1.Should put some glowstone or iron blocks in the room with the mountain sticking in 2. dig straight downwards, make a little like room maybe like 9x9 , fill it with lava so you can dump garbage in it:)

To mine cobwebs, go to a dungeon, and find a Silk Touch book. Then use the anvil to get silk touch on your sword.

there is an enchantment for shears i think, that allows you to collect cobwebs through an enchanted book

You can enchant shears with silk touch,and then collect cobweb.
if you enchant a book and get silk touch you can use an anvil to put it on shears. that way you can get cobwebs.
they do, on shears, it can get cobwebs and glass panes

light up the place w/ redstone lamps! you can craft them with 4 redstone and 1 glowstone block!
your so pro pi build a big nice house :D but the problem is the pressure plate because mobs can get in by stepping on it :D

You can get cobwebs by mining them with a sword :)
Instead of little doors for the side rooms, put 2 or 3 block wide arch ways!
