Thanks for the Twitter info, I am in the process of setting up an account for our Private College and needed some pointers. Thanks, I can't wait to get started tomorrow!
Thank you. This is my third day of having Twitter and I was completely clueless. This is a very big help!! I now subscribe. Once again thank you from a grateful 67 year old.
Left Twitter few years ago, as in right after I sign up and forgot what Tweet... But after or should I say While watching this video... I kinda installed my Twitter app and just played with it while you're talking... I think tweeting is kinda interesting, after your explanations... Thanx A Million David...
Really, really helpful! I'm brand new to Twitter and didn't have a clue what I was doing, and didn't want to get buried in "the un-necessaries." Thanks for the class!
David A. Cox is always my favorite and first go-to channel for learning anything tech. Very professional, reliable, lucid and comprehensive videos. Thank you David for making our tech lives easier.
Thanks David - just starting into Twitter and this is the "best of the best" of all Twitter intros I have viewed. You simplify and show great benefit to technology - and - that is an amazing skill towards really making a difference in our lives!
I've had Twitter since it first came out, but hardly ever used it... I had a different user name from the one I have now and oddly enough had a decent amount of followers. During the years I think I've had like about 5 accounts and I started the cycle once more . This time it's mostly to follow certain people and businesses for updates.... like you I'm not interested in getting a lot of followers nor making my account noticeable to anyone. But I've found out that most of the people I follow on Twitter check it out much more often than Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites, so I can MAYBE ask questions and MAYBE they will get answered. Anyway, your tutorial has been quite helpful , I gave it a thumbs up and have seen quite a number of your tutorials here in You Tube , even though I hardly comment, and they have all been very helpful. I love the way you cover so much information so accurately and in such a short time.... I never get tired or bored.... really awesome. Thank you.
Again, David, you have helped me out as I just signed up for Twitter and appreciate your helpful tips in an easy way to understand. I love your videos and have watched many of them some several times as being 70 and not computer savvy I just get so much information in the way you are so adept by your not getting so technical.
Hard of hearing here, and I can't tell you how much well-done captions mean to me. I will always like and leave a comment on any video that has them, as a thank you from me.
Great class. I'm just learning twitter. Your video is worth 1000 words read over & over. You sail smoothly through basic conceptd, have a great voice, and you're easy to take notes from!
Thanks from Germany for a helpful tutorial. Even if I can't share the Apple affinity, I appreciate the kind and less comercial way, you bring along your stuff. I will recommend you.
I am working on expanding my RUclips Channel, and I had no clue how to using twitter. But thanks to this video I have a greater grasp of it. thank you.
Hello David, Thanks for this video! I'm new to Twitter and this was incredibly helpful. You have an engaging style and presented the information in an easily applicable way. Looking forward to other PC Classes Online videos. B
Well, I've hated Twitter, because I just couldn't understand how it worked. I am so glad I've watched your video. It was so amazing and so very enlightening! Thank you, thank you!
Hi David, I'm just starting college and I am a media science student and that compels me to explore all mediums of social media. This video really helped me set up my account and helped understand the business perks one can have with having a twitter account and also how it is beneficial to the average person. Thank you so much! :)
I was so interested when I saw the class name that included the words "Twitter" & "Beginners". However, few minutes passed before the class contained words, ideas and situations that were totally not yet familiar to me. I shall search for a Twitter operators manual and take it slow. Thank you though David for the parts that I did begin to understand.
Thanks, an excellent tutorial. Not only did you answer the questions I had, you also flagged up some stuff I would never even have considered. I have tended to look on many social media apps as Pandoras Boxes and steered well clear, but I think I may well give this one a go. Thank you, job well done. 👏
Thanks and appreciation. Would you believe there are still people who have no clue about Twitter. I am one of them. Good lesson - will keep "studying". Thanks.
Thank You David, I'm no where near a 'PC-Savvy' person. You made this very simple friendly for me to look forward beginning a Twitter account. Planning for our Beach Cabin rentals, naturally to promote ourselves/ location. Thank You Again:)
For what it's worth, I thoroughly enjoy your learner-centered classes, particularly your energy, instructional style, engaging speaking voice, and attention to the anxiety of newbies. Your work is definitely appreciated!
Hi David, thank you for enlightening me on Twitter, I have been on it for a while and never got excited about it, mainly because I really didn't understand it. Now it's much clearer and picked up quite a few really useful tips. Many thanks.
