That's a great Ipsy boost! I used to have ipsy but got mad at their lack of customer service as there were 4 issues with my bag once and they decided that 300 points was enough to make up for changing 4 of my 5 items to things I didn't want. Sad because I really enjoyed picking my items and trying new things!

My mom got me that Maneater palette for Christmas in 2022 and it is amazing, I actually used it today!

That is a lot of stuff. Ipsy has good stuff. The eyeshadow box is perfect, those colors are same colors I would use. I am learning a lot about face care and so on from you.

So glad I checked out this video. I usually stick to the FFF videos because that is what I subscribe to. The thumbnail of the Ipsy haul had me intrigued. I subscribed to them years ago. It looks like they have changed! I might need to check them out again. That Maneater palette looks amazing!

I just signed up for Boxycharm by Ipsy a few months ago and love it. I too have oily hair, I barely get to day 2. My scalp actually hurts if I go more than two days.
I love these ipsy products. I have the same hair type as you and completely agree. I tried to train my hair and didn't work. I also have hooded eyes and have to fan dry my makeup sometimes. Love that gold liquid eyeshadow.
I have a fan that I picked up in the China pavilion at Disney World that I’ve used for the same thing!

Hey hun. My hair is more dry. I can wash my haironce a week and I have been taking hair vitamins for 2 years so I'm happy with the results. Your hair is so pretty. Tfs friend. I hope u have a great weekend ahead. 12:33 😊
Wow mega Ipsy unboxing! And of course not all hair or scalp is the same. A lot of it has to do with hair type I think. My hair is pretty wavy and can go pretty long without being “oily” - which is helped by me using very little product because I don’t really style it. Black or other people who have type 4 hair often need a TON of moisture and oils in their hair , and I’ve used some of those products like Carol’s Daughter with success.
You’d be surprised how many people I come up against who tell me in no uncertain terms that if I’d just wash less my hair would adapt…there did. It get frustrating…lol

For oily scalp and dry ends, you should try a boar bristle brush to pull the natural oils down your hair. Whilst it may not help with less frequent washes, it will help distribute your natural oils and make the ends softer. I also wash my hair every 2
Days and think it’s a good compromise ;)

I have oily hair/skin also & the most i can get by with is the 2nd day, if i put hairspray on it, otherwise, its just the day i wash it.
Yep, day 2 takes product for me to make it work too…

I am a very oily haired girl too. I can not get more than 2 days. It looks so gross! Even if I could, there would be no way I could go multiple days without washing it between the gym, horses and the Texas heat.

I kind of miss my Ipsy plus. But it's not the same without the bags, which I used as gift bags. Trying really hard not to do monthly subscriptions, although I still have Rocksbox and Journal Junk Sak.
I did love those Ipsy Plus bags! I used them for a lot of things too, gifts being one of them!
Based on what ive seen and read, i dont think my hair is "trainable" either. I wash my hair everyday and avoid hair oils. I dont need them. I still use leave in conditioners and other products like that.
Yep, I went long periods of time during lockdown and my hair nevvvver adapted!

Ugh, tough one…the last few allure boxes have been great, but I saw the May spoiler and it’s….fine. Not woohoo. I like the choice in Ipsy and the glam bag is less expensive.
I’m sorry I’m not convinced I need to use a serum OR an essence. Does everyone really think we need all these steps??
Nope, people compliment me on my skin all the time and say I don’t look my age…only just started messing with serums regularly. I think if you have a specific issue perhaps a serum could help, like dark spots…

How do you feel about makeup from PRC/China?
Generally I have to admit…I don’t even look when it’s a brand I trust. When it comes to Temu or dollar store or Shein…that kind of thing….i just don’t do it.
