Yes. Had a long term relationship. 2020 found out he cheated with an ex. Talk about thrown for a loop! Broke me all the way down til all I could do was look up. Singleness is not a prison. It's for us to heal, deal, and be set free. I got so healed from falling in love with Jesus and myself that I forgot I was heartbroken and I didn't even look at him as my enemy. I started journaling,reading devotionals, doing all the root work and it changed the dynamic of our relationship as well. We're literally best friends. It's so crazy.

I’ve learned through this pandemic to start dating myself. Although, I am married with children….we as woman get lost in doing and caring for others that we put ourselves on the back burner.
That's me.. had baby #2 at the beginning of the pandemic and got completely lost in motherhood. Being a working married mom is hard.

I know I'm 2 years late to the conversation, but I was just reminded of this a couple of days ago while at the nail salon. I am also married and a mom of 3. I have completely lost myself in motherhood and being a wife. So lost that barely have friends anymore because I don't get a chance to get out. I don't know what I like anymore, I don't have hobbies, I don't pick up the phone and call anyone because my entire day is full of being a wife and a mother on top of caring for my elderly mother. I don't know who I am anymore 😢. But I am slowly getting back to me because I had to understand that self care isn't selfish. Sorry for the long post, I just had to vent a little bit 😩

Crazy thing is we been knowing each other for years. I always believe your soulmate is never mountains and oceans away. They’re always close by. Love this ladies! Healing is a must!

I’m an older woman that has been out of the dating game for a few years now. When I think I’m going to give it another try, the late 40’s and 50yr old boys remind me to just stay single a little while longer. I miss having a male companion but I don’t miss all the extra that come along with it. Porcia I can relate to those 20’s he’ll even 30’s🤦🏽♀️. Loved this first episode, I will be tuned in for more.

I can definitely relate to Porcia's standpoint -- my divorce was finalized two months ago and I'm glad and excited to be free but not excited to be back in the dating pool for the exact reasons y'all stated. Things are so different now with dating so I'm not in no rush. This was a great conversation -- keep them coming ladies! 💜🔥💯

Dating yourself is a beautiful thang. Sometimes I spoil myself a bit too much. I have to slow down a bit. But loving myself is still a continual journey.

Dating myself has become 💯, after realizing my worth, I refuse to just settle for anything. I take myself to the movies, live theatre & breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was scary @ first, but the more I do it I'm comfortable. The last guy I dated turned out to be a real nut & I knew that I deserved better. The last thing I heard he had died. If you talk to some folks not only women , but there are some guys are dating themselves also. Great 1st show & looking forward to more. 💯❤️

Congrats ladies! I’m in my 50’s and have NEVER been on a “date”! Divorced twice and 3 adult children. I’ve taken myself on dates my whole life! I still date me and have been abstinent for almost 8 years! I’m happy and content! I don’t see the necessity in foolery and lying to just go out and have fun with someone! Best of luck with you young ladies.

Great show, caused me to reflect on my dating life in my 20s and 30s. Yeah some of what I entertained then would not be able to pass Go now. It’s a whole new ballgame when you’ve been through a few things, LEARNED lessons, GROWN pass some stuff. You see the bull when it’s coming five miles down the road. I enjoy the space and place I’m at now in my 40s because it’s time out for the nonsense.

This was a great show. Starting over isn’t easy. I lost my husband almost 4 years ago after being married for 15 years, may he Rest In Peace. Being alone for 4 years how do you start over at 50.

And honey I was the best date ever! 😆 I took myself to the spa, expensive dinners, nails and hair, traveled! Baby I did that 😆 🤣 now I'm married with kids and life is different but I love it all! And I still have my days to myself when I can! But I encourage all single people to do the damn thing! Don't wait! Live honey!!!!!!

Great show, I want to offer a different perspective on dating. The dating stage is not exclusive unless agreed otherwise. Don’t expect more than what you vocalize. It is wise to date multiple people at once. It also helps them to respect and not test your standard/boundary of not having sex before you want to. Let a man tell you he wants you to be his woman in a exclusive relationship. Assuming marriage is what you want, That same man should see marriage in HIS future. Doesn’t serve us to get in a relationship with someone who doesn’t have the same end goals. Best wishes ladies 💕

This wasn’t bad. Gaurding your heart is ok. I was out here in this world tho and some of the decisions I felt like I use to regret but when I look back, I realized it taught me soo much. I made dating fun and the focus was on learning about my wants and needs. When the right guy showed up, it was so scary cause everything felt better. Not that we didn’t have obstacles.
