model would stand still place when he was talking to Agent Xtra and perform unique animations exclusive to the Nintendo 64. The collectibles also have lower texture quality for the Nintendo 64 version. Then there are things that could be called as neutral points. The Mythology Network is completely changed in the Nintendo 64 version. The PlayStation 1 version takes place in Mount Olympus, while the Nintendo 64 version takes place in the Underworld or Hades. Gex wears a toga and leaf crown in the PlayStation 1 version and a gladiator outfit in the Nintendo 64 version. It is speculated that the level was changed due to the PlayStation 1 rendition being too difficult for the mostly younger Nintendo 64 player base. The PlayStation 1 version has the secret levels Dial A For Arson and Brave Heartless, for Nintendo 64 version these secret levels were replaced the secret levels by the Peg Leg Polka and Temple Of Gloom. The reason for replacing of these levels is unknown. However, this is possibly due to some of the more graphical elements of the PlayStation 1 levels, Dial A For Arson featured a dead body outlined in chalk and Braveheartless featured several skeletons. Also in the case of Braveheartless, it was based on a PlayStation 1 exclusive title. The name of the game is Akuji The Heartless. So it's possible that this aspect may have further contributed to its omission from the Nintendo 64 version. By the way, I discovered the game Akuji The Heartless. thanks Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko where there was a demo of this game and I enjoyed this game. Summary, the PlayStation 1 version is better, but even Nintendo 64 version has its charms, it is all, have a nice day.
@@Wishbone4evrGex Trilogy will be released this year for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. I hope there will be no differences between consoles. Yes, you're right, the console wars are terrible. I'm a computer gamer and I've finished Gex 1, Gex 2: Enter The Gecko and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko on the ePSXe emulator. I know Gex 1 and 2 were on PC but not 3 so I decided to play all three games on the ePSXe emulator and I enjoyed them. I'm looking forward to the Gex Trilogy.
I would love to see the eventual unreal engine optimization of Gex 2, Gex 3 and the original Gex (although I don't have too many fond memories of the first one because I didn't play it back in 1995/1996 AD). The wrestling opponent matchup against Rock "Steady" Hard , my nickname for him, seemed glitched out easy on purpose (I do have to wonder if it was done by mistake).
@@UDPlaythroughs1990 Is that so; hmmm, strange enough but alright ?! By the way , as a kid/tween, i missed out on the Gex craze and only now I am able to appreciate his grandeur and pomp... I played SM64, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Vexx, Malice, Croc, Banjo Kazooie , Earthworm Jim (not the 3rd one which I skipped as well for some reason). Financialy tough times called for difficult choices...do I buy shoes/clothes or do I ask for the latest platformer ?! Bug and Bubsy as honorable mention too.
@@UDPlaythroughs1990 I mean, yeah? That doesn't change the fact that every boss encounter has the same exact theme with no difference between bosses, that's the lazy part. They could've stuck to the games leitmotif while making actual boss themes to fit into the leitmotif, considering they did it with every level, and the levels are all still thematically different. It just lacks variety for me is all. Gex 2's boss themes are better in that respect. Especially the fight with Rez. That final boss theme was awesome.
Boss music in this game always got me pumped.
Note to self, don’t drink Fanta drinks at a German Nazi local bar at Hitler’s house
Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko All Bosses
Intro All cutscenes and ending (No Damage)
Boss 1 Evil Santa
Boss 2 Rock Hard
Boss 3 Brian of Oz
Boss 4 Mad Bomber
Final Boss Rez
Is it weird that I like the european voice actor for gex in this game more than the american voice actor? I like both voice actors now.
That’s Danny-John Jules for ya.
‘This is like, Christmas at Jackie Chan’s house!!!’
The fuck?! N64 never showed that ending! Just his Butler turtle on a vacation, reading a newspaper and telling us the ending. This is bullshit!
64 didn't have the same abilities that PS1 had unfortunately. Not that it wasn't a fun system.

Boss 1 Evil Coco
Boss 2 Brick Ward
Boss 3 Baron Pete
Boss 4 Dr. DHeimer
Final Boss Superiah
That wannabe Stone Cold LOL.
Personally, I think the first Gex game was better cuz the 2nd and 3rd wasn't that great. I do like anime stage in the 3rd one tho ^^
@1:01 Did he Dab?
The rock hard boss looks laughably easy
It is but I love how it's a Parody of Stone Cold and the Rock.

Was Blind the Time Cat also a platform based adventure title ?!

As evidenced by the terrible VA for Gex
I'm so sad how lazy Gex 3's boss music is. Gex 2 definitely had the best boss soundtrack imo.
Well the Boss theme shares a leitmotif of the main theme from Gex 3, The overworld theme, almost every level shares the theme.

Rez is easily the best fight in 1 & 2
@@UDPlaythroughs1990 absolutely. I really miss this series. It's sad it probably won't get another release, anytime soon anyway.
If Kao the Kangaroo can come back why can't Square revive the series.
