I am a series one Lotus Seven owner and I have had many Bugeyes in the past. I have really enjoyed the ride of watching you restore the 100. I will of course come along for the home remodel but hopefully you’ll do more 100 videos also along the way. Thank you for many great episodes!
Super. Many thanks. I owned a 1957 100/6 in the early sixties in Victoria, BC, Canada which I should have kept. Loved the look, ride and exhaust note. It had body issues which needed fixing and with a young family, and related commitments, I traded it in for an Austin 1100. Later I owned an old Austin Westminster as a second car. Had the same engine as the 100/6.
Karl, congratulations on being close to wrapping up the 100 and on finding the new garage with a house attached. It looks like you ar going to have your hands full for a while! I, along with many others, have certainly enjoyed your car build and your videos. Thanks so much and good luck to you! Lin
Karl, All the best with your new challenge: a house! I enjoyed all the video's of season 2 : the 100. My project of the BN1 is progressing well. All my greetings to Maya (a name I don't forget !) and I hope to see you again in Belgium. Always welcome!
Thanks for allowing us into your world. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride. My guess is that you’ll keep the Spridget hell or high water even while you sell on the Big Healeys.
Looks like you ran into a cool set up with the house and garage. Now you can get the house/garage going and come up with some interesting ideas on the project. Be sure and let us know about any Healey related stuff during the home restoration. Oh yeah, take care of your back and have fun!
Ah well all good things come to an end sooner or latter, thanks for all the posts, i very much enjoyed the 100/4 rebuild, a luverly car, great that you have put another Healey back on the road, farewell and adieu old chap.
Karl, in episode 39 you placed some type of foam tape or something on the chassis where the front shroud lands just forward of the dash area. What did you use there? Any info would be great. Good work
It's butyl tape. It keep the aluminum away from the steel so it doesn't rot. Here is a link to some on Amazon. Butyl tape black adhesive on both sides - 20 mm. Thickness: 2 mm. Length: 15 metres. www.amazon.de/dp/B083L7TW59/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_glt_i_182DHCJ69BF9CZC5EHNY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
