Does a leak in the intercooler cause loose of power .. i have a leak and especially when i go up the mountain i get this spiral light come waving and loss of power..
I went thro 3 turbo intercoolers, they all failed in my t5 all covered by warranty.. It was a pain in the arse it went into limp mode also.. If i remember rightly the garage changed a cable/plug in somewhere and it was fine after that.. The cable was tight/short and over time the connection was shite.. I can't remember where i dont have van anymore..

Nope your wrong. Instagram and Facebook are live. The videos are behind. Due to having to film edit and upload. Theres another video Tuesday. And the another next Friday when it's fixed. I dont always release videos in certain orders, and don't forget I release some videos as how tos which are for people wanting to learn how to do something specific like this intercooler. So are filmed differently and may not be in sequence with what I'm doing on Facebook etc. Theres was the tuebo revive, then this intercooler, at the same time as the intercooler i filmed the video for Tuesday, then theres the video which is next Friday which is the actual fix. But all 4 of these videos are how to tutorials to try and help people fix their cars. Hope that kinda explains it. If not message me lol and ill talk to ya.
+- oh jesus.. painful watching.. just whip the grill and bumper off.. takes less than 10mins.. better than all the ohh and ahhhing spraying and onderscoping... and btw you need to rev the car under load to see most boost leaks.. not on idle.

Underboost fault codes are normally due to a seized EGR.
Cheers. I resolved the issue in a later video. My fault was a fault N75 valve that was getting stuck.
Its could be the pcv value that is letting oil past

Try spraying a can of mister muscle oven cleaner in the turbo and keep moving the actuator up & down
Indeed this is a cure for over boost. Not underboost im afraid. :)

next:check all vaccum lines, then turbo.
Should have just put the intercooler in bath of water and pressurised it with a bike pump instead of guessing..
Double check your intercooler
We were thinking it didn't quite look straight and level when you refitted the bumper the drivers side looked a little higher than the passenger side
Appreciate the comment but its straight as it locates into holes in the framework behind. So can't really go anywhere else.
