  • This is a complete rebuild of a 1969 Corvette into a Pro Touring, LS swapped show car. This was a bare frame project that took about 2 years to complete. The car has a 520 HP LS3 with a 4L75E Auto trans. The suspension is all Ride Tech coil over with Wilwood 6 piston brakes. The body has been customized with Custom Image Corvette flares and other additions. The interior is all new with C5 power seats and all leather interior. If you have any questions about the car, feel free to give me a call. @208-703-1378 (Gary)

    U did an Amazing job on the car.
    What year Corvette seats did u put in? Only one thing I would ad. Replace the two taillights with the backup lamps in them . Replace them with the factory all red taillights and make all 4 come on when u hit the brakes. Are those custom wheel flares? They seem to fit the car better than the normal L88 flares.

    Some say the E-Type Jaguar is the most beautiful car ever made. For my money it's the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The clean but curvaceous lines cut it for me.

    • @Aquablue62
      @Aquablue62 4 года назад +1

      I’d say they’re beautiful in their own ways. The E-Type has a more elegant look where as the Stingray has more of a sporty and fast look to it. Personally I’d say the 250 GTO or the 250 GT California is the most beautiful

    I'm not into restomods but since the car was a basketcase it makes sense to do what you did. I'd like to see what you could do with a street-survivor Covette. Similar to how the Air Force pulls a B-52 out of the boneyard. They recondition the airframe, replace worn parts and bring the aircraft back to operational status. The plane doesn't look new but carries it patina with pride.

      It’s all just time and money. Problem with doing a factory style rebuild is it’s super expensive, and no one really likes driving. Slow, poor handling , bad braking car . You can’t get anywhere near your costs out of them unless it’s some one off factory hi end car.

    I’m having some issues with my cold air intake. My setup is similar but it’s pulling 140 degree plus.

      Not cheap but I've seen a few people use the Vararam over-the-radiator CAI on C3s with front-mount throttle bodies. A small bit of trimming is supposed to do the job. -
      DeWitt will also make a radiator with 1-2" of the top rows of fins missing to provide more room, but then you need some big seals up top.

    • @grwiggy
      @grwiggy  4 года назад

      Lego Buildings Rewiew can build them manual or auto. This was just her preference. Can even do a 6 speed manual but in these old cars you have to modify the trans tunnel extensively so the trans swap becomes expensive !

    amazing car why the 70 -72 exhaust tips ?

    • @grwiggy
      @grwiggy  8 месяцев назад

      Well the owner didn’t want side pipes and she thought that the rectangle tips were way cooler than the 69 round ones. Can’t say I disagree with her, these are much more attractive.

    What, no airbags?! No self-driving? Lol. This is sick. How much for something like that? I have a stock 427 '69 I drive every day I am alone. Can't imagine how this thing drives. My stock exhaust is too quiet, need it like that.

      I checked the file, and that steering wheel came from Paragon corvettes. It was part number 15833-Blk. It’s a thicker rim than normal and is very comfortable. Cost around $120

    This is exactly the style and color I'm looking to build, but I think an L88 hood scoop looks better than the LT1 type

    • @grwiggy
      @grwiggy  4 года назад

      The L88 scoop sits higher and since the owner is rather short, we decided to go with the lower of the two. And the chrome trim is a nice touch that the L88 doesn't have.
