Kyle, I just lost my father this week and feeling, well as you do in that situation. I’ve got a long emotional trip back to the states ahead of me. You have no idea how much your films allow ppl to just exhale for 30 minutes. My father was similar to your video with Karl, a simple, good but complicated soul. He would’ve loved your old cars and always loved his time working in New England. Thank you brother.
10 months later as I sit and watch this, I think about how many wonderful things have happened and how it's all coming together for you both! You're learning so much as you go through trial and error. I love listening to your thoughts and here I am in the "future", Sept 2024 and knowing all the amazing progress you both have made in that time! I'm so happy for both of you!
After weathering quite a few of life’s storms, I’ve learned to really appreciate “normal” days, without drama & chaos, knowing there’s another storm looming in the distance but just savoring every simple moment. Thanks for sharing your life experiences & gifts!
I so look forward to your videos and to Ali's. I am an old lady who loves what your two younger people are doing. You both work so hard and I so admire the two of you. You are a great, great couple in a variety of ways. And you both don't let anything defeat you and you keep such an even disposition throughout. You make me wish to be young again. I have always yearned to live in the woods (and we did for 23 years near the Indiana Dunes) but to live permanently in a cabin. I make sour dough bread and pancakes as well. Its such a soul rewarding home enterprise. And I get a kick out of the wonderfully talented and tenacious Ali in her garden. A garden becomes part of your soul. I had a thousand square foot raised bed garden for just 10 years. But, it was the only place I was able to grow giant sunflowers alongside watermelon, and Spring lettuces. I planted asparagus crowns and waited the 4 years before picking the spears and it was well worth the wait, I grew potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, Chard, biennial kale, carrots, turnips, kohlrabi, and herbs galore..and where we lived we had meadow grass...so morning glories, mint and daisies grew wild. We picked the leaves of the wild goosefoot( otherwise called lambs quarters) weed and ate that raw and cooked. Delicious. When we moved to that home from our wooded Miller Beach home in the Indiana Dunes tI, I dug up and brought wild violet plants and planted them in our raised beds. Wild violets are very anti-cancer and a very healthy plant to eat and it tastes good. Mint, wild onions, ramps and stinging nettle also grew wild on the land of our homestead,. Our neighbor had horses and they were usually outside. Only an electric fence stood between our yards and their land wrapped around the back of our land. And the fence wasn't always electrified. In the Fall the local orchard would box up the apples that fell to the ground and call them horse apples. A box was five dollars. In the Fall weekly we'd buy a box of apples and I always kept a 25 lb bag of carrots for the horses. It was so much fun. It got so after the weather had been warm a while and I had been feeding the horses apples and carrots, that if I came outside without something to give them they would whinny at me letting me know I was remiss. I got such a kick out of that! Living there on those five acres was wonderful but my husband has emphysema and other health issues and we needed to sell the property and home after 10 years. We moved to a lower maintenance home that we love for this stage of life and we are grateful for the time we had fulfilling a lifelong dream. I wish you and Ali all the best that the world has to offer. And your choices for living are the best. God Bless you, Ali, and Mogli!!
Your video stories shared make my time living in Groton Ma. Come back so vividly!!! Loved it for 15 years and now living in Oklahoma…an old Nana, I get to share New England with my Grandsons by watching your snippets of New England life with them…where the world catches fire long about mid September!!!❤ 👵🏼❤️❤️😊
This video was so comforting and at the same time it ripped my heart out. Western MA native here and I haven’t been home in some years, and the homesickness is creeping in. I can’t wait to watch your videos. Thank you ❤
Wow that opening shot, the color gradient developing with frame panning causing the effect of getting to see the moon rise....just incredible! 🌕❤👏👏 ❤️Well wishes to you all❤️
I was going to comment exactly the same! And the music to that opening too. The first few tones from the guitar actually caught my attention first. The whole package of the opening is so well thought and put together. Everything is just so perfect ❤️
Kyle, you always know how to capture the most beautiful moments.I just moved to Simsbury, CT from south FL. I spent 20 yrs in FL. Originally from NJ. I spent so many days starting my mornings by watching all your videos, especially your fall videos. I feel like i manifested me and my family moving out of FL. I've been so ready to get back up north for so long. Now I'm in a town in northern CT super close to the MA border. i drive around and I feel like I live in VT. It's a secret fall haven! Farm stores everywhere, hiking trails, waterfalls, apple orchards, pumpkin patches. I'm living my dream. Watching my two kids grow up in New England is going to be special and it's cool to think you had a hand in that. appreciate you and all your hard work. all love brother! Maybe ill catch you one year at the fall festival by you.