Thank you for the class on Twitter!! I'm a Full Sail Student that found this video truly helpful for a first time user. Thank you a great deal David Cox!!!!
Dave I really like your videos on all your classes this one on twitter was very helpful to me as well. I am a photographer that is starting out and it is hard to fine people to shoot photos of Thanks again
Really enjoyed your presentation, just what i needed. I have a new website and business your suggestions really helped. Thank you . I am going to watch your other post because you are a very very good teacher.
Nice video, I definitely got a lot out of it. I've never been a twitter user but I think I'm going to start using it for my own online business, which is selling pianos and equipment needed to get people started learning about music and how to play the piano.
Thank you. Very informative. If I didn't learn anything else the link to Bitlink is a godsend. I do wish you'd gone a little further in depth about how to save an image and add it to a tweet.
Hey, thank you for the class. I've learned some stuff I didn't know before. But as you said in the beginning, I don't know a purpose for using Twitter and still don't know it. I really want to use it, I already have an account for years, but really often I just don't want to check new tweets and sometimes it's just confusing. It would be great if Twitter is a platform, on which I get news about things I'm interested in, but although I tried it, it doesn't work that well.
Many thanks David for such a fantastic tutorial, particularly around privacy and security and tips for do’s and dont’s. I feel well equipped now to finish setting up my profile and sending my first tweet. Thanks again and have a great day 🤩
Thanks for the info, I am interested in twitter but don't know how it really works. Your class was very helpful, thank you David you do a great job and I learn a lot from your classes.
Great tutorial, thanks! As an indie game developer I was always wondering how to use Twitter effectively to promote my upcoming game, but this clears things up! Cheers.
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for providing some insight as to the workings of twitter for newbies such as me. I found it helpful, and it gave me a little peace of mind for us older folks new to social media such as this. Thank you so much!
David, great job. Lots of useful information. I have a new baseball quote website I developed and though I have been on twitter for years, I am finally dedicating time and effort to marketing. Your info was very useful. Thank you.
Excellent and very helpful, David. I also teach, and I've learned that it's helpful to imagine one is speaking to a bright 12 year old. This helps prevent one from forgetting that some out there don't have a clue what you are saying, so total handholding is recommended and nothing taken for granted. For instance, when you said you tweeted an airline, I had no idea how you did that. I would love for you to have shown how you did that. But still very generous and helpful. Thanks. I'm a fan. Also love your voice. Important.
Thank you Mr Cox I enjoy watching your videos on my days off at home and it's great to have an understanding about the cyber world we are living. You are doing a fantastic job by helping people.
This is great, it's very helpful to me. I am planning to start Twitter account so I appreciate this tutorial. Very simplified, clear and pleasant to watch and listen. All the best!
Thanks for the video - I have a twitter account, but have never really used it because I had no idea what I was doing. Made one comment once only to be informed by my niece that I needed to # it. Now I understand why.
I can share one of my experience that around 5 years ago I was working on one website. But the website got down for some little time. So well got frustrated about the issue. No way to cotact customar care, cause website link is down. I just made a tweet and found reply with in five minute.
I have watched many video's on Twitter lately but none of them are as good as this. I have learned more in this video than all the rest put together. Thanks David.
Wow! Great content! I really appreciate this tutorial. I've been using Twitter for awhile but now I want to use it for a new business I'm rolling out. You are a terrific teacher!
I first scrolled past this thinking, 1/2 hour's too long. I want something fast. Wow, that 1/2 hour went fast. /That's a complement./ I'm not 'new' to twitter, BUT, I've always hated it. I've never understood anything. When I first signed up, I was getting notifications on my phone about every little, stupid thing, and really had no clue what I was doing. Oh, and my biggest problem, which still exists. How do I sum up my thought in such short space. I'm Italian, I can't say goodbye without starting a second paragraph. Your video helped a lot. Thank you.
Thanks! This was totally informative. I am delightedly surprised. In such a short video you aprised me of everything needed to approach twitter with some sense of understanding of the what and the how of its performance. Things that I would have neglected only to find out later after some possible disaster. Thank you again, this was so painless, detailed, smart and simple.
By far, THE best beginner tutorial out there! Thanks for sharing your expertise, David!
I totally agree

One of the best beginner videos I've seen. Thanks, David.
