Now, I've noticed a few inaccuracies in the video so I'm just gonna correct them here: 1) The shops sell up to r38 items, not r34. 2) The sword you're looking for if you want a yoshitsuna is the Excalibur (r39), not cosmic blade 3)This is a big one - it doesn't matter if you hit lvl 200 before killing the item god if you are trying to perfect your item. The only things that matter are: *getting rid of unwanted innocents on floor 1 and filling the item completely with specialists of the stat you want to max, *double killing ALL generals, kings and gods, *making sure to pass more x growth on floors 10, 20 and 30 in item assembly, *and lastly hitting level 200 by OR BEFORE floor 100, as the item god bonus is applied retroactively, meaning it already takes into account the levels you've already accumulated. After experiencing almost all of Disgaea endgame , that 8 Pringer X GO fight is still the most Terrifying endgame content you can find in Disgaea series. As my first game for Disgaea serise , I love Disgaea 2 but The frist time i re-entering Pringer X stage and just call it here bc i couldn't see my self grinding that much anymore lol
You're the GOAT for these guides! When I was working on completing Disgaea PC a few weeks ago your video was crazy convenient because of how many disparate forum posts and wiki pages with tidbits of info were condensed into it. I am just breaking into the postgame grind of 2 now and have thus far really enjoyed how the sequel has expanded on the original... except for the felony system, yeeesh. Disgaea 2 is such an interesting case of experimentation and innovation for the franchise. The stage design especially with all the dark would variants feel really unique and sometimes outright cruel. So many mechanics feel like schoolyard rumors except they're real. Awesome video, can't wait to replay this game and grab all the steam achievements!
I managed to beat this game by capturing monsters and adding them to my team. You gradually capture more and more powerful monsters, throwing them into each other to get even stronger ones, deleting the weaker ones until you have a team of lvl 9999 monsters. Then, killing Baal and Baal x 8 is possible.
I dont know if you still follow this but i have a few additions 1)zetta has a skill that hits every character in coo4 and with magichange 2 you can put that skill on any character (permanently with the magichange glitch even(beat the i wanna see the ending map with a magichanged unit and they keep their magichanged gear which you can take off in the shop and keep)) 2)thieves were only briefly mentioned but their steal chance isnt purely level based like in disgaea 1 their loves also aid to the steal percentage 3)since dark world is unlockable from the start if youre efficient with it the best early game grind maps are actually dark world maps (unlocking it by beating the level 100 friday is easy with thiefs cause she isnt immune to poison) 4)a thing you didnt mention was senator bribing (presumably cause clearing by force works too tho there are enough bills to at least consider it) but you can pass bills to increase the influence of the easy to deal with senators and bribe them to just pass any bill (of note is that the middle tier senators that were supposed to be a headache the holy dragon party for disliking being bribed can have their likability overflow if you bribe them long enough) 5)for pringer x fights to avoid dealing with his immunity to skills already being used the monster bounce you unlock from axel mode can be used to put them in a nice 3x3 formation letting you do basically what you did but with all the pringers on the map at the same time 6)an item you missed for your high damage was the usagi journey (the best magic boosting gear) you get for beating every single dark world map (i get not wanting to get it tho) 7) like etna mode axel mode doesnt have to be a postgame experience you can just insert the nis code before selecting new game

I do wonder, if you are doing a D3 guide, would it be for the PS3 or the Vita enhanced version? If you are doing the latter, how are you handling Honor Quotient? I don't think there is any solid info about it online...

Do the level spheres have some kind of timer like mystery rooms? I have been resetting over an hour and didn't found any (pass level 20 of course) at this point I can't even remember but I think I saw one 4 stages before I exit the item world, I did not catch it tho since there was a mystery room in the same level and I went to the mystery room instead.

On their website, vita3k lists Disgaea 3 as playable+, and there are a lot of reported cases of crashes, Idk how it runs on the current update of the emulator, but It might be impossible to review it. In the thread they talk about the crashes making the post game either unfun or unplayable at worst. @@lordCheesusCrust

I have been playing with the story main characters and other not so used chars lately just for fun (Adell, Rozalin, Etna and Yukimaru plus some moster and basic magic caster/fighters and stuff like that) I have all of them with 300 felonies but I noticed that main characteres (and some monster like Hell Dragon), level up slower than other characteres, do you know any page where I can see the exp rate for characteres or something like that?
there’s definitely an EXP modifier attached to each class, causing them to earn EXP at different rates, but I’ve been unable to find anything that lists out what all of them are
Weird question, as far as I know there are some items that can only be obtain once (like makai wars if I'm not mistaken), but can I look for a stage with a "clone" geo panel, clone a character with the item an stole the item? or give it to Etna or Rozalin and go with Adell as a senator to for their petition for become the main character or give them all your HL and stole it from them?
I don't believe you can steal from clones unfortunately. as for the other methods, I'm not entirely sure. I would think it would be a common tactic to use if they worked so I doubt it, but I haven't tried it myself
I may be a bit late to the party, but i played this game way back in the day on my PSP all the time. Sadly i lost like my 400 hour save data, should i give this game another shot though? Idk if the PC port adds anything new
from my understanding it’s just a port of the PSP version so it’s pretty much the same, except it automatically comes with all the DLC. so I don’t think it’ll offer a different experience necessarily, but if it’s been a long time since you’ve played and wanna give it another shot, go for it!
To level an item to level 200 it's better to get 2 level sphere's per every 10 floors from floor 21 to 99 and you do that: Floor 21 to 24 get a level sphere gency out on 25 save and quit game, load save file Floor 25 to 28 get a level sphere gency out on 29 save and quit game, kill item god gency out save, kill item god again and look for the chicken if you want to boos stats Then do the same from 31 to 34 and 35 to 39 and then repeat on the rest of the floors while looking out for ambush and fortune teller rooms. If you are lucky and fast you can max an item in 2 to 5 hours.
I definitely will in the future! it likely won’t be for a while since there’ll be quite a few months coming up where I don’t think I’ll have the time to make big projects, but when that’s over, I plan to start the Disgaea 4 Complete+ guide!
i dont recommend trying to do one of these for 3, not only is it not widely available in the same way 1 and 4 are but it also unintentionally would be promoting a known predator in the form of mao's voice actor

Can’t they just use the voices from whichever localization isn’t that person. I think you can change the voices between Japanese and english