I am a truck person and having a reliable vehicle with what is necessary is really such a relief. You did good! What an amazing next chapter for the both of you and mogley (not sure I said that right). I have said it before to you all, as a NE girl who now lives in NC, I thank you so much for letting me relive who I am.
Gorgeous video as always! Congrats on the new rig, you deserve it and it will help you out a lot! I’m almost 50 and we didn’t get our first new rig until about eight years ago! Ever since it’s been pretty awesome lol have to admit😅 Keep praising the Lord for all your blessings, and pray for others, and keep working hard and lovin your woman well, and you won’t go wrong.
You deserve it all KYLE.. YOU AND ALI are an inspiration to us, ... And the new truck is awesome🚙.. Blessings to you both... AWWW little mogali home for good he's going to love it 🏡🐈❤️🙏❤️
I live far away from New England. Live in Jakarta, Asia. But every time I watch your video, I feel like I’m home. Probably I lived in this area in my previous life…
You are getting your life together now, narrowing down your projects, setting goals. Starting your own place.all I ask is for every tree you cut down, plant 3 more.
Your ability to tell such a beautiful story with your cinematography and your soothing voice, allows me to dream without sleeping. You are amaze-balls. Thank you.
I live in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. I had a Trooper just like yours that I bought new in the 90’s. I loved that vehicle and wish I still had it. I love your videos and respect and admire all the hard work you and Allie put into making your dreams come true. I can’t wait to see the house when you complete your home.
You chopping that wood brought back so many childhood memories. We would visit our family cabin every chance we got. Every school break. Hearing someone chop wood in the distance always made me feel like I’m at home in some silly way. I hope one day that I’ll be able to experience that in person again. Love your videos, love how you pour yourself into every single video you upload. 🤎🪵 🍂🍁
I just love your videos, being 73 I just do not get out and around like I use too. Being you have the dump truck you might want to get a couple loads of sand to spread on your driveway this winter and you can use it for others things too. You might like to get a hot air power fan for on your wood stove to help blow the heat around better, only powered by the heat. produced by the stove. I got a small one for my gas heater and it really help to force the heat to the other side of my living room. Keep the videos coming, they make my day.
New subscriber here. I’m from New England but moved to Florida in 1986. Just went to Massachusetts and Maine for a week in October and your channel came up on my recommended when I returned to FL. Really enjoying the beautiful content. Thank you!
I hope you know how talented you are, Kyle. RUclipsr burnout is real, so I am grateful for the energy, time, and aesthetic you devote to your content. It's a gift to all of us.
Thank you for yet another great video. I just love the autumn season. What a great time of year, and it means that the holidays are on their way. Your video put me in the mood for getting ready for the holidays. I am looking forward to the next season, for the snow to start falling soon. I thank you again for such great videos. I appreciate how hard you work to put these videos out for us. God Bless You and your Family. Enjoy the rest of this session and the next one to come 🙏🎃🍂🍁❄️☃️
I know you heard this before from others but this is my favorite channel I get so excited when I first see a new video. I save it if I can’t watch it right away so I don’t forget! Thank you so much!
Wrap the axe handle with wire right underneath the head. Do a few inches. It protects the handle from getting dinged up. My husband split a lot of firewood.
Enjoy it now! Every moment because it won't last forever! I went from fit to broken in one 18 mile bike ride. Got off my bike and had stroke everything has changed!
Another beautiful video. I have been like you - making preparations for the winter to come. I have been knocking items on my list off in this great weather that we have been having. You are right about fixing things for yourself and how it is so satisfying. Today, I replaced the belt on the mower deck on my Kubota tractor. After 18 years, it finally gave up the ghost. Probably saved myself $150 or more by doing it myself.
Just catching up after a 7 week trip in Italy. Your channel never fails to make me homesick for New England. Thank you, Kyle. I know this is alot of work. Congrats on the F250, great truck. You deserve it.
I am glad you have the home and cabin and have different vehicles to do your jobs, and, of course, I enjoy the music and narrations. May God give you joy and peace for your journey.
Good morning y'all, I am so grateful for ur beautiful filming of N.E. Miss colours of fall always...great filming.. Sending 85 degrees from gulf coast..ROLL TIDE... ITT ALL TAKES TIME.. LOVED R.I. OCEAN TIME... ENJOY EACH MOMENT..😊❤TY DARLINGS..GLAD CABIN OK...KEEP IT FOREVER.. GREAT COLOURS OF FALL.❤😊❤😊❤😊❤
