- A bunch of fried stuff in a pan...what's not to like? Today we're at The Idle Cafe & Bakery about to take on their so far undefeated fry up challenge. 25 minutes to topple a tray full of sausages, bacon, black pudding, eggs, two kinds of tomatoes, beans and toast, accompanied by a rather large mug of coffee...oh...and a biscoff biscuit for good measure.

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Out of so many food eaters, you seriously make it look easy...you eat it all and its not about the desert joke..but your expressions and words its like you ate a small meal and it shows...but in reality you just ate a meal for a family of 5..crazy man

Minus the timer, that actually doesn’t look THAT bad. Not saying it would be easy but being timed takes a lot of the enjoyment out of it, imo.
You don't get the meal taken away from you after 30 minutes... you just fail the challenge and don't get whatever the restaurant's reward is, or onto their leaderboards. Nothing stopping you from getting it and ignoring the timer and the competition...
If you actually sat in front of it and looked at all that bread and carbs you'd hit a wall. Everyone thinks they can do these but there is a reason they stay undefeated until the Beard comes.

Spent about 3 weeks in England and loved everything about a Full English breakfast, except the black pudding. Talked to a co-worker that was born and raised there and he said don't worry, he didn't like it either. Well done Beard!

I lived in Idle 26 years ago before moving to Cornwall. There was a pub that had live bands on which was good, can't remember the name of it. Never gave Idle a thought until watching this. I certainly don't miss the place, despite being born in Yorkshire and living there half of my life. Most of it is a ghetto now.

Well done Beard ! If it wasn’t for so much toast and the 25 minute time limit, I think I could actually give this particular challenge an honest run. Watching your videos, I usually feel like I’d hang my head in shameful defeat eating next to you. With this one, I’m sure I’d still lose but MAN, what a yummy looking breakfast !!!!!!!!

Idle is my home village. It's amazing that there is no humour quite the same anywhere I've been... The evidence is now on film. This is agreat establishment and its great that you found it.
Black Pudding is the BEST. I have a couple sitting in my freezer along with white pudding and a pack of rashers.

The fact that no one on the restaurant recognized him meant that he got the REAL BREAKFAST CHALLENGE. When they know who you are, you get extra beans and tomatoes and mushrooms I gurantee it.
How do you reconcile that guarantee with the fact that the items in the challenge are actually listed in the description of it? Perhaps more beans could be slipped in but every other component is cited as a particular number of that item. One whole tomato, four mushrooms, etc.

This is the first challenge I've seen him do where I thought I could even come close to consuming the food minus the time frame in which to do it. Most of the other challenges he does my stomach would explode half way through.