Kyle, Your new truck is beautiful. I'm a Ford person. I have driven them for year's and I've alway's had a great experience. I just paid off my 2018 Ford Escape. It has been a great vehicle. You will find that your Ford has great towing power. I hope you and Ally have many wonderful adventures with it. Love and GOD bless to you all.❤🦃🎄
I loved this one so much. Thank you. My husband and I just came off of a 4 year almost full time travel and adventure expedition series. We are settled in an older home where we will do improvement projects next year. I found a space for my in-person client work, and we created home offices for online creative work. And a pre-owned 2nd vehicle is in my view now. Your words about the simplicity of this was something I needed to hear. Indeed it is a simple and satisfying shift. Happy Autumn and winter!
Absolutely beautiful ❤. Here in upstate New York, the trees are now bare, the days are becoming colder and you can feel a hint of winter around the corner, my second favorite season after fall. I love how the small rural town has a fall festival bringing community and families together. Our small town was once much like that and now sadly, lots of empty historic buildings, very rarely anyone walking in town and could be what it once was. I don’t a miss a single one of your amazing videos, they are such treasures
I finally made it!! I started watching back to the beginning the first week of September and now I'm here!! (My OCD wouldn't let me watch them out of order 😂) I also watched all of Ally's vids, too! Yayyy you both!! You've really inspired me to keep pushing toward my goals of heading to the N. GA Mtns (or TN) as we prepare for our next phase/stage of life. Preparation is key and to always keep learning! P.S. I have to admit, I just LOVE the wood burning stoves. I grew up w one and have such fond memories of helping dad w the wood & fixing up the little '32 Cape Cod I grew up in in the '70s. I went back & forth to LI from GA for 3 yrs throughout all seasons when Dad became ill & loved driving by that little trooper of a house. It's got a little white picket fence now and the hurricanes have taken out a few of the 50 yr old oaks, but it's still as beautiful and sturdy as I remember. The owners are enjoying it and I loved sharing where my tire swing was & where we'd sled down the slope in the back & showing how 3 out of 4 sides of the back fences used to have 5 ft stacks of wood year round. They're putting in an oil heater where the stove was but I just loved sharing those memories. I LOVED watching Ally clean the chimney & get the stove ready! I actually had a bowl of popcorn while I watched! (yeah, I know! I'm about the cheapest date around😂) ~Thanks for bringing back such warm memories 😊 P.P.S. it's NEVER a bad decision to get something reliable. Your time is valuable! It's the ONE commodity that can NEVER be retrieved. As long as you've learned along the way, you're in good shape!
I’m thanking God for you and your incredible story telling and the amazing backdrop of New England. Wow every singe minute is worth the watch thanks Kyle you put everything into the right perspective and help me remember to be always grateful
I've been watching your videos on RUclips for about 5 years now and I want to say, your videos are always up beat and happy. I want to say, I've never seen you so happy! And also, you should get a set of "Max Travis" to help you get your vehicles out of the mud on and around your property.
Beautiful. I'm in Pennsylvania and get to see the gorgeous colors come out as well. It's breathtaking to say the least. Within 2 weeks of the leaves changing & a cold rain, all leaves are gone. Now, we're left with the bare mountains until we see life reemerge next Spring.
Thank you for the added beautiful scenery. You are preparing for winter we are preparing for our hot summers and plenty of outdoor cooking. I look forward sitting bsck and watching your amazing videos and narration. Enjoy your beautiful new home take a breather and relax a lot more you have worked hard this year. Enjoy ....
Kyle this such a nice way to end my Sunday…..let me just say, you deserve all good things you work so hard and get your hands dirty in all things I admire your tenacity and hard work!!! You have truly met your soul mate in Ally…you both persevere even in the hard times!!! I love the way it made you feel when you finished and restored the alternator…..such an accomplishment 👍you enjoy life and I’m so inspired by you and the interest you have to take on new projects like your friends demo on fireplace the learning is what you thrive on!!!👍may your winter be as magical as all the videos you post and share with this community 🙏🏻🥰♥️❣️
I love you two! You know how to live simply and aligned with mother nature. Thanks for taking us along on your beautiful journey and congrats on your new truck!
your videos are absolutely eye candy. to get two this close together was such a treat! My Cuz has the exact same Ford and he loves it- Im glad you had the chance to get something that you can rely on no matter what. Its a good thing to have.
Kyle, my friend, thank you for sharing your stories and for taking the time to include the sound of fall leaves beneath your feet. You make a difference!

@@TroutandCoffee I like it 😊
Flowing rivers, firewood, coffee, trout, autumn foliage....all created by God for our pleasure. Thank you God
I’ve lived a lot of places, but there is something special about New England in the fall.
Thanks again Kyle for sharing 🍁
Truly nothing like it! thanks for tuning in!
Nothing beats a FORD!
I’ve been a Ford Girl all my long life!

Greetings from Tennessee…enjoyed watching your video ❤
The very best videos on this platform , hands down
I so look forward to your videos and to Ali's.
You have a really good eye for spiffing up the place😉

There was some freezing rain but it wasn't so bad. Cheers 🧡

Profound gratitude for sharing your beautiful part of the country from one who has minimal views of the outdoors, but big dreams.
Grateful you appreciate it all!
I love your channel. 50 years after moving to New England fall still grabs my heart every year. You truly show us the beauty of all the seasons here.

Got a couple more coming this month 😁

Beautiful x
Great visuals
I ❤ your home ..the jungle ..river and track ..i love all ..
What a pleasant surprise to have an extra day of Trout and coffee.
Kyle got it right about the beautiful simplicity of home life.
It can be seen as dreadful chore or an enjoyable potter around day.
I know you heard this before from others but this is my favorite channel I get so excited when I first see a new video. I save it if I can’t watch it right away so I don’t forget! Thank you so much!

holy smokes I'm so sorry to hear that! Good example of the importance of enjoying everyday while it's here!
There's no better feeling than having your firewood in!
16:26 As a fellow temporary kitchen cook: an aluminum foil tent/cover over your dish will help keep the little oven from burning your tops
I've tried that and it still burns on the top! 😕

Our small town was once much like that and now sadly, lots of empty historic buildings, very rarely anyone walking in town and could be what it once was. I don’t a miss a single one of your amazing videos, they are such treasures
Last. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outta five. I always save the best for last.
so many cars now! the f250 is sweet...my dad had one it was the best car he ever had!
Just spent nearly all of October in New England visiting family... There is nothing like the New England woods. Great video.
God Bless you and your little family. Thank you for sharing. I love that you walk with humility, and you have so much gratitude.
This content is so beautiful and aesthetic! I can't wait to keep improving my videos, you are a huge inspiration!! ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words!
I finally made it!! I started watching back to the beginning the first week of September and now I'm here!! (My OCD wouldn't let me watch them out of order 😂)
I also watched all of Ally's vids, too!
I'm about the cheapest date around😂)
~Thanks for bringing back such warm memories 😊
P.P.S. it's NEVER a bad decision to get something reliable. Your time is valuable! It's the ONE commodity that can NEVER be retrieved.
As long as you've learned along the way, you're in good shape!
You guy's are nuts jumping in that October water!!!!!!❤ I love your content so thank you for bringing us your program.
